    Opis:
    The model of educating lawyers, just as the model of university itself, undergoes constant changes. The search of new lawyer teaching paradigms seems to be a necessity on the one hand, but on the other one – it may be an opportunity to give a satisfying answer to all expectations from both higher education system as well as students. Exploitation of the potential of human creativity based on knowledge, because of the amount of external stimuli, requires the use of tools which allow its arranging. One of the techniques which may be of use here is mindmapping, since its basic purposes are: selection, arranging and remembering information, as well as supporting creative skills. Taking above into consideration, the aim of this article is both to make an attempt to show the mindmapping itself as well as to draw the reader’s attention to the opportunities given by using this technique in the teaching of law as well as the history of political-legal doctrines in particular. The article’s main part deals with the hypothesis based on the assumption that one of the elements of new legal education paradigms may be application of mind maps which allow not only increasing the attractiveness but, what is even more important – raise the effectiveness of teaching of law. Moreover, the ability to create and then to use mind maps can be a favourable factor in education of the so-called “soft skills”, such as: creativity, choice and selection of information, managing oneself at work or team work. To illustrate the contents, the author presents examples of his mind maps created with the use of specialized licensed software iMindMap.

    Opis:
    The aim of this article is to present and analyse those aspects of university teaching which are closely connected with the use in didactics of the tools that originated along with the development of electronic media. As an example of the content of this article, there are presentations and analysis of the surveys carried out especially to that matter. Postulated polimethodology in the realisation of the teaching of the history of political-legal doctrines may create a chance to once again present the usefulness of history subjects in the process of the teaching of future lawyers. To avoid treating e-learning only as a way to increase the attractiveness of the classes, one should treat it as a backup mechanism in traditional teaching process. A process which should still be based on direct contact between the university teachers and the students.
    Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie i analiza tych aspektów kształcenia akademickiego, które są związane z wykorzystywaniem w dydaktyce narzędzi, jakie pojawiły się wraz z rozwojem mediów elektronicznych. Dla przykładowego zobrazowania przedmiotowych treści zaprezentowano i przeanalizowano także wyniki przeprowadzonych specjalnie w tym celu badań ankietowych studentów. Postulowana polimetodyczność w realizacji dydaktyki historii doktryn polityczno-prawnych może stanowić szansę na ponowne ukazanie przydatności przedmiotów historycznych w procesie kształcenia przyszłych prawników. Wystrzegając się traktowania e-learningu jedynie jako sposobu na podniesienie atrakcyjności prowadzonych zajęć, należy traktować go jako mechanizm wspomagający tradycyjny proces kształcenia. Proces, który powinien być oparty na bezpośrednim kontakcie nauczycieli akademickich ze studentami.

    From the perspective of the history of political and legal doctrines, the dichotomous way of looking at actuality through the prism of the struggle between realism and idealism is one of the classical approaches to social sciences. The basic source of knowledge for the political realism idea is the achievements of politicians, historians and philosophers, who are often at the same time creators of political and legal thought. In the research on political realism, however, one should, based on subsidiarity, also use the message found in the rhetorical speeches, recorded and preserved until today. Taking these reservations into account, the subject of the article is to analyze – in a rhetorical perspective – the classical political realism, with the simultaneous narrowing of the research field to international relations. The subject of the analysis are selected ancient Greek rhetorical speeches by authors such as Cleon, Diodotus, Pericles, Demosthenes, Andocides, Isocrates and Lysias.
    Z perspektywy historii doktryn polityczno-prawnych dychotomiczny sposób spojrzenia na rzeczywistość przez pryzmat zmagań między realizmem a idealizmem stanowi jedno z klasycznych ujęć nauk społecznych. Podstawowym źródłem poznania idei realizmu politycznego jest dorobek polityków, historyków czy filozofów, którzy często znajdują się jednocześnie w gronie twórców myśli polityczno-prawnej. W badaniach nad realizmem politycznym należy jednak, na zasadzie subsydiarności, korzystać także z przekazu znajdującego się w utrwalonych i zachowanych do dzisiaj mowach retorycznych. Uwzględniając te zastrzeżenia, przedmiotem artykułu jest analiza – w retorycznej optyce – klasycznego realizmu politycznego, z jednoczesnym zawężeniem pola badawczego do stosunków międzynarodowych. Przedmiotem analizy są wybrane starożytne greckie mowy retoryczne takich autorów, jak Kleon, Diodotos, Perykles, Demostenes, Andokides, Izokrates i Lizjasz.
