Opis:
W artykule opisano dalsze prace związane z rozszerzeniem funkcjonalności rejestratora wartości chwilowych napięć i prądów przeznaczonego do monitorowania pracy urządzeń odlewniczych zasilanych z sieci elektroenergetycznej jedno- lub trójfazowej. W ich ramach opracowano i wdrożono odpowiednie algorytmy obliczeniowe wzbogacające oprogramowanie przyrządu. Do analizy chwilowych przebiegów napięcia i prądu wykorzystano podawane w literaturze syntetyczne wskaźniki charakteryzujące wyżej wymienione przebiegi.
The article describes further work related to the extension of functionality of instantaneous values recorder of voltages and currents designed to monitor of the foundry devices operation. Such devices can be supplied from the single or three-phase power grid. In this framework the appropriate computational algorithms have been developed and implemented. It has enriched the device software. For analysis of instantaneous voltage and current values have been used synthetic indicators characterizing the above-mentioned waveforms (reported in the technical literature).

Opis:
The paper summarizes the present state of discussions on power phenomena, power definitions and compensation in single-phase linear circuits. The main concepts developed over several decades on how various non-active powers in circuits with nonsinusoidal voltages and currents should be defined and compensated are presented along with a detailed discussion of these concepts. The paper presents also the concept of the single-phase load current decomposition into Currents' Physical Components (CPC) and its application for power definitions and compensation in such circuits. The paper is not addressed to scientists and experts on powers, but rather to common electrical engineers that sometimes face power related problems in nonsinusoidal systems.

Opis:
Power variation of a customer load can disturb other loads in distribution systems and compensators for such loads are sometimes needed. Voltages and currents in systems with such loads can be asymmetrical, nonperiodic, distorted and even unpredictable. Consequently, reference signals for the compensator control have to be generated in a situation where the power properties of the load are not well specified. Voltages and currents in systems with time-varying loads, although nonperiodic, can be treated as quantities with a disturbed periodicity. These are referred to as semi-periodic quantities. Under such an assumption, the Current Physical Components (CPC) power theory can by used for estimation of the power properties of such loads. In such a case, the CPC power theory provides fundamentals for a quasi-instantaneous generation of reference signals for the compensator control, based both on the frequency- and on the time-domain approach. The paper presents fundamentals of generation of reference signals for unbalanced loads with semi-periodic voltages and currents.

Opis:
A double inverter powered induction motor with open stator winding has few benefits, including excessive error forbearance functionality, great flexibility and lesser rating of DC input voltage etc. For this Configuration, two types of Modules can be implemented: they are Non-Isolated DC link and Isolated DC link. In these two, Non-Isolated DC link is a good choice due to effective DC-link utilization and ruggedness, which is very beneficial in many applications. However, this module produces more zero sequence currents (Z-SC) by means of common mode (CMMD) voltage, which flows through DC bus. The circulation of Z-SC must be as little as possible since it merely rises the amplitude of currents in all phases. High ripple frequency of currents and torque, in addition results in extra loss, which not only reduces the efficiency, but influences loading ability and quickens the aging of drive. The Triplen harmonics can be defined as harmonics with integer of three times the frequency at fundamental, when they are in Phase in all Phases forms the Z-SC. In this paper, a novel SHE method is chosen to target Triplen harmonics in Single DC Source Module (Non- Isolated) and holding preferred fundamental quantity, which aids in improving the torque handling ability of the motor. In addition, the investigation of dual inverter fed OEW-IM with both common DC source as well as separate DC sources is also explored in the SHE for different number of switching angles and variable Modulation Index (MI) towards the torque ripples and Z-SC reduction given. The foremost challenge related to the SHE method is resolving a set of higher order nonlinear equations with a number of variables. A Multi-objective GA method is provided for that challenge which effects the reduction in Z-SC so that torque ripples will be minimized. Moreover, the novel SHE method reduces the number of harmonics better than the conventional SHE, which further decreases TH-D with decent fundamental quantity. For validation, the essential mathematical formulations and simulation results are presented.
