Opis:
At the moment the problem of dealing with external environment is an important issue of effective corporate strategic management in the enterprise. One of the factors of company interaction with external environment is company stakeholders. At the moment the theoretical basis of stakeholder analysis is researched insufficiently. The current research pursued the two goals: to show on which stage of strategic management process stakeholder analysis influences corporate activity and to provide effective theoretical and practical ground for the selection of stakeholders. In order to achieve the first goal the main aspects of stakeholder theory are reviewed in the paper. The place of stakeholder analysis in strategic management process is identified. It is argued that the interests of the most influential stakeholders should be considered in corporate goals, strategy and the strategic decision making process due to the “strategic necessity”. The latter means that consideration of the stakeholder influence leads to the increase of corporate performance effectiveness and fi nancial stability. The second objective is achieved through the review of possible techniques that could be used for stakeholder selection. The most appropriate for such purpose techniques are identifi ed by the analysis of their advantageous and disadvantageous. As the result of the review it is proposed to conduct the stakeholder selection basing on application of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The example of application of such method for stakeholder selection is presented in the article.

Opis:
The work of teachers has to be purposeful and well thought-out in order to achieve desired results. Both theory and practice show that achieving success must be combined with the adequate setting of educational goals and their organization within a specific hierarchy. The crucial research issue here consists of diagnosis of preferences concerning the hierarchy of physical education goals. A questionnaire developed by the European Physical Education Association has been used as the research tool. Teachers perceived the goal of "encouraging students to lead an active, healthy lifestyle" as the most important consideration. The lowest rank was applied to goals connected with shaping the social competences of pupils.

Opis:
For many centuries, investing in financial markets was only for the very rich. However, since the Second World War it has become both possible and necessary for larger parts of the population to make investment decisions. “Possible,” because wealth became more equally distributed and “necessary,” because of the increase in life expectancy and the need to provide an (extra) income during retirement. In Europe it was MiFID I while in the United States it was FINRA Rule 2111 that gave direction to financial advisers. In their individual ways, both regulations state that they expect good care on the part of the advisor, but they do not specify what good investment advice looks like. Thus, investment advisers looked back to a sixty year old theory (Mean Variance Theory from H. Markovitz) that treated money as the only and ultimate life goal and proposed selection of a single investment portfolio based on efficiency in terms of “risk” (variance) and return for each investor. The postulated “optimal variance” was called the “risk profile.” The paper proposes that investments be used to attain real life goals. In doing so, it becomes obvious that investments should be molded around and created as a function of these goals. Therefore, it becomes natural to have multiple sub-portfolios, each with its own risk profile. With respect to the Maslowian Portfolio Theory, the author adds a framework that puts emphasis on needs and, in a natural way, applies a hierarchy to goals as well as making sure that no goals are missed. The aim of the paper is to propose a practical implementation of the Maslowian Portfolio Theory as well as to study its impact.

Opis:
To achieve its aim, any human activity needs to be performed consciously and purposefully. In this way, such an activity strengthens perseverance and contributes to the development of a strategy of action. The selection of the objective is associated with the valuation and hierarchy of goals and in such circumstances the teacher who targets the completion o a variety of tasks needs to determine what is important for them, prioritise, and establish which activities are indispensable in order to proceed to further steps (Strelau, 2000). Physical education forms a process through which students are prepared for an independent, satisfying and life-long participation in movement culture(Crum, 2007). However, the realization of these goals is relative to activities on the part of teachers and adequate education throughout the course of the study program. The objective of this paper is to establish the opinions of academic teachers regarding the hierarchy of the goals of physical education. The survey involved 52 teachers working at three Polish universities: Opole University of Technology, University of Physical Education in Katowice and State Higher Vocational School in Racibórz. The method involved a diagnostic technique, i.e. a survey in the form of a questionnaire. The specific tool applied a survey developed by the European Physical Education Association. On the basis of the replies to the questionnaire we can conclude that all interviewees agree on the principal objective i.e. encouraging students to follow an active and healthy lifestyle. This objective was followed in priority by ensuring students’ safety during physical education classes and developing the range of movement skills.

Opis:
W artykule podjęto próbę analizy hierarchii aspiracji życiowych żołnierzy zawodowych w kontekście postawy wobec świata i ludzi, jaką jest wiara w grę o sumie zerowej.
The article attempts to analyze the hierarchy of life aspirations of professional soldiers in the context of their attitude towards the world and people, which is the belief in a zero-sum game. Life aspirations were described on the basis of the self-determination theory described by Grouzet et al. Life goals are ordered in a two-dimensional system: extrinsic–intrinsic goals and aspirations aimed at physical health and self-transcendence needs. The concept of zero-sum game as an innovative construct was introduced into social sciences by Wojciszke and Baryła as a context-independent indication for interpret human behavior. The study covered 90 soldiers of the Polish Air Force. The life goals presented by this professional group were described as a perspective of future aspirations, and it was indicated whether a group of soldiers presented a cooperative or antagonistic attitude towards others. According to the results, soldiers have an intrinsic and self-transcendent aspiration, in opposition to hedonistic goals. The research confirms dependencies obtained in intercultural research.
