Opis:
This research is dedicated to the characteristic of structural spatial shifts of the world manufacturing industry. These trends have conduced to the restructuring of the world economy and main shifts in the manufacturing locations both at regional and global levels. On the one hand, countries have got a great chance to develop and to become active players in the world economy. On the other hand, those that fell behind the scientific and technological revolution, which started in the second part of the 20th century, and did not do their best to create new high technologies (or just did not have such opportunities because of a low level of development, illiteracy or people poorness) turned out to be behind global leading economies. Structural shifts both in manufacturing location and in industrial composition occur very quickly in the recent decades. There have been shifts in the HT-industry composition. The shift to developing Asian countries is fixed and there are some reasons for that. That is why the theme chosen for this paper is not very researched and rather burning. Moreover, it has practical importance for Russia, which in the current financial crisis once again has faced a choice to define the strategy of its further development.

Opis:
This study identified the zones likely to apply high-tech rice and corn technology based on criteria from different expert groups. Based on the resulting limiting factor for ability suitable, structural and non-structural solutions have been proposed to improve the suitability of rice and corn with high-tech applications. It was the basic foundation to support strategic planners in agricultural development sustainability in the future. High technology application in agricultural production is an inevitable trend in today’s society. In Vietnam, high-tech agricultural production has developed for a long time in high-tech industrial park production. However, in agricultural production, applying high technology with mass production has yet to have any specific regulations on criteria for implementation in production. On that basis, the research aimed at determining the requirements for developing high-tech agriculture with mass production. Therefore, the predefined criteria for primary and secondary data were developed, which were used for the data collected from farmers, managers, and scientists. Thereby, a production hierarchy of adaptations for rice and corn was built based on consultation results with the farmers and scientists and published studies. The results also made three land adaptation zones apply high technology in mass production for these two crops. The areas suitable for producing rice and corn with high technology applications were marginally suitable, and not suitable prevailed. No region in the An Giang province has a strong potential for cultivating high-tech rice and corn. This result also established adaptive upgrading solutions for applying high technology in the future, which helped improve agricultural production efficiency.

Opis:
The article investigates the features of industrial development in countries belonging to integration associations — the European Union and the Customs Union, as well as the policy to support industrial development carried out in them, its targets, mechanisms and instruments. The study is based on analyzing the input-output tables for 38 countries, covering the period of 1995–2011. There have been analyzed: the dynamics of global production, growth rate of output and structure of industrial products in EU and CU countries, share of industry in the economy, growth rate of output and structure of industrial exports, export orientation of industrial production, growth rate of the internal market capacity and consumption structure of industrial products, growth rate of GDP of high-tech industries and share of high-tech industries in industrial GDP. There have been ranked: 20 EU and CU member countries — the largest manufacturers of industrial products, largest exporters and importers of industrial products, 20 countries leading in capacity of the internal market for industrial products, 20 EU and CU member countries with the highest level of import dependence of the internal market for industrial products, 20 EU and CU member countries leading in terms of GDP of high-tech industries. Basic features of the industrial policy in European Union countries as well as in CU member countries have been studied, their differences and weaknesses defined.
