Opis:: Information on the energy needs of agricultural production activities carried out in any region can be obtained in advance. Many methods are used for this purpose. One of them is a degree-hour method. Kumluca district of Antalya province where pepper cultivation is done intensively was chosen as a study area. The growers prefer autumn production of pepper plants inside the greenhouses in this region. Production starts in early October and last until June. The long-term (1960-2015) thermometer temperatures in the study area were obtained from the Turkish State Meteorological Service. In this study, by using only meteorological data, during each growing season (planting, flowering, pollination, fruit ripening and harvesting) were obtained degree-hour values for the pepper plant and evaluated with Student-t test. Regression coefficients were obtained by correlating heating and cooling degree-hour values with different temperature values which are recommended during the vegetative growing season for the pepper plant. Regression analysis was performed between obtaining heating and cooling degree-hour values (dependent variable) and annual mean heating and cooling degree hour values (independent variable) which are suggested basic temperature values. In conclusion, the regression coefficients were determined as 0.99 for out of greenhouse heating degree-hour and as 0.90-0.99 for cooling degree-hour, respectively. Heating and cooling-hour values were found between 0.96-0.88 and 0.99-0.87, respectively. It was determined that there are very high correlations in the positive direction. According to different growing seasons of pepper, knowing how much less or more of heating and cooling degree-hour values is needed, one can give information in advance in terms of energy consumption or usage. Areas or regions where less energy is to be used can be determined in terms of agricultural production to be done in any region.

Opis:: Elektrociepłownie (EC) przeszły w ostatnich 10-ciu latach znaczącą transformację prawną i organizacyjną. Na rynku energii elektrycznej zostały zmuszone do konkurowania z elektrowniami systemowymi, które z natury nie są narażone na zmienność pogodową. Definicja wysokosprawnej kogeneracji oraz Krajowe Plany Rozdziału Uprawnień do emisji dwutlenku węgla ograniczyły EC możliwość korzystania z przywileju „obowiązku zakupu” i wymusiły dyscyplinę efektywnościową. Na technicznym rynku energii elektrycznej rola EC w utrzymaniu bezpieczeństwa energetycznego zwiększa się znacząco, szczególnie w obrębie aglomeracji miejsko-przemysłowych. Możliwości istotnego wpły-wu EC na kształtowanie się profilu napięciowego i rozpływu mocy biernej w sieciach 110 kV nie są dostatecznie wykorzystywane.
During the last ten years heat and power plants have undergone substantial legal and organizational transformations. They have been forced to compete with system power plants on the electricity market, which are naturally not exposed to weather fluctuations. The definition of the highly efficient co-generation and the National Plans of Carbon Credits Distribu-tion have limited the capacity of heat and power plants to use the “obligatory purchases” and enforced efficiency discipline. On the technical market of electricity, the role of heat and power plants in maintaining the energy safety has been increasing significantly, especially within urban and industrial agglomerations. The potential major impact of heat and power plants on maintaining voltage profile and the passive energy distribution in 110 kV networks has not been used sufficiently.

Opis:: The aim of the study was to determine 24-hour activity of the Wild Boar at the baiting sit established in a forest ecosystem next to large scale plantations, moistly of maize. The study was based on 24-hours monitoring by camera traps. This pilot study was conducted during a year (from May 2015 to June 2016) in western Poland. Recording the exact time and date of each observation made it possible to determine the 24-hour rhythm of the studied species. Moreover, we obtained information on the seasonal change of the structure and size of the packs, and on the frequency of their occurrence at the baiting site. Changes in the size of packs over the year matched directly the animals’ breeding cycle. The highest activity of Wild Boars was recorded between 10:00 p.m. and 02:00 a.m. In each month the time of their coming and leaving the baiting sit matched sunrise and sunset. Wild Boars were also active during the day. This refers mostly to small groups of a few unexperienced squeakers and piglets without the leading females.
Celem badań było określenie aktywności dobowej dzików na nęcisku założonym w ekosystemie leśnym graniczącym z wielkoobszarowymi uprawami głównie kukurydzy. Do badań wykorzystano całodobowy monitoring z fotopułapek. Pilotażowe badania prowadzono przez okres jednego roku (od maja 2015 do czerwca 2016), w zachodniej części Polski. Rejestracja dokładnego czasu oraz dat każdej detekcji umożliwiła poznanie rytmu dobowego badanego gatunku. Ponadto uzyskano informację o sezonowej zmianie struktury oraz wielkości watah a także o częstości ich bytowania w obrębie miejsca dokarmiania. Zmiany liczebności watah w ciągu roku pokrywały się bezpośrednio z przebiegiem cyklu rozrodczego. Najwyższą aktywność w ciągu doby zarejestrowano między godzin ą 22.00 a 02.00. W poszczególnych miesiącach czas pojawiania się, jak i schodzenia zwierzyny z nęciska pokrywał się ze wschodem i zachodem słońca. Odnotowano także aktywność dzików w ciągu dnia. Taka sytuacja dotyczyła głównie małych grup składających się z kilku młodych niedoświadczonych pasiaków lub warchlaków, bez lochy przewodzącej w stadzie.

Opis:: The leading theme of this article is the enigmatic “hour” as revealed in the account at Cana (2:1-11). Jesus’ words to his mother, οὔπω ἥκει ἡ ὥρα μου (2:4), are considered obscure and difficult to interpret, causing an intriguing and unresolved controversy within Johannine scholarship. Most exegetes agree that this phrase is to be taken as a denial. According to them, Jesus announces that his hour has not yet come, because this “hour” is bound to the hour when “the Son of Man is glorified”, alluding to his being lifted up on the Cross and raised up “on the third day”. However, there is another solution suggested by a significant number of scholars. They propose reading Jesus’ words οὔπω ἥκει ἡ ὥρα μου as a question, which better guarantees the overall coherence of the story in light of the wider OT context. This interpretation focuses specifically on the temporal indication of “the third day”, the biblical image of the wedding, and the abundance and high quality of the wine, a beginning of signs and of the revelation of Jesus’ glory which serve to stimulate the faith of his disciples. In this view, this multiplicity of themes indicates that the meaning of the “hour” lies in the motif of fulfillment. Jesus is the Messiah who brings to perfection all that has been foretold in Scripture. His “hour” begins “now” and continues throughout his public life until it reaches its ultimate fulfillment in the glory of his Cross and Resurrection. The present article is focused, therefore, on investigating the interrelations among the main biblical themes brought to the fore in the Cana narrative, and their meanings in relation to the “hour” of Jesus.

Opis:: Sposób rozumienia terminu ὥρα w Ap jest zależny od kontekstu literackiego i teologicznego księgi. W pierwszym punkcie artykułu omówiono teksty z Listów do Kościołów. W kontekście przesłania Chrystusa do Kościołów „godzina” wiąże się z kondycją wspólnoty wierzących. W Liście do Kościoła w Sardach (3,3) brak czujności może spowodować, że nie będzie on zdolny rozpoznać czasu nadejścia swojego Pana. W Liście do Kościoła w Filadelfii (3,10) otrzymuje on od Chrystusa obietnicę zachowania w godzinie próby. W punkcie drugim omówiono pozostałe teksty znajdujące się w kontekście głównej części Ap 4,1-22,5. W Ap 17–18 odniesienia do „godziny” posiadają dwa różne znaczenia. W kontekście Ap 17,12 „jedna godzina” symbolizuje ograniczony okres władzy skierowanej przeciwko Bogu, Barankowi i Kościołowi. W pieśni żałobnej w Ap 18 „jedna godzina” stanowi stały element lamentu królów, kupców i właścicieli statków (18,10.17.19). Wyrażenie „jedna godzina” podkreśla nagły i szybki upadek Babilonu. W Ap 11,13 „godzina” to precyzyjny moment realizacji planu Boga (11,13). W Ap 9,15; 14,7.15 jest to dokładnie zaplanowany jest moment sądu Bożego. W punkcie trzecim omówiono znaczenie wyrażenia „pół godziny” W przypadku „półgodziny” w Ap 8,1 prawdopodobnie chodzi o bardzo krótki okres czasu. W kontekście Ap godzina może oznaczać zarówno konkretny moment historyczny, jak i bardzo krótki, ograniczony okres czasu. W jednym i drugim przypadku czas ten jest zaplanowany przez Boga.
Correct understanding of the term ὥρα in Rev depends on the literary and theological context. In the first section of the article the texts of the Letters to the Churches are discussed. There, in the context of the message of Christ, the “hour” is related to the situation of each Christian community. In the Letter to the Church in Sardis (3:3), a lack of vigilance can cause her not to recognize the time of the Lord’s coming. In the Letter to the Church in Philadelphia (3:10), the community receives a promise to be preserved in the hour of trial. In the second section of the article, the texts of the main part of Rev are discussed. In Rev 17–18 the “hour” has two different meanings. In the context of Rev 17:12 the “one hour” symbolizes the limited period of government directed against God, Christ and the Church. In a funeral song in Rev 18 the “one hour” is a recurring element of laments over the kings, the merchants, and of the owners of seagoing ships (18:10.17.19). The expression “one hour” indicates an impending and sudden fall of Babylon. In other texts the “hour” is a moment of fulfilling God’s intentions (11:13) and a precise, planned moment of judgment (9:15; 14:7.15). In the third section the expression “half-hour” (8:1) is discussed, which probably means a very short period of time. Thus, in the context of Rev the term “hour” may mean either a specific historical moment or a very limited period of time, but always an element of time planned, implemented or permitted by God.

Opis:: Introduction. The main purposes of this study were to investigate shift-work-related health problems in 12-h shift schedule and to identify major factors associated with these problems. Materials and methods. This cross-sectional study was conducted at 8 petrochemical plants. The study population consisted of 1203 workers (549 shift and 654 day workers). Data on personal details, the shift schedule and adverse health outcomes were collected with a self-administered questionnaire. Results. The results showed that health problems in shift workers were more prevalent than in day workers; however, the differences were significant only in gastrointestinal and musculoskeletal disorders. Logistic regression analysis revealed that in addition to shift work, other variables such as extended work time, type of employment, second job and job unit were associated with health problems. Conclusions. Working shifts is one important variable influencing the health of petrochemical workers. To improve workers’ health, interventional program should focus on the shift schedule as well as other significant aspects of working conditions.

Opis:: The civilisation progress has caused noise to become one of essential pathogenic and life comfort decreasing factors. There are several legal regulations aimed at controlling the noise influence on humans. Assessment of the twenty-four-hour influence of noises in various environments constitutes an essential problem. The answer can be supplied by 24-hour monitoring of the sound pressure. This paper is an attempt to learn the real loading of humans by noises. A personal noise indicator was used in measurements. The human 24-hour activity was divided into cycles allowing to model noise hazards. The collected data, even though they did not signal exceeding of individual standards, in the 24-hour period indicated the essential noise influence. These results indicate the need of investigations to recognise the 24-hour noise load of a human, with taking into account various forms of their activity and the need of rest.

Opis:: W pracy przedstawiono wyniki przykładowych badań, dotyczących wpływu wybranych czynników zakłócających na dokładność wskazań jednofazowych liczników energii elektrycznej. Badania przeprowadzono na zaprojektowanym i wykonanym stanowisku pomiarowym. Prezentowane stanowisko umożliwia zadawanie wybranych czynników zakłócających pracę licznika. Określono wpływ zmian napięcia, temperatury, oraz silnego pola magnetycznego na dokładność pomiaru wybranych liczników.
The exemplary investigation results concerning the influence of selected disturbance factors on the accuracy of indications of single-phase Watt-hour meters are presented in the paper. The investigations were realized on a specially designed measuring stand. This stand makes it possible to actuate the selected disturbance factors. The influence of the voltage drop, temperature and strong magnetic field on the measurement accuracy of selected Watt-hour meters was described.

Opis:: The relationship between eternity and time has been a perennial issue in Johannine studies. Consider that the pre-existent Word of God enters in time and within concrete human history, thus bridging eternity and time. The evangelist describes both Jesus’ divinity as the Logos, existing in an eternal, timeless “beginning” (1:1), and Jesus’ true humanity as the historical person who was made “flesh” (1:14), taking on the human condition in all its fragility, in its temporality, suffering and death. His earthly mission was fulfilled “in time” – in a concrete “hour”. Reading the Fourth Gospel in this light may help us appreciate the Johannine understanding of eternity and time. This survey presents the various interpretations of the expression “in the beginning” and also of the time-related noun “hour”, used by the evangelist on certain occasions with detailed precision: “it was about the tenth hour” (1:39); “it was about the sixth hour” (4:6; 19:14); and “at the seventh hour” (4:52), referring always to a particular chronological point in time. However, this article does not place undue emphasis on the numbers recounting the particular hour, but rather tries to identify the links of each hour with the accompanying words and deeds of Jesus.
Relacja między wiecznością a czasem jest przedmiotem nieprzerwanych studiów Janowych. Odwieczne Słowo Boże wkracza bowiem w czas i w konkretną historię ludzkości, łącząc wieczność i czas. Ewangelista opisuje zarówno boskość Jezusa jako Słowa istniejącego w odwiecznym, ponadczasowym „początku” (1,1), jak i prawdziwe człowieczeństwo Jezusa jako postaci historycznej, która stała się „ciałem” (1,14), przyjmując na siebie ludzką kondycję w całej kruchości: w jej doczesności, cierpieniu i śmierci. Jego ziemska misja została wypełniona „w czasie” - w konkretnej „godzinie”. Czytanie Czwartej Ewangelii w tym świetle może więc uwydatnić Janowe rozumienie wieczności i czasu. Niniejsza publikacja przedstawia różne interpretacje wyrażenia „na początku” oraz związanego z czasem rzeczownika „godzina”, używanego przez ewangelistę przy pewnych okazjach: „Było to około dziesiątej godziny” (1,39); „było to około szóstej godziny” (4,6; 19,14); „o siódmej godzinie” (4,52), odnosząc się każdorazowo do chronologicznego, określonego punktu w czasie. Jednakże niniejszy artykuł nie ustala znaczenia liczb wskazujących daną godzinę. Jego celem jest uwypuklenie związków każdej godziny ze słowami i czynami Jezusa, ktore jej towarzyszą.

Opis:: Pojęcie „godzina próby w Czwartej Ewangelii” najczęściej kojarzy się z męką Pańską. Okazuje się, że jest to moment trudnego doświadczenia, jaki będą przeżywać także uczniowie Jezusa, zarówno podczas pojmania Mistrza (por. J 16,32), jak i później, gdy przyjdą prześladowania chrześcijan (por. J 16,2.4.21). Niniejszy artykuł prezentuje sześć typów postaw uczniów Jezusa opisanych w „Męce Pańskiej” (J 18–19), ale także – aby nie zaniedbać chrystologii – pokazuje, w jaki sposób stają się oni przy tej okazji „lustrem” dla objawienia Jezusa. Chrystus objawia się bowiem nie tylko za pośrednictwem własnych verba et facta, lecz czyni to także dzięki interakcji ze swymi uczniami lub w zestawieniu (σύγκρισις) własnej postawy z ich zachowaniem. W ten sposób stają się oni locus theologicus objawienia Jezusa. Godzina uczniów staje się więc okazją, w której objawienie Mistrza wybrzmiewa jeszcze dobitniej i w sposób bardziej zrozumiały.
The term “the hour of trial” in the Fourth Gospel is most often associated with the Passion of the Lord. The present work reminds us that Jesus’ disciples lived through and reacted to this difficult and pivotal experience as well, both during the arrest of the Master (cf. Jn 16:32) and later, when the persecution of Christians comes (cf. Jn 16:2.4.21). This article presents six types of attitudes exhibited by Jesus’ disciples as described in the Passion Narrative (Jn 18–19). In addition, from a Christological perspective, it demonstrates how the disciples’ various responses become a “mirror” for Jesus’ own revelation on this occasion. Christ gives his revelation not only through his own verba et facta, but also through interaction with his disciples, or in the juxtaposition (σύγκρισις) of his own attitude with their behavior. In this way, they become the locus theologicus of Jesus’ revelation. Thus the hour of the disciples becomes an occasion in which the revelation of the Master resounds even more forcefully and in a more understandable way.

Opis:: The article was based on letters written by listeners, Polish immigrants, to “The Rosary Hour” – the world’s oldest Catholic radio program in Polish in the United States and Canada. The publication shows the dire influence of alcohol on the mental, moral and material life of families. The listeners wrote, among others, about the problem of alcohol abuse by fathers, mothers or both parents. On the basis of correspondence, one can imagine their homes being miserable places where insults, curses and child abuse reign supreme. Drunkenness is the cause of aggression towards wives, husbands and children and can further cause anxiety, uncertainty, hatred, mental breakdown, divorce and material poverty. Fr. Justin Figas, in his instructions, indicated how to overcome the addiction of drunkenness. He called for prayer, fasting and the vow of sobriety. He advised to seek help from the parish priest, report alcoholism to the police and to refer the compulsive drunkard for compulsory treatment. The priest’s indications and catechesis were effective: they changed the alcoholic and motivated them to live in sobriety.

Opisano szczegółowo poszczególne elementy tego stanowiska wraz z wynikami wzorcowania.
The paper presents a method for evaluating the accuracy of indications of the direct current Watt-hour meters in a designed and constructed measuring system. Such a system is composed of two multi-function calibrators, and a specialized high-voltage attachment designed for the needs of this system, which makes it possible to generate direct voltages in a required range up to 4 kV with suitable high precision. The values of voltages supplying the Watt-meter extorted a suitable configuration of the equipment on the constructed measuring system, which guarantees proper galvanic separation of particular components of the measuring system as well as its safe operation. Both calibrators with specialised high-voltage attachment, dedicated for the measuring system, were calibrated in order to evaluate the whole system accuracy. The calibration results, together with the determined value of the expanded uncertainty, were included in the calibration certificate. The authors described in detail particular elements of the measuring system together with the results of its calibration. The measuring system was constructed at the Electrical Quantities Measurement Laboratory, Regional Verification Office in Poznań. The function of direct current Watt-hour meters is the measurement of power and electrical energy in circuits of direct current supply in a railway traction network 3.3 kV. The measurement results were completed with a presentation of uncertainty budgets.

Opis:: The global coronavirus pandemic and the effects of the COVID-19 disease have had an unprecedentedly significant impact on social behaviour and the global economy. The effects of the epidemic and the resulting restrictions will effect world markets for a long time, in almost every economic sector. The article presents the results of a preliminary analysis of how the pandemic influenced the functioning of the vehicle maintenance sector, using authorized service station (ASO) as an example. As part of the research, a comprehensive analysis of costs and work performance indicators was conducted and the results obtained in 2019, before the pandemic and in 2020 were compared. Additionally, an estimated forecast for the following years was made. The practical effect of the study is to present the extent to which the impact of the environment, an extremely unpredictable factor that has not yet occurred on such a scale in the global economy, affects the balance of costs and the efficiency of ASO work.
Globalna pandemia koronawirusa oraz skutki choroby COVID-19 w sposób niespotykanie znaczący wpłynęło na zachowania społeczne i gospodarkę światową. Skutki epidemii i wynikających z nich obostrzeń jeszcze bardzo długo będą odczuwalne na rynkach światowych, niemal w każdym sektorze gospodarczym. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki wstępnej analizy jak wpłynęła pandemia na funkcjonowanie sektora obsług pojazdów, na przykładzie autoryzowanej stacji obsługi (ASO). W ramach badań przeprowadzono kompleksową analiza kosztów i wskaźników efektywności pracy oraz porównano uzyskane wyniki w roku 2019, przed pandemicznym i roku 2020. Dodatkowo przeprowadzono szacunkową prognozę na kolejne lata. Praktycznym efektem opracowania jest przedstawienie w jakim znacznym stopniu oddziaływanie otoczenia, skrajnie nieprzewidywalnego czynnika, który do tej pory nie wystąpił na taką skalę w gospodarce światowej, wpływa na bilans kosztów i efektywność pracy ASO.

Przeżycie epifaniczne przemiany nocy w dzień ujęte w poetyckie ramy medytacji poetyckiej oraz hymnicznego zachwytu spotyka się z wariantem awangardowym - aktywistycznym, z pełnymi poetyckiej dynamiki obrazami odnowionego wspólnego działania. Te paradygmaty oświetlają wiersz Wczesna godzina Wisławy Szymborskiej, przy czym jej powściągliwa refleksja o odnowionym ludzkim istnieniu bliska jest możliwości pierwszej. Autor wskazuje korespondencje utworu polskiej noblistki z wierszami nowoczesnych poetów francuskich, wydobywając uprzywilejowaną pozycję walki z nicością i nocą, pragnienia zmiany, odnowienia wrażliwości oraz – metafizycznego zdumienia. Odczytywany utwór rzutowany jest na tło wyróżniających poezję Szymborskiej tematów i założeń filozoficznych, takich jak fascynacja cudownością istnienia, namysł nad ograniczeniami ludzkiego poznania, służące kreacji świata gry poetyckie czy skomplikowane relacje miedzy tym, co realne, a tym, co wyobrażone. W interpretacji wiersza Wczesna godzina do najważniejszych wątków rozważań należą relacje między postrzeganiem a przeoczeniem, ukazanie metamorfoz nocy i dnia, które pozwalają zrozumieć zamysł odnowy egzystencji, ujęcie artystyczne wydobywanych z mroku przedmiotów posiłkujące się spojrzeniem malarskim oraz nawiązanie do Księgi Genezis w kameralnym stwarzaniu świata – na miarę ludzkiej wyobraźni. Wisława Szymborska w swym studium poranka przyjmuje postawę analityczną i autokrytyczną.
L’opera si proietta sullo sfondo dei temi e dei presupposti filosofici che contraddistinguono la poesia di Szymborska, come il fascino per la meraviglia dell’esistenza, la riflessione sui limiti della cognizione umana, i giochi poetici che servono a creare il mondo, o le complicate relazioni tra ciò che è reale e ciò che è immaginato. Nell’interpretazione della poesia Ora Mattutina, i temi di riflessione più importanti includono il rapporto tra percezione e omissione, la presentazione delle metamorfosi della notte e del giorno, che permettono di comprendere l’intenzione di rinnovare l’esistenza, l’approccio artistico agli oggetti portati fuori dall’oscurità lo sguardo pittorico, e il riferimento al Libro della Genesi nell’intima creazione del mondo – a misura dell’immaginazione umana. Nel suo studio del mattino, Wisława Szymborska prende una posizione analitica e autocritica.
The read-out piece is projected against the background of Szymborska’s distinctive themes and philosophical assumptions, such as the fascination with the wonder of existence, reflection on the limits of human cognition, poetic games serving the creation of the world, or the complicated relations between what is real and what is imagined. In the interpretation of the poem Early Hour, the most important themes of considerations include the relationship between perception and overlooking, showing the metamorphoses of night and day, which allow us to understand the idea of renewing existence, an artistic approach to objects extracted from the darkness, using the painterly gaze, and a reference to the “Book of Genesis” in the intimate creation of the world – measure up to human imagination. Wisława Szymborska adopts an analytical and autocritical approach in her study of the morning.

Opis:: The article deals with an exegetical misunderstanding revolving around the purported existence of two different ways of reckoning the hours of the day in antiquity, and consequently in the Gospels: an alleged Roman mode (in John’s Gospel) and the Jewish one (in the Synoptics). Among Johannine scholars a disagreement exists over the issue of which system was embraced by the Evangelist. While the majority claim that John followed the known Jewish system of reckoning hours, a minority argue that another, distinctively Roman system was being employed in the FG. In its first part, the article reviews extrabiblical ancient literature to demonstrate that, while the Romans in fact had two systems of marking the beginning of the day (dies civilis, legitimus – starting at midnight, and dies naturalis, verus – starting at sunrise), the manner of reckoning the hours of the day (and the night) was precisely the same for the Romans as for the Jews. In the second part, both systems are applied to four specific Johannine references to the hours of the day (1:39; 4:6; 4:52; and 19:14) in order to assess which method of reckoning the hours better suits the literary context of each narrative. While this internal analysis of the Johannine text is inconclusive, our assessment of the external, extrabiblical evidence points to the conclusion that the ancients, including John the Evangelist, used only one, nearly universal manner of reckoning the hours, i.e. beginning from sunrise.

Opis:: Nadciśnienie tętnicze jest jednym z najważniejszych modyfikowalnych czynników ryzyka sercowo-naczyniowego. W 2021 r. zostało wydane stanowisko ekspertów Europejskiego Towarzystwa Nadciśnienia Tętniczego (ESH) dotyczące właściwego wykonywania pomiarów ciśnienia tętniczego w gabinetach lekarskich, samodzielnych pomiarów wykonywanych przez pacjentów w domu, 24-godzinnego monitorowania ciśnienia (ABPM), a także pomiarów w miejscach publicznych. Stosowanie ABPM pozwala na wielokrotne odczyty ciśnienia tętniczego poza gabinetem lekarza, w zwykłym otoczeniu pacjenta. Pomiary ciśnienia tętniczego wykonywane są podczas rutynowych czynności w ciągu dnia i podczas snu, w nocy. Jest to nieosiągalne w przypadku innych metod pomiaru ciśnień. Wykonanie ABPM pozwala postawić rozpoznanie tzw. nadciśnienia tętniczego białego fartucha i nadciśnienia tętniczego maskowanego. Może zostać określona kontrola ciśnienia tętniczego w ciągu całej doby i w pełni oceniona efektywność stosowanej terapii hipotensyjnej. Pomiary ABPM są w wielu wytycznych określane jako najlepsza metoda diagnozowania nadciśnienia tętniczego.
Hypertension is one of the most important modifiable cardiovascular risk factors. In 2021, an expert position statement from the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) was issued regarding the appropriate use of blood pressure (BP) measurements both in physicians' offices, at home, 24-hour BP monitoring (ABPM), and BP measurements in public places. The use of ABPM allows for multiple BP readings to be taken outside of a physician's office in a person's usual environment. BP measurements are taken during routine activities of the day and during sleep, at night, which is not possible with other BP measurement methods. Performing ABPM allows the diagnosis of so-called white coat hypertension and masked hypertension to be made. BP control throughout the day can be determined and the effect of hypotensive therapy can be fully evaluated. ABPM measurements are recommended in many guidelines as the best method for diagnosing hypertension.
