The article reveals the importance of creativity in achieving psychological well-being in teachers of higher educational institutions and substantiates the feasibility of its study. Psychological well-being is considered as an important indicator in people’s lives, their desire for the development of personal potential, the formation of positive relationships, and productive creative activity for the benefit of society. The role of creativity in achieving the psychological well-being of a person as a unique creative ability, an important condition for human life, is substantiated. It affects self-acceptance, personal growth, creativity, among others. Creativity indicators (curiosity, creative opportunities, self-confidence, stability and persuasiveness, the desire to be an independent person, the ability to cope, etc.), affecting the psychological well-being of teachers of higher educational institutions, their satisfaction with life, work and themselves are investigated. It was established that the level of creativity is insufficient and that teachers for training specialists in social work have lower indicators than teachers of a foreign language. It is shown that creativity is a factor in psychological well-being and affects the formation of relationships with others, the purposefulness and meaningfulness of life, self-acceptance, personal growth, and the like. Statistically significant differences were found in terms of creativity and psychological well-being of the teachers who were studied depending on gender.

The authors present the results of research carried out in 2017/2018 academic year and compare them with the results obtained in 1999/2000 academic year. The aim of the study was to find out the changes in students’ motivation for learning English as a second language in general and changes in hierarchy of motives which have a strong positive effect on learning English as a second language from diachronic point of view. The methods of mathematical statistics and computer data processing as well as discursive reflection for making conclusions were used in the research. 97 Law, Economics and Agro-ecology students of National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine completed a questionnaire for collecting data and evaluating motives. The results of the research have shed light on motives and motivation of present-day Law, Economics and Agro- -ecology students who learn English as a second language at higher educational institution.

The Ukrainian airlines’ fleet consists of civil aircrafts, 80 percents of which are manufactured abroad, in particular in the United States of America and in Western Europe. That is why it requires training of aviation specialists who perform maintenance operations of foreign and national modern aircrafts in accordance with the international standards. The authors present the results of research carried out in the 2017/2018 academic year among foreign languages teachers at eight higher education institutions. The aim of the study was to find out the connection between the participation activity rate of foreign languages teachers in specially focused network pedagogical communities and the level of professional self-realization through their self-efficacy. We used methods of mathematical statistics, computer data processing and discursive reflextion for drawing logical conclusions from experimental data. 267 foreign languages teachers from Ukrainian universities participated in the first stage of research. During the second stage, 108 selected foreign languages teachers completed a questionnaire for collecting data and evaluating the level of their self-efficacy. Results indicate a significant difference in the professional self-realization levels among the members and non-members of specially focused network communities and confirm the suggested hypothesis.

The article deals with the main forms and methods of communicative skills development used in the process of professional self-improvement during non-auditing activities at higher educational institution. In the process of person’s professional self-improvement, they play an important role in education obtaining and further work activity. By studying the process of professional self-improvement of modern students at higher educational institutions, the issue of communicative skills development in out-of-audit activity is of great importance. Purpose. The purpose of this article is to study the process of communicative skills development in students involved into non-auditing activities at higher educational institution. Methods. In the process of research, the following methods have been used, which allowed analyzing the purpose of this article and to reach certain conclusions for further research: general scientific methods, by means of which the available literature has been analyzed, the analysis, systematization of the material have been carried out; such methods as conversation, observation, interviewing have allowed investigating the problem situation more deeply. Results. The development of communicative skills of students in non-auditing activities is an important factor that should be given more attention to in the process of professional self-improvement during non-auditing activities at a higher educational institution. The article presents the experience of non-auditing activities of higher pedagogical institutions, which promotes the development of communicative skills of students of higher pedagogical educational institutions. The development of communicative skills in students is an integral part of a holistic process of forming communicative competence. After all, the development of communicative sphere in a person who, on the basis of the specifics of his activity, constantly interacts and communicates with other people is almost the main aspect that ensures the effectiveness of its work.

Corporate brand identity brings businesses within the marketplace into the limelight by making the organisations appealing to investors, stimulating the distinctiveness of the services and products from other competitors, and ensuring continuous relevance in the corporate world. As a result, many organisations strive for a distinct and identifiable identity. This study investigates the effects of corporate brand identity on service quality in selected higher educational institutions. It explores the possible effects of online marketing on service quality and determines the influence of corporate visual identity on brand performance. A federal and a private university in Nigeria have been selected for this study and 356 copies of questionnaire are administered randomly to members of faculty and staff of these universities. 334 copies of the questionnaire are valid at 93.82% response rate, and these are used for the analysis. The findings indicate that the top management of organisations should ensure the adoption of corporate brand identity management for resilience in their performance.
Tożsamość marki korporacyjnej stawia firmy na rynku w centrum uwagi, czyniąc organizacje atrakcyjnymi dla inwestorów, stymulując wyróżniające się usługi i produkty od innych konkurentów oraz zapewniając ciągłe znaczenie w świecie korporacyjnym. W rezultacie wiele organizacji dąży do wyraźnej i możliwej do zidentyfikowania tożsamości. Niniejsze badanie bada wpływ tożsamości marki korporacyjnej na jakość usług w wybranych szkołach wyższych. Bada możliwy wpływ marketingu internetowego na jakość usług i określa wpływ tożsamości wizualnej firmy na wyniki marki. Do tego badania wybrano federalny i prywatny uniwersytet w Nigerii, a 356 kopii kwestionariusza jest losowo podawanych członkom wykładowców i pracownikom tych uniwersytetów. 334 egzemplarze kwestionariusza są ważne przy wskaźniku odpowiedzi 93,82% i są one wykorzystywane do analizy. Ustalenia wskazują, że najwyższe kierownictwo organizacji powinno zapewnić przyjęcie zarządzania tożsamością marki korporacyjnej w celu zapewnienia odporności ich wyników.

The relationship between TQM practices and organizational commitment has been widely discussed in the industrial domain, particularly in developed countries. Less attention has been given to the educational field such as higher education institutions, particularly in less developed countries. This study aims to fill this gap by investigating the relationship between the implementation of TQM practices and organizational commitment in higher educational institutions of Qatar. The data have been collected using a self-reported questionnaire distributed to all academic and administrative staff. 170 useable questionnaires were collected with a response rate of 43%. Exploratory factor analysis was applied and resulted in four dimensions of TQM and two dimensions of organizational commitment. These dimensions were confirmed using confirmatory factor analysis using AMOS. SEM was applied to the data. The results show that the implementation of TQM practices will improve the dimensions of organizational commitment. However, not all TQM practices are positive contributors to organizational commitment. Leadership, vision and stakeholders focus do not contribute positively to the organizational commitment. The limitations and recommendation for future studies were also discussed.
Związek między praktykami TQM a zaangażowaniem organizacyjnym był szeroko dyskutowany w dziedzinie przemysłu, szczególnie w krajach rozwiniętych. Mniej uwagi poświęcono dziedzinie edukacji, takiej jak instytucje szkolnictwa wyższego, zwłaszcza w krajach słabiej rozwiniętych. Niniejsze badanie ma na celu wypełnienie tej luki poprzez zbadanie związku między wdrażaniem praktyk TQM a zaangażowaniem organizacyjnym w instytucjach szkolnictwa wyższego w Katarze. Dane zostały zebrane za pomocą kwestionariusza, który został przesłany do wszystkich pracowników naukowych i administracyjnych. Zebrano 170 użytecznych kwestionariuszy z odsetkiem odpowiedzi 43%. Zastosowano eksploracyjną analizę czynnikową, która zaowocowała czterema wymiarami TQM i dwoma wymiarami zaangażowania organizacyjnego. Te wymiary zostały potwierdzone przy użyciu potwierdzającej analizy czynnikowej przy użyciu AMOS. SEM zastosowano do danych. Wyniki pokazują, że wdrożenie praktyk TQM poprawi wymiary zaangażowania organizacyjnego. Jednak nie wszystkie praktyki TQM mają pozytywny wpływ na zaangażowanie organizacyjne. Koncentracja na kierownictwie, wizji i interesariuszach nie wpływa pozytywnie na zaangażowanie organizacyjne. Omówiono również ograniczenia i zalecenia dotyczące przyszłych badań.

Subject and purpose of work: The article deals with the issues of promotion and its impact on the students’ decisions to choose a place to study. The problem seems to be important due to the changes on the educational market that have been taking place for several years. On the one hand, we have a large supply of academic institutions, and, on the other, an ongoing demographic decline. Such a situation requires the implementation of marketing activities which can establish and maintain permanent relationships between higher education institutions and the recipients of their offers. Materials and methods: This study used a non-random selection. It included 100 randomly selected students of Pope John Paul II State School of Higher Education in Biała Podlaska (PSW). Its aim was to answer two basic research questions, namely what impact on students’ choice of a place to study have promotional activities undertaken by higher education institutions, and which forms of promotion have the greatest and the least impact on students’ choices. Results: The survey of respondents' opinions was conducted at the turn of January and February 2020 by the method of a diagnostic survey using a questionnaire. The main source of information on academic institutions to choose from, as stated by the respondents, were their friends and family. Such an answer was given by as many as 40% of the respondents. The research also showed that the greatest impact on students’ decisions were: the information on the website of a higher education institution (24%), open days (19%), as well as leaflets and guides (16%). Conclusions: The arguments for the choice of Pope John Paul II State School of Higher Education in Biała Podlaska, and not some other academic institution, were primarily a convenient location, its prestige, the possibility of foreign trips and the positive opinions of their friends. The respondents positively assess the image of their study place, but they find its promotional activities to be insufficient.
