    Opis:
    Mechanical resistance consists of rolling tire resistance and power losses of vehicle drive train. Rolling resistance is done by deformation of vehicle tires on road surface. Power losses represent resistances of bearings and wheels rolling and oil wading. This resistance acts continuously during vehicle wheels rotation. The value of this driving resistance is possible to test by different methods. Laboratory tests on rotating drum or dynamometer are usually used. This paper deals about rare method – coastdown exterior driving test. It was done with a casual truck trailer set. Results of this test method show the value of this resistance forces which are converted into a coefficient of mechanical resistance and discussed in the point of view of rolling resistance coefficient values.

    Opis:
    W artykule przedstawiono problem ograniczenia ruchu pojazdów. Poruszony problem naświetlono z punktu widzenia handlu, przewoźnika oraz mieszkańca miasta, w którym wprowadzono ograniczenia w ruchu samochodów ciężarowych. Przedstawiono metodę oceny wpływu takiej decyzji na rozwój tych grup i jej wyniki. Na tym tle pokazano wybrane lokalne przykłady rozwiązań ograniczających ruch stosowane w Unii Europejskiej. Następnie pokazano przykład ograniczeń czasowych w ruchu odnoszących się do terenu wybranych państw. W kolejnym kroku, zaprezentowano ograniczenia lokalne w postaci obecnie obowiązujących regulacji dla transportu tranzytowego i docelowego wynikające z prawnych ograniczeń na terenie Polskich miast: Warszawy, Łodzi, Lublina, Wrocławia, Legnicy, Ełku, Łomży, Poznania, Torunia, Gliwic, Nowej Soli, Płocka, Suwałk i Sopotu. Jako ostatni element systemu ograniczenia ruchu zaprezentowano ogólnopolskie ograniczenia czasowe. Na zakończenie przedstawiono opisowe wnioski wynikające z analizy problemu.
    The article presents the problem of road traffic limitations for heavy goods vehicles. The problem was highlighted from the point of view of the trade, the carrier and the urban population, where traffic restrictions were introduced. A method for assessing the impact of such decisions on the development of these groups and its results is presented. Selected local examples of traffic restrictions in the European Union are discussed. Then an example of time constraints in traffic in relation to the area of selected countries is shown. In the next step, local restrictions were introduced in a form of current regulations for transit and destination transport, resulting from legal restrictions in the Polish cities of Warsaw, Lódź, Lublin, Legnica, Ełk, Lomża, Poznań, Toruń, Gliwice, Nowa Sól, Płock, Suwałki and Sopot. The national limitations of time are also presented. Finally, descriptive conclusions from the problem analysis are presented.

    Opis:
    In order to conduct analysis for the evaluation of benefits derived from Transport Telematic Services (TTS), supporting decisions about architecture design options, it is necessary to establish a characterization framework. This study identifies potentially relevant TTSs for Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Transport, potential users and domain of usage for the services and present these in a useful framework for conducting analysis toward a holistic understanding of telematic services e.g. impact analysis, benefits analysis etc. An illustrative example employing the framework has been presented.

    Opis:
    This article highlights the need to rethink how to manage mobility in Morocco more intelligently, given that it is a major pillar of economic competitiveness. Smart mobility based on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) allows to improve and ensure the optimal use of existing infrastructure before embarking on heavy and irreversible infrastructure projects. The case regarding the separation of the urban traffic and the Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) traffic circulating between Casablanca Port and Zenata Dry Port is a relevant example where smart mobility could provide efficient solutions without building costly tunnels. A dynamic simulation was made using the Aimsun software to quantify the relevance of the proposed lane designated to HGV in the existing road. This simulation allows to visualise congestion sections and quantify the circulation of vehicles and pedestrians. The article presents defined functions and characteristics of the Advanced Traffic Management (ATM) to ensure the optimal operation and efficient setting of the simulation. All appliances, hardware, and sensors that will be set up on-site will help to improve traffic safety, traffic flow, traffic information, and reduce congestion and pollution. This case study illustrates the complexity of managing the flow of goods in cities and suggests how to solve this type of problems using smart mobility. This research proposes reserving a special lane for HGV. ITS will help this cost-optimal alternative, will promote the urban framework of the coastal road, and contribute to sustainable mobility in Casablanca.
