    The Author indicates the need for pursuing a new educational policy in the emerging multicultural societies in order to acquire skills that enable exceeding the limits of own ethnocentrism and sociocentism. He emphasis that the education system has not been equipped with the tools for shaping: civic attitudes, development of the human community and responsibility for it. The Author signifies and justifies that the current education policy is moving towards ideologies of the nation, which should be opposed. In the context of the above, the Author highlights the need for revitalization of heterology in contemporary educational policy as a principle of social life and attitudes characterised by sensitivity and intercultural competences.

    Opis:
    The war in Ukraine initiated by the Russians makes one aware every day of the destruction of ideas and principles of peaceful problem solving developed over the years, and of the paradigm of cultural coexistence created in intercultural education. The aim of the article is to point out the need to undertake new tasks through intercultural education in the face of the ongoing war in Ukraine. Shaping a culture of peace, “making peace” has now become the leading task of intercultural education. The text points to the task of building on “good memory” as an opportunity and possibility of dealing with “bad memory”, the emancipation of national memories, the revitalization of heterology – the science of the Other, intercultural competences, the elimination of stereotypes and prejudices, one-sided negative and aggressive propaganda, etc. The article emphasizes the responsibility of intercultural education for creating the principles of democracy, revitalizing values symbolizing the common history with Ukraine, cooperation and collaboration in the process of functioning in European culture.
    Wszczęta przez Rosjan wojna w Ukrainie uświadamia nam codziennie niszczenie wypracowywanych przez lata idei i zasad pokojowego rozwiązywania problemów, kreowanego w edukacji międzykulturowej paradygmatu współistnienia kultur. Celem artykułu jest wskazanie na konieczność podjęcia nowych zadań przez edukację międzykulturową wobec toczącej się wojny w Ukrainie. Kształtowanie kultury pokoju, „czynienie pokoju” stało się obecnie zadaniem wiodącym edukacji międzykulturowej. W tekście wskazuje się na zadanie budowania na „dobrej pamięci” jako szansę i możliwość rozliczenia się ze „złej pamięci”, na emancypację narodowych pamięci, rewitalizację heterologii – nauki o Innym, na kompetencje międzykulturowe, na niwelowanie stereotypów i uprzedzeń, jednostronnej negatywnej i agresywnej propagandy itp. Podkreśla się odpowiedzialność edukacji międzykulturowej za kreowanie zasad demokracji, rewitalizowanie wartości symbolizujących wspólną historię z Ukrainą, współpracę i współdziałanie w procesie funkcjonowania w kulturze europejskiej.

    Hegel criticizes the mode of reflection that is typical of the transcendental philosophy of his age. The present article explores the relevance of Hegel’s criticism with regard to contemporary transcendental philosophy, in particular that of Werner Flach. Christian Krijnen shows that, despite substantial modifications of Kant’s conception of transcendental philosophy, not least inspired by Hegel, contemporary transcendental philosophy absolutizes the logic of essence. More precisely, from the perspective of its mode of reflection, contemporary transcendental philosophy basically is an absolutized form of external reflection.

    Tekst podejmuje kwestie epistemologii Inności/Obcości jako składnika ponowoczesnego dyskursu humanistycznego. Perspektywa antropologiczno-aksjologiczna odsłania problem dialogu z Innym w wymiarze socjologiczno-etnicznym, transkulturowym, postkolonialnym i globalistycznym. Etyczny nurt interpretacji Innego zostaje omówiony w oparciu o pisarstwo Ryszarda Kapuścińskiego, dla którego Inny staje się „głównym aktorem globalnej sceny wielokulturowego świata”. Takiemu ujęciu odpowiada projekt heterologii oraz poznawczej triady: Inny-Dialog-Doświadczenie (spotkanie). Dopełnieniem rozważań są zagadnienia dyskursów tożsamościowych interpretowanych i klasyfikowanych w kontekście procesów globalizacji i „demontażu geografii” (A. Appadurai) oraz w odniesieniu do pojęć: „deterytorializacji kultur”, „nowego diasporyzmu”, „peryferyzacji centrum”, „neotrybalizmu” i dyslokacji przestrzennej bazy kulturowej. Inność jako etyczny problem ponowoczesności eksplikują i dookreślają zjawiska związane z powstawaniem płynnych quasi-struktur tożsamościowych, pokazujących hybrydyczność globalnej ekonomii kulturowej.
    The text addresses the epistemology of Otherness/Strangeness as a component of postmodern humanistic discourse. The anthropological-axiological perspective reveals the issue of dialogue with the Other in sociological-ethnic, transcultural, postcolonial, and globalist dimensions. The ethical approach to interpreting the Other is discussed with reference to the writings of Ryszard Kapuściński, for whom the Other becomes "the main actor on the global stage of a multicultural world." This approach corresponds to the project of heterology and the cognitive triad: Otherness-Dialogue-Experience (encounter). The discussion is complemented by issues of identity discourses, interpreted and classified in the context of globalization processes and the "disassembly of geography" (A. Appadurai), as well as in relation to concepts such as "deterritorialization of cultures," "new diasporism," "peripherization of the center," "neotribalism," and the dislocation of cultural spatial bases. Otherness, as an ethical issue of postmodernity, is further explicated and defined by phenomena related to the emergence of fluid quasi-identity structures, which demonstrate the hybridity of the global cultural economy.
