    Opis:
    Geothermal energy is the heat from the Earth that can be recovered and exploited by man. Natural geothermal energy examples are hot springs, volcanoes and other thermal sources. Research showed that the Earth’s temperature was increasing with depth, under a gradient of 2-3°C/100m. It is a great resource, non-polluting, almost infinite source of clean and renewable energy. The heat originates from the Earth’s core temperature. The ground-source heat pump (GSHP) is able to use the low grade geothermal energy to heat and cool homes, schools, governmental and commercial buildings. The heat pump uses a relatively small amount of electricity to transport four times more heat energy to heat consumers.

    Ventilation systems consume more and more energy because of the often complex treatment of the air supplied to closed spaces. Looking for sources of energy allow for significant savings costs, which often translate into renewable energy sources. One of the more popular solutions is to use energy from the ground by various methods. Known and relatively common solutions are based on ground heat exchanger and ground collector cooperating with a heat pump. The paper presents the possibility of cooperation ventilation system with ground air heat exchanger and heat pump both in summer and winter period. A number solutions of this type of system, supported by calculation examples and moist air transformation in the Moliere chart have been presented. Support ventilation system with renewable energy sources allows significant savings in operating as shown in the article.

    W pracy przedstawiono analizę energetyczną poziomych gruntowych wymienników pompy ciepła. Przeprowadzono analizę trzech typów wymienników wykonanych z rur polietylenowych, ułożonych w gruncie w kształcie pojedynczego U podwójnego U oraz spiralnie. Wymienniki posadowione były na głębokości od 1,5 do 2,3 m. Określono wydajność cieplną wymienników przy zróżnicowanym zapotrzebowaniu energii. Dla istniejących warunków badań okazało się, że największą ilość energii uzyskuje się w wymienniku poziomym, ułożonym w konfiguracji podwójnego U, którego średnia jednostkowa wydajność mocy grzewczej wynosiła 21,5 W z 1 mb rury. Moc jednostkowa uzyskiwana z pozostałych dwóch wymienników była średnio o 40% mniejsza i wahała się w zakresie 8 do 17 W z 1 mb rury.
    The paper presents the energy analysis of horizontal ground exchangers of a heat pump. Three types of exchangers made of polyethylene pipes, placed in the ground single U, double U and spirally shaped were analysed. Exchangers were placed in the depth from 1.5 to 2.3 m. Thermal capacity of exchangers at varied energy demand was determined. For the existing research conditions, it was proved that the highest amount of energy is obtained in the horizontal exchanger placed in the double U configuration, the average unit thermal power capacity of which was 21.5 W from 1 current meter of a pipe. The unit power obtained from the remaining two exchangers was at the average by 40% lower and was within the range 8 to 17 W from 1 current meter of a pipe.

    The article is devoted to temperature changes in the ground massif with the horizontal heat exchanger as an energy source for a heat pump. The article was aimed at analyzing temperature changes in the ground massif with the horizontal heat exchanger at the beginning, in the course of and at the end of the heating season. Another aim was to analyze temperature differences in the area of the horizontal exchanger and the reference lot. The heat flow utilized in the evaporator of heat pump was extracted from the ground exchanger (nominal output at the condenser was 10.5 kW). Temperatures of the ground massif with the horizontal heat exchanger were measured in its plane in depths of 0.75 m, 0.5 m and 0.25 m. The temperature inside the ground massif on the reference lot and ambient parameters were measured as well. It is obvious that the difference of energetic potentials inside the ground massif with the heat exchanger and on the reference lot is insignificant at the beginning of the heating season. During the heating season, the difference of ground massif energetic potentials increases; at the end it is constant. The difference of temperatures in horizontal planes was not significant at the beginning of the heating season; however, it gradually increased. Maximum differences were detected in the area of the heat exchanger. In higher strata, the difference between temperatures decreases. During a major part of the heating season, temperatures at pipes of the ground exchanger were negative. This fact affected amounts of heat extracted from the ground massif.
