W artykule podjęta jest próba zdiagnozowania współczesnego ususu ortograficznego w zakresie pisowni nazwy święta Wszystkich Świętych w języku polskim. Przestawione zostały dane pochodzące z tekstów gazet, czasopism, środków masowego przekazu, głównych portali informacyjnych, internetowych stron jednostek administracji publicznej, instytucji państwowych, instytucji edukacyjnych, wydawnictw naukowych, z internetowych stron katolickich, a także dane korpusowe oraz ankietowe. Świadczą one o tym, że współczesny uzus w zakresie pisowni nazwy święta jest rozchwiany, co może świadczyć o rodzeniu się alternatywnych nazw święta Wszystkich Świętych.
The article attempts to diagnose the contemporary spelling usus in relation to the Polish name of holiday Wszystkich Świętych. Data from the texts of newspapers, magazines, mass media, main information portals, websites of public administration units, state institutions, educational institutions, scientific publications, Catholic websites, as well as corpus and questionnaire data are presented. They testify to the fact that the contemporary usage of the spelling of the name is unstable, which may indicate the birth of alternative names for the holiday.

In all religions festival is an important part of worship: by certain rites provided on certain days, usually in an atmosphere of joy, cultic congregation pays homage to, gives thanks and asks for the grace of God. For the Israelite holidays are a special memento (reminder) of the events of the past that are realized also in the present and expect their fill in the future. Pentateuch has several calendars holidays, which were defined Israel’s celebration of major holidays. Looking at the holiday calendars from the Book of Exodus, Book of Leviticus, Book of Numbers, and the Book of Deuteronomy, we pay attention to the development of provisions for the holidays. Initially, the rules are very general boil down to a few verses, which have been determined the most important celebration of, without giving a specific date holidays. Date saint appeared only in the calendar Leviticus. With the development of legislation and with the settlement of the Chosen People in the Promised Land, rules for particular holidays underwent concretized and more accurate determination of sacrifices in the celebration of certain holidays.

Artykuł dotyczy różnych aspektów życia religijnego i praktyk religijnych we współczesnej gminie żydowskiej we Wrocławiu, odnosząc się jednocześnie do zmian, jakie następowały w tej sferze od momentu powstania powojennej gminy wrocławskiej. Wskazuje na podstawy prawne istnienia i prowadzenia działalności religijnej przez gminy żydowskie, na identyfikację religijną gminy wrocławskiej oraz tworzącej ją społeczności. Podkreśla rolę rabina w procesie odradzania się żydowskiego życia religijnego we Wrocławiu i integrowania członków gminy. Odnosi się m.in. do cotygodniowych i dorocznych świąt religijnych celebrowanych w gminie, specyfiki sprawowanej liturgii i odmawianych modlitw, stosunku do reguł kaszrutu czy religijnych obrzędów praktykowanych przez członków wspólnoty. Zwraca uwagę na zjawisko powrotów do judaizmu, w dużej mierze osób młodych, poprzez obrzęd konwersji, ale jednocześnie także na proces zastępowania wiedzy religijnej przez poczucie wspólnoty.
The article relates to various aspects of religious life and religious practice in the Wroclaw Jewish Community, refering also to the changes which took place in this area since its inception after war. Indicates a legal basis for the existence and conduct religious activities by Jewish Communities, and discusses the religious identification of the Wroclaw Jewish Community and people her forming. Emphasizes the role of the rabbi in the rebirth process of Jewish religious life in Wroclaw and integrating members of the community. It refers to the weekly and annual religious festivals celebrated in the Community, to the specifics of the liturgy and prayers, and to the attitude to the rules of kashrut and to the practiced religious rituals by Community members. The paper draws attention both to the phenomenon of return to Judaism through the rite of conversion, largely by young people, and on the process of substitution of religious knowledge by the sense of community.

The occurrence of negative phenomena over the past two years: the Covid-19 pandemic, the temporary disruption of supply chains, the war in Ukraine and the energy crisis has affected many aspects of the global economy, including the rise in inflation and interest rates. All borrowers, including more than two million households in Poland repaying home loans, have been affected by these changes - most notably visible in the dynamic increase in lending rates. In order to help borrowers repay the instalments of such loans granted in zloty, the Legislator introduced legislation in July 2022 allowing for the use of „credit holidays”. The purpose of this article is to present the results of a study carried out on the basis of sample home loans - the impact of the introduction of „credit holidays” on the level of loan principal and instalments, assuming that all the money saved from the suspension of instalments is used to overpay the loan.

Energiczny rozwój sektora usług turystycznych spowodował ogromny wzrost zainteresowania problematyką odpowiedzialności cywilnoprawnej organizatorów imprez turystycznych w stosunku do osób korzystających z tego rodzaju usług. Istotą w niniejszej kwestii pozostaje odpowiedzialność organizatora turystyki za niewykonanie bądź nienależyte wykonanie umowy o świadczenie usług turystycznych oraz to co leży u podstawy jego odpowiedzialności. Kontrowersyjna pozostaje jednak kwestia utraty przyjemności wypoczynku jako postaci szkody skutkujące tzw. zmarnowanym urlopem. Kwestią o zasadniczym znaczeniu jest działanie (zaniechanie) organizatora turystyki, co w następstwie powoduje zmarnowany urlop, który może jednocześnie stanowić naruszenie jakiegoś dobra osobistego wymienionego w art. 23 Kodeksu cywilnego. Aspektem, który wymaga również uwagi jest obecnie obowiązująca dyrektywa Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady (UE) 2015/2302 z dnia 25 listopada 2015 r. w sprawie imprez turystycznych i powiązanych usług turystycznych, zmieniająca rozporządzenie (WE) nr 2006/2004 i dyrektywę Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady 2011/83/UE oraz uchylająca dyrektywę Rady 90/314/EWG, a co za tym idzie uchylenia przepisów ustawy z dnia 29 sierpnia 1997 r. o usługach turystycznych, dotyczących organizatorów turystyki, pośredników turystycznych oraz agentów turystycznych.
The dynamic development of the tourist services sector has caused a huge increase in interest in issues of civil liability of tour events in relation to people using this type of services. The responsibility of the tour organizer for non-performance or improper performance of the contract for the provision of tourist services and what lies at the basis of its responsibility remains the essence of the matter. However, the controversial issue is the loss of leisure pleasure as a form of damage resulting in the so-called wasted holiday. It is essential to act (abandon) the organizer of tourism, which in turn causes wasted holiday, which may also constitute a violation of some personal rights referred to in art. 23 of the Polish Civil Code. An aspect that also requires attention is Directive (EU) 2015/2302 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2015 on package travel and linked travel arrangements, amending Regulation (EC) No 2006/2004 and Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council and repealing Council Directive 90/314/EEC and thus the repeal of the provisions of the Act of August 29, 1997 on tourist services, concerning tourism organizers, travel agents and tourist agents.

Opis:
The President of the Lewiatan Confederation applied to the Constitutional Tribunal to evaluate certain provisions of the act, stating that these provisions provide for a differentiation of employees as to their freedom to work during certain days, what violates the following constitutional principles: the principle of labour protection, the principle of freedom to work, the principle of equality and the principle of proportionality. In the draft Sejm’s position it was concluded, that these provisions conform to the Constitution. The introduction of diversification of commercial entities is related to the objective pursued by the legislator in this act, which is to ensure a rest day being conducive to the health and safety of employees. The constitutionality of the above solution is supported by the fact, that the legislator limited the group of exclusions to a catalogue of entities whose activity on Sundays and public holidays is rationally justified by social needs.

Poezja patriotyczna sięgająca do historii wskazuje relacje pomiędzy wydarzeniami z przeszłości a współczesnością, interpretując je zarazem. Rolę tę wypełniała twórczość środowiska poetyckiego działającego w 2 Korpusie Polskim, w okresie II wojny i pierwszych latach powojennych. Podejmowała ona wątki oparte na wojennych przeżyciach i doświadczeniach poetów: zesłańczych, tułaczych i typowo żołnierskich, wpisując je w tradycję literacką i doświadczenia poprzednich pokoleń walczących o niepodległość.
Patriotic poetry referring to history indicates the relationship between events from the past and the present, and at the same time interprets them. This role was fulfilled by the literary works of the poetic group formed within the Second Polish Corps during World War II and the first post-war years. The group took up topics based on the war experiences of the of poets, such as exile, wandering and soldiery life, inscribing them into the literary tradition and experiences of earlier generations fighting for independence.

Opis:
The Vladimir Lenin Steelworks and other state-owned enterprises in Nowa Huta, the eastern district of Cracow, ran a number of holiday centres all over Poland and encouraged their staff to spend their leave in those places with their family members and colleagues. This form of organized leisure was also promoted by the press. So for example Głos Nowej Huty, a weekly issued by the Workers’ Council of the VL Steelworks, published articles showing the attractions and, occasionally, problems of individual holiday homes. At the same time readers were encouraged to file in their application in good time. The publicity contributed to the success of this type of organized leisure — the number of people who took up this offer increased year on year throughout that period.
Huta im. Lenina i inne zakłady zlokalizowane w dzielnicy oferowały wypoczynek w licznych zakładowych ośrodkach wczasowych całego kraju. Można tam było spędzać czas w gronie rodziny i znajomych. Pracownicy byli zachęcani do korzystania z oferty wypoczynku także za pomocą prasy. „Głos Nowej Huty” — Tygodnik Samorządu Pracowniczego HiL, przypominał o konieczności złożenia stosownych dokumentów, prezentował reportaże z pobytu w tych ośrodkach — opisując atrakcje czekające na wypoczywających, ale także wskazując na zanied-bania. Nowohucianie dość szybko przekonali się do tego sposobu spędzania urlopu i liczba wczasowiczów z roku na rok rosła.

The aim of the present paper is to thoroughly reconstruct the meaning of the official cult ceremonies for the social life of the Roman Imperial army. Crucial to the analysis is the evidence produced by the Feriale Duranum, a papyrus document dating to the reign of Severus Alexander, but supported also by other sources. The matter of loyalty to the state and ruler is characteristic of most military ceremonies. Hierarchy and social order are emphasised as well, all four being values important for the military ideology. Participation in the same rites influenced the morale and esprit de corps not only in a particular unit, but also within the whole army. Therefore one can view the rites as an expression of a military identity, serving also to distinguish the soldiers as a separate social group. The official holidays were also of importance for the private life of a soldier, being one of few occasions when exemption from work and free time were granted. This made such ceremonies a welcome break from camp routine. As such, the official military religious rites were vital for the social life of both individual soldiers and military communities, be it units or even the whole army.

The contemporary geopolitical changes, especially after the collapse of bipolar world distinction, are characterized by socio-political changes in many countries of different continents. One such country which pace of changes, especially in the socio-political area, is especially visible and draws attention from throughout the world is Rwanda. To comprehend changes in the political awareness of Rwandans one needs to understand a role played in this transposition by political rituals, especially national holidays. The aim of the article is to determine to what extent the ritual nature of national holidays celebrations in Rwanda influence the society, especially in the context of traumatic events of 2004 and how politicians use these celebrations for the realization of current political goals.

The successive totalization of social, economic and political life in Poland after 1944 was also reflected in the press published by officially functioning political parties. The analysis of articles shows that the repressions against the editorials, after the elections, led to the pacification of the press and the unification of the content with the expectations of the post-war Polish authorities. Press reactions can be placed between opportunism and pragmatism. In the second case it was about maintaining even minimal impact on society. Some journalists, symbolized by Zygmunt Augustyński, defended the right to communicate truth and dignity.
Sukcesywna totalizacja życia społecznego, gospodarczego i politycznego w Polsce po 1944 znalazła również odzwierciedlenie w prasie wydawanej przez oficjalnie funkcjonujące partie polityczne. Analiza artykułów wskazuje, że represje stosowane wobec redakcji, po wyborach doprowadziły do spacyfikowania prasy i ujednolicenia treści zgodnie z oczekiwaniami władz powojennej Polski. Reakcje prasy można usytuować miedzy koniunkturalizmem a pragmatyzmem, w drugim wypadku chodziło o zachowanie możliwości chociażby minimalnego wpływu na społeczeństwo. Niektórzy dziennikarze, których postawę symbolizuje Zygmunt Augustyński, broniło prawa do przekazywania prawdy i godności.

Summary: The article places the contemporary anthropological, ethnological and culturological research of state holidays in Slovenia within the disciplinary tradition of Slovenian holiday research and the broader frame of issues related to political rituals. Up until the past few decades, holidays as celebrated in the Slovenian lands had been a parade of ethnological/folklorist subjects framed within the context of folk culture research. It is thus not surprising that folk holidays were put at the forefront of examination, thematised from the perspective of a relatively static concept of tradition. The rapid political, economic and social change characteristic of the period after the Second World War was reflected not only in the transformed holiday landscapes, but also in a reconfiguration of the research horizons. These are presented through the findings concerning state holidays that resulted from a recent research project on the Slovenian holidays and constitution of national community.

Opis:
Der Hofmannsthalkenner und -verehrer Walter Kappacher hat für seinen Roman Der Fliegenpalast (2009) auf seine fundierten Kenntnisse des Hofmannsthalschen OEuvres zurückgegriffen und umfangreiche Recherchen zum Autor und zu seiner Zeit angestellt. Daraus entstand ein dichtes Geflecht von intertextuellen Bezügen sowohl zu Werken von Hofmannsthal als auch zu dessen Lektüre, in das Kappacher ein breites kultur- und sozialgeschichtliches Panorama der ersten Jahrzehnte des vergangenen Jahrhunderts in Österreich verwob. Die Analyse der Konstruktion dieser scheinbar so selbstverständlich österreichischen Referenzen belegt, dass der Roman nur im Kontext der österreichischen Historie, sowie der österreichischen Literatur- und Kulturgeschichte adäquat analysiert und interpretiert werden kann.
In his novel Der Fliegenpalast, Walter Kappacher, an expert on and admirer of Hugo von Hofmannsthal, drew on his profound knowledge of Hofmannsthal’s work, as well as researching extensively on the author and his time. This resulted in a dense fabric of intertextual references to both Hofmannsthal’s work and his reading. Interwoven with this biographical narration is a broad socio-historic panorama of the first decades of the 20th century in Austria. An analysis of the construction of seemingly self-evident Austrian references proves that this novel can only be adequately analyzed and interpreted in the context of Austrian political as well as literary and cultural history.

Głównym celem artykułu była identyfikacja zmian w procesie podejmowania decyzji zakupu przez nabywców pakietów wakacyjnych pod wpływem pandemii wirusa COVID-19. Do jego osiągnięcia przeprowadzono kwerendę literatury naukowej, a także badania nabywców usług turystycznych (N =1502) dotyczące problematyki realizowania podróży przed pandemią oraz w czasie jej trwania. Dane zostały zgromadzone techniką sondażu pośredniego, tj. Computer Assited Web Interview (CAWI), a do ich analizy posłużyły metody statystyki opisowej. Uzyskane wyniki pozwoliły na pozyskanie nowej wiedzy na temat wzorców zachowań nabywców spakietyzowanych podróży turystycznych oraz wyróżnienie czterech segmentów rynku imprez turystycznych. Najliczniej reprezentowane w badaniu kategorie zachowań nabywców (łącznie blisko 95% przed pandemią i nieco ponad 92% wskazań w jej trakcie) potwierdzają rolę Internetu w procesach dokonywania zakupów przez klientów biur podróży oraz tendencję postępującej wirtualizacji zachowań nabywców na rynku turystycznym. W trakcie trwania pandemii COVID-19 w przypadku zakupu zorganizowanych imprez turystycznych zaobserwowano, iż zdecydowanie rzadziej niż przed jej wystąpieniem nabywcy zorganizowanych pakietów przenoszą do sieci cały proces zakupowy, a więc zarówno poszukują informacji na temat ofert biur podróży, jak i dokonują zakupów w Internecie.
The main aim of the article was to identify changes in the purchasing decision-making process of holiday package buyers as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. A query of the scientific literature was carried out, as well as research on the buyers of tourist services (N = 1502) on the issues of travel before and during the pandemic was conducted. The data was collected using the indirect survey technique, i.e. computer assisted web interview (CAWI), and the methods of descriptive statistics were used for their analysis. The obtained results made it possible to acquire new knowledge about the behaviour patterns of buyers of packaged holidays and to distinguish four segments of the tourists. The categories of buyers’ behaviour most frequently represented in the study (in total almost 95% before and slightly over 92% of indications during the pandemic) confirm the role of the Internet in the purchasing processes of travel agencies customers and the tendency of progressive virtualization of buyers’ behaviour in the tourist market. During the COVID-19 pandemic, in the case of the purchase of holiday packages, it was observed that the buyers transfer the entire purchasing process to the Internet much less frequently than before its occurrence, i.e. they both look for information about travel agencies offers and make purchases on the Internet.
