Opis:: Aim. The aim of this article is to discuss whether catholic education may be approached as an alternative to the main dominating education system. Methods. The research made use of the hermeneutical phenomenology access by Max van Manen (2016 a) and Linda Finlay (2009). During the research, hermeneutical phenomenology was used as the theoretical and methodological core. Results. In the theoretical part, it is revealed that in the historical context, catholic education has been a traditional, re-flourishing phenomenon throughout recorded history. That is why the notion of “alternative” while speaking about a catholic school in Lithuania may be used in some extremely specific cases. Conclusion. Phenomenological analysis has grasped that the chapel is indeed the incredibly special space of a catholic school that appears in the remembrance of the participants of the analysis. A relation based on trust between adults and pupils in a catholic school stimulates pupils to proceed with the same well behaviour that they witness the seniors (teachers and other pupils), as well as their peers (building team and embracing correlation), doing. The body dimension is present in several aspects: voluntary physical assistance and embracing a look at the different one, a shocking collision with a theme about one’s sexuality and a peaceful belief in resurrection of the body that provides strength and hope. The time dimension is present in two aspects: as a Kairos retreat and in other planned liturgical practices.

Opis:: The scarcity of women holding top leadership positions in organisations not only reflects the gender equity issue, which is faced globally including Malaysia, but also indicates it as a phenomenon for the women leaders who managed to climb to the top as head of business organisations. This paper attempts to identify the ‘seeds of leadership’ that contributed towards women’s success as head of business organisations. The lived leadership journeys of seven Malaysian women from the technology, private university, manufacturing, hospitality, and legal industry were examined. A hermeneutical phenomenological approach was used, and a purposive sampling technique was carried out. In-depth interviews were utilised, and data were analysed using the Atlas.ti qualitative data analysis software. The leadership identity construction theory (LICT) was employed in this study. Early personal developmental relationships and experiences contribute as antecedents to the leadership identity construction (LIC) of the senior women leaders. These formative relationships and experiences are concluded as being the ‘seeds of leadership’ that contributed to the development of the women’s future LIC. While this study may not be generalised for profiling other women leaders in Malaysia, its novelty lies in the unique insights.
Niedobór kobiet zajmujących najwyższe stanowiska kierownicze w organizacjach nie tylko odzwierciedla problem równości płci, z którym boryka się na całym świecie, w tym Malezja, ale także wskazuje, że jest to zjawisko dla kobiet liderów, którym udało się wspiąć na szczyt jako szefowa organizacji biznesowych. W artykule podjęto próbę zidentyfikowania „zalążków przywództwa”, które przyczyniły się do sukcesu kobiet jako szefów organizacji biznesowych. Przeanalizowano życiowe podróże przywódcze siedmiu malezyjskich kobiet z branży technologicznej, prywatnego uniwersytetu, produkcji, hotelarstwa i branży prawniczej. Zastosowano hermeneutyczne podejście fenomenologiczne i zastosowano celową technikę próbkowania. Wykorzystano pogłębione wywiady, a dane przeanalizowano za pomocą oprogramowania do jakościowej analizy danych Atlas.ti. W badaniu wykorzystano teorię konstrukcji tożsamości przywódców (LICT). Wczesne relacje i doświadczenia związane z rozwojem osobistym przyczyniają się do tworzenia tożsamości przywódczej (LIC) starszych kobiet liderów. Te formujące relacje i doświadczenia są uważane za „zalążki przywództwa”, które przyczyniły się do rozwoju przyszłej LIC kobiet. Chociaż badanie to może nie być uogólnione w celu profilowania innych liderek w Malezji, jego nowość polega na unikalnych spostrzeżeniach.

Opis:: Der Artikel setzt sich zum Ziel, die Überlegungen von Charles Taylor zu der Problematik der menschlichen Identität zu analysieren und Hauptthesen seines Antinaturalismus aufzuweisen. Aufgegriffen wird die Frage nach der Stellung des Taylorschen Gedankens im Kontext der Tradition der Phänomenologie und der hermeneutischen Philosophie. Die Kritik des Naturalismus beruht u. a. darauf, den für den Menschen konstitutiven axiologischen Horizont aufzuzeigen: den unabdingbaren Begriffsrahmen, der allen reduktionistischen Entwürfen menschlicher Natur vorangeht.
The purpose of this article is to trace Charles Taylor’s considerations concerning the issues of human identity and to show the main points of his anti-naturalist position. The Canadian philosopher’s criticism of naturalism consists, inter alia, of the identification of man’s constitutive axiological horizon – the conceptual framework, prior to any reductionist conceptions of human nature. One of the topics of the paper is to present Taylor’s thoughts within the tradition of Husserl's phenomenology and the hermeneutical philosophy of Gadamer and Heidegger. The above said category of conceptual framework is compared with Gadamer's notion of superstition (Vorurteil).
Celem artykułu jest analiza rozważań Charlesa Taylora dotyczących problematyki ludzkiej tożsamości oraz wskazanie głównych tez jego antynaturalizmu. Zostaje też podjęta kwestia pozycji myśli Taylora w horyzoncie tradycji fenomenologii oraz filozofii hermeneutycznej. Krytyka naturalizmu polega między innymi na wykazaniu konstytutywnego dla człowieka horyzontu aksjologicznego – nieusuwalnych ram pojęciowych, poprzedzających wszelkie redukcjonistyczne koncepcje natury ludzkiej.
