As a result of the growing importance of ''green'' practices conducted by participants of supply chains, the interest of possibly obtained results on this account also increases. Therefore, the purpose of these considerations is to indicate what kind of effects are most often obtained by entities in the above dimension. Quantitative research was carried out among manufacturing enterprises registered in Poland, which are participants of domestic and international supply chains. A questionnaire was used as a research tool. On the basis of research, among other things, it has been proved that enterprises primarily produce results in the area of for the sake of materials management and for the natural environment, while clearly visible economic effects are not notably visible. This is characteristic of the initial stage of the development of green practices.

Głównym celem artykułu jest uporządkowanie wiedzy dotyczącej pojęcia, zasad i elementów idei zielonych łańcuchów dostaw na tle pokrewnych koncepcji, tj. odpowiedzialnych i zrównoważonych łańcuchów dostaw, ekologistycznych łańcuchów dostaw, a także ich relacji z często używanymi pojęciami: zielonej logistyki, ekologistyki, logistyki odwrotnej, logistyki odzysku, logistyki utylizacji, logistyki recyclingu oraz logistyki zwrotu. Autorzy przeprowadzili analizę logiczną literatury przedmiotu. Na tej podstawie wykazano, iż koncepcja zielonych łańcuchów dostaw mieści się w szerzej interpretowanym, zrównoważonym i odpowiedzialnym społecznie nazewnictwie. Terminy bliskoznaczne, tj. ekologistyczny łańcuch dostaw, ekologistyka, logistyka odwrotna i inne, najczęściej dotyczą jedynie strumienia odpadów, a więc są terminami o węższym zakresie pojęciowym. Przeprowadzona próba systematyzacji pojęć powinna być inspiracją do dalszej dyskusji na temat konieczności uporządkowania terminologii w zakresie nauk o zarządzaniu.
The main aim of the paper is to identify the essence, rules and elements of the green supply chain idea in relation to similar concepts, such as responsible and sustainable supply chains. The authors made the logic analysis based on the literature review which proved that the green supply chain concept is a part of broader ideas of sustainable supply chain as well as socially responsible supply chain. The similar terms, such as: ecologistical supply chain, green logistics, ecologistics, reverse logistics, utilization logistics, recycling logistics and other are usually used in a narrow sense restricted to flows of waste. The undertaken attempt to terms systematization should be an inspiration for further discussion concerning the necessity of ordering the terminology within the management science.

Aim/purpose - This research aims to design an analytical framework to investigate the dimensions, factors, and key indicators affecting the green supply chain based on the innovative technology of Artificial Intelligence of Everything (AIoE). Understanding the cause-and-effect relationships of all actors in this smart and sustainable system is also one of the critical goals of this research. Also, examining the key features of AIoE technology as a new hybrid technology is one of this research's most essential features. Design/methodology/approach - This research has tried to extract and refine the most critical parameters affecting the green supply chain based on technology by reviewing the literature and examining the opinions of active experts in the field of study. Then, by using the focus group, it has been tried to provide an analytical framework to express the cause-and-effect relationships of all actors active in this system by examining the basic features of AIoE. Finally, this framework was validated and approved using experts' opinions and the focus group, emphasizing integrity, comprehensiveness, and effectiveness. Findings - This research identified the dimensions, components, and indicators affecting the smart, green, and sustainable supply chain based on Artificial Intelligence (AI). It also presented an analytical framework that shows the cause-and-effect relationships of all active actors in this system. Research implications/limitations - This research simultaneously offers significant insights into implementing intelligent and sustainable process-oriented systems. However, it is important to note the limitations. One of the most significant challenges in presenting the framework was finding experts with sufficient awareness, knowledge, and experience and participants to analyze cause-and-effect relationships. Originality/value contribution - This research provides a practical analysis of AIoE technology for the first time. The results strongly support the argument that hybrid AIoE technology can tremendously impact the sustainability and greenness of supply chain processes.

With continuous and rapid change in both technology and businesses due to climate change and governments regulations, Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) is receiving increasing attentions during last two decades. GSCM refers to the abilities of businesses to enhance operations and sustain environment at the same time and efficiently. In this paper, a comprehensive review of GSCM development and applications is conducted. This review aims to explore the recent developments of GSCM and necessity of adoption GSCM applications in businesses to insure sustainable development. First, a descriptive analysis of 796 paper adopted from Scopus database was conducted to review research on GSCM. Next, a bibliometric analysis of 235 paper was conducted to determine the recent trends and areas of GSCM and related keywords by using VOSviewer software. Then, a content analysis was carried out of 53 review papers by adopting WordStat software to analyze the impact of GSCM on related subjects and trends of GSCM. Finally, a summary analysis of GSCM advantages and challenges was conducted based on fundamental GSCM’s objectives. Results reveal that researches on GSCM are in upward curve with limitations in implementing GSCM applications due to high cost, and lack of sufficient experiences. Results also reveal positive moderate correlation of GSCM with environment, performance, sustainability and management practices indicating the limited implementation of GSCM applications. To further explore these limitations, this study summarized the recent challenges and future potential directions of GSCM in both businesses and environments.

Background: The development of competitive advantage through the implementation of green supply chains is an interesting and a desirable way of the company's development from the perspective of social requirements. However, it is not always reflected in the requirements, which are posed by the market. The objective is therefore to conduct empirical studies as well as to design a model, which shall identify the relationships between the supply chain level of the engagement in pro-environmental activities and competitive instruments preferred by customers. Methods: In order to conduct the research, we conducted direct interviews with the use of a survey questionnaire. The subjects of the survey were medium and big production enterprises located in Wielkopolskie Voivodship. Results and conclusions: One of the findings of the conducted research, among others, was the conclusion that imposing pro-environmental demands from the side of direct customers leads to a higher level of company's engagement in this area. At the same time, we determined that the market requirements regarding environmental aspects are low. Therefore, there's an urgent need to develop some incentives, which are activating in this area of suppliers.
Wstęp: Wypracowanie przewagi konkurencyjnej drogą implementacji zielonych łańcuchów dostaw jest interesującą i pożądaną z punktu widzenia społecznych oczekiwań drogą rozwoju przedsiębiorstw, niemniej nie zawsze ma to odzwierciedlenie w wymaganiach, jakie stawia rynek. W związku z powyższym celem podjętych rozważań jest opracowanie modelu umożliwiającego zidentyfikowanie zależności występujących między stopniem zaangażowania przedsiębiorstw w działalność prośrodowiskową realizowaną wzdłuż łańcucha dostaw, a instrumentami konkurowania preferowanymi przez odbiorców oraz przeprowadzenie badań empirycznych. Metody: W celu przeprowadzenia badań przeprowadzono wywiady bezpośrednie na podstawie kwestionariusza ankiety. Podmiotem badań były średnie i duże przedsiębiorstwa produkcyjne zlokalizowane w województwie wielkopolskim. Rezultaty i wnioski: W wyniku przeprowadzonych badań między innymi ustalono, iż stawianie wymagań prośrodowiskowych ze strony bezpośrednich odbiorców wiąże się z wyższym poziomem zaangażowania przedsiębiorstw w omawianym obszarze zagadnień. Jednocześnie stwierdzono, że oczekiwania rynkowe dotyczące aspektów środowiskowych są niskie. Istnieje zatem pilna potrzeba wypracowania bodźców aktywizujących w tym obszarze odbiorców.

W niniejszym opracowaniu skoncentrowano się na aspektach związanych z zarządzaniem zielonym łańcuchem dostaw, w tym w szczególności na poziomie integracji łańcucha dostaw oraz efektach implementacji działań prośrodowiskowych realizowanych wśród pionowo zintegrowanych podmiotów. Przedmiotem badań były polskie przedsiębiorstwa produkcyjne. Na podstawie uzyskanych wyników dowiedziono, że wyższy poziom integracji w łańcuchu dostaw prowadzi do wyższych wyników prośrodowiskowych uzyskiwanych na rzecz badanych przedsiębiorstw, kooperantów w łańcuchu dostaw oraz dalszego i bliższego otoczenia przedsiębiorstwa, w tym samego środowiska naturalnego. W ramach przeprowadzonych badań ustalono także, że głównymi beneficjentami korzyści wynikających z wdrożeń aktywności prośrodowiskowych są interesariusze wewnętrzni.
This study focuses on aspects related to green supply chain management, including the level of supply chain integration and the effect of implementation of pro-environmental activities carried out among vertically integrated entities. The subject of the research were Polish manufacturing enterprises. Based on the obtained results, it has been proved that a higher level of integration in the supply chain leads to higher pro-environmental results obtained for the surveyed enterprises, cooperators in the supply chain and the further and closer environment of the enterprise, including the natural environment itself. As part of the conducted research, it was also determined that the main beneficiaries of the benefits resulting from the implementation of pro-environmental activities are internal stakeholders.

The article considers the importance and aims of implementation of ecologistic strategy at an enterprise. The author analyzes the factors of harmful effect of logistic processes at an enterprise on industrial and natural environment. The place of logistics and ecologization processes at an enterprise and their interconnection were efficiently estimated. The figure of Green Supply Chain Model (GrSCM) at an enterprise was constructed. The contradictions between logistics and ecologization processes were revealed, which allows esteeming the real perspectives and obstacles in ecologistical strategy implementation.

The integration of the disciplines of both the green operation and the complex supply chain (including purchasing, production and logistics) came into focus in the 1990s. In the literature review the focus of the researchers of this cross-sectional field was the automotive industry. It seems obvious that these closely-knit systems with high OEM dominance will offer more concrete results: it is difficult to resist when a given OEM starts to involve its first-, second- and third tier suppliers into its environmental schemes and processes. The Hungarian automotive sector can be characterized as somewhat one-sided: it consists of by few large international OEM’s (Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Suzuki, Raba), but by a large number of small-medium enterprises as 3rd (or even 4th!) tier suppliers. The aim of the paper was to find out whether companies acting as a member of more advanced chains show also better results in their “green” supply-chain-behavior. As a study description, in our empirical research, we have created a toolkit, and examined whether companies, which are using more sophisticated inter-organizational cooperation-tools, are more environmentally cautious, and if yes to what extent. As a result, discussion it can be stated that companies with a higher developed traditional Supply Chain have also a more developed green supply chain management system.
Integracja dyscyplin, zarówno działalności ekologicznej, jak i złożonego łańcucha dostaw (w tym zakupów, produkcji i logistyki) w centrum uwagi znalazła się w latach dziewięćdziesiątych ubiegłego wieku. W przeglądzie literatury przedmiotem zainteresowania badaczy był przemysł motoryzacyjny. Wydaje się oczywiste, że te ściśle powiązane systemy o wysokiej pozycji dominującej wśród producentów oryginalnego wyposażenia(OEM), oferują bardziej konkretne wyniki: trudno jest oprzeć się sytuacji, kiedy dany producent zaczyna angażować swoich dostawców pierwszego, drugiego i trzeciego szczebla w swoje systemy i procesy środowiskowe. Węgierski sektor motoryzacyjny można scharakteryzować jako nieco jednostronny: składa się on z kilku dużych międzynarodowych producentów OEM (Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Suzuki, Raba), a także dużej liczby małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw jako dostawców trzeciego (lub nawet czwartego) poziomu. Celem artykułu było ustalenie, czy firmy działające jako członkowie bardziej zaawansowanych sieci wykazują również lepsze wyniki w swoich "zielonych" zachowaniach związanych z łańcuchem dostaw. W badaniach empirycznych stworzono zestaw narzędzi i zbadano, czy firmy, które używają bardziej wyrafinowanych narzędzi współpracy międzyorganizacyjnej, są bardziej ostrożne ekologicznie, a jeśli tak, to w jakim stopniu. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań, można stwierdzić, że firmy o bardziej rozwiniętym tradycyjnym łańcuchu dostaw mają również bardziej rozwinięty system zarządzania zielonym łańcuchem dostaw.

Tylko to, co jest mierzone, może być właściwie zarządzane. Proces pomiaru powinien służyć ciągłemu doskonaleniu przedsiębiorstw i całych łańcuchów dostaw. Dane z systemu pomiaru powinny powodować wzrost współpracy i pomagać w podejmowaniu decyzji o zmianach na poziomie operacyjnym, a z drugiej strony może to być ważna informacja przy przedefiniowaniu strategii. Pozwala to na rozwój łańcuchów dostaw opartych na wiedzy, gdzie zakres współpracy jest dosłownie nieograniczony (dotyczy to również aspektów ekologicznych). Istnieją dwa podstawowe podejścia do pomiaru wydajności łańcucha dostaw: kompleksowy pomiar, który patrzy na wyniki całego łańcucha (który można rozdzielić na poszczególne szczeble i poziomy), oraz pomiar częściowy, gdy mierzymy tylko niektóre aspekty. Często praktykowany jest tylko pomiar oddzielnie działających firm, a nie całego łańcucha. Problem jest jeszcze bardziej widoczny, jeśli chodzi o pomiar wydajności działań ekologicznych w zintegrowanych łańcuchach dostaw. W artykule opisano możliwości oceny wyników GSCM. Przedstawiono i oceniono główne wyzwania i przeszkody stojące przed pomiarem wyników zielonych łańcuchów dostaw.
Only what is measured can be managed properly. And the measurement process should serve a continuous improvement of companies and whole supply chains. Data from the performance measurement system should cause an increase of cooperation and help in taking right decisions about changes at the operational level, and on the other hand, are an important information when redefining strategies. This will allow for the development of the supply chain based on knowledge, in which the scope of cooperation is literally unlimited (including green aspects). There are two basic approaches to measuring the performance of supply chains: a comprehensive measurement that measures the results of the entire chain (which can be divided into individual tiers and levels) and partial measurement when we measure only certain aspects. Often, in practice, only measurement of separately operating companies is practiced by companies, not throughout chains. And the problem is even more evident when it comes to measuring performance of green activities in integrated supply chains. The paper presents the possibilities of evaluation of GSCM performance. The major challenges and obstacles are presented and assessed.

Nowadays, the world is facing a crisis of sustainability challenges and industries in developed countries are making strategies to respond to those challenges by implementing Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM). Similarly, the industries of developing countries are striving to apply GSCM for sustainable development. This study aims to present a systematic literature review of GSCM practices and discusses its current status in the context of Bangladesh. This study used the PRISMA model and considered 70 research papers on GSCM published in Scopus and the Web of Science indexed journals in the context of developing countries including 21 papers on Bangladesh. The papers presented here identified the barriers and critical success factors to implement GSCM by reviewing selected papers including theoretical and practical issues. Furthermore, it indicates that the number of empirical research work on GSCM has increased rapidly over the last few years. This review paper would help managers, researchers, academicians, and policymakers for a better understanding of GSCM practices in Bangladesh and other developing countries.
Obecnie świat stoi w obliczu kryzysu związanego z wyzwaniami związanymi ze zrównoważonym rozwojem, a branże w krajach rozwiniętych opracowują strategie odpowiadające na te wyzwania, wdrażając zielone zarządzanie łańcuchem dostaw (GSCM). Podobnie branże krajów rozwijających się starają się stosować GSCM dla zrównoważonego rozwoju. Niniejsze opracowanie ma na celu przedstawienie systematycznego przeglądu literatury na temat praktyk GSCM i omówienie jego obecnego stanu w kontekście Bangladeszu. W badaniu wykorzystano model PRISMA i uwzględniono 70 artykułów naukowych na temat GSCM opublikowanych w Scopus i indeksowanych czasopismach Web of Science w kontekście krajów rozwijających się, w tym 21 artykułów na temat Bangladeszu. W przedstawionych tutaj dokumentach zidentyfikowano bariery i krytyczne czynniki sukcesu we wdrażaniu GSCM poprzez przegląd wybranych artykułów, w tym zagadnienia teoretyczne i praktyczne. Ponadto wskazuje, że liczba badań empirycznych dotyczących GSCM gwałtownie wzrosła w ciągu ostatnich kilku lat. Ten artykuł przeglądowy pomoże menedżerom, badaczom, naukowcom i decydentom w lepszym zrozumieniu praktyk GSCM w Bangladeszu i innych krajach rozwijających się.

W ostatnich latach wzrasta presja ze strony klientów, społeczności lokalnych, organizacji międzynarodowych, agencji rządowych i innych interesariuszy wobec świata biznesu w zakresie oczekiwań dotyczących ochrony środowiska. Celem opracowania jest więc ustalenie w jakim wymiarze przedsiębiorstwa przewartościowały podejście do zarządzania w łańcuchach dostaw w kierunku działań „zielonych”. Badania przeprowadzono wśród podmiotów zarejestrowanych w Polsce. W opracowaniu między innymi ustalono, że najbardziej popularne są działania realizowane w obszarze polityki produktowej, natomiast w najmniejszym stopniu działania wykonywane na linii producent – dostawca. Może to świadczyć o niskim poziomie rozwoju łańcuchów zielonych oraz o łatwiejszej możliwości egzekwowania zielonych zachowań od podmiotów z górnych odcinków łańcuchów dostaw.
In recent years the customers, local communities, international organizations, government agencies and other stake-holders have put pressure on the world of business for environmental protection. The aim of the study is to determine to what extent enterprises have re-evaluated the approach to management in the supply chain towards “green” activities. The research was conducted among entities registered in Poland. The study, among other things, established that most frequent activities are those implemented in the area of product policy, while the least frequent activities are those implemented in the line of producer-supplier activities. This may indicate a low level of development of green chains and an easier way to enforce green behaviour from entities from the upper section of the supply chain.

Głównym celem poniższego artykułu jest analiza koncepcji zielonego łańcucha dostaw (ZŁD) przez pryzmat trzech podejść teorii organizacji i zarządzania: (1) podejścia systemowego, (2) podejścia procesowego oraz (3) wpływu kultury organizacyjnej na ZŁD. W pierwszej części artykułu pokrótce przedstawiono koncepcję zielonego łańcucha dostaw. Następnie przystąpiono do analizy ZŁD z perspektywy trzech teorii organizacji i zarządzania. Podczas analizy autor położył szczególny nacisk na identyfikację czynników, które wpływają na skuteczną implementację ZŁD. W ostatniej części dokonano krytycznej refleksji nad przeprowadzoną analizą oraz zidentyfikowano główne wyzwanie jakie stoi przed menadżerami zarządzającymi zielonymi łańcuchami.
The main purpose of this article is to analyze the concept of the green supply chain (GSC) through three organizational and management theories: (1) system approach, (2) process approach and (3) organizational culture approach. In the first part of the article the author briefly outlined the concept of the green supply chain. Then he analyzed the GSC concept through the perspective of three organizational theories. During the analysis author especially emphasized the identification of main factors that influence the effective implementation of GSC. In the last part the author made a critical reflection on the analysis and identified the main challenge faced by CEOs managing green chains.

Jako narzędzie naukowe wykorzystano analizę literatury.
Due to the rapid growth of significance of sustainable development in recent years, there have been many ideas regarding the practical application of environmental and social concepts in business management. Many of these concepts include the field of supply chain management, which is also a very evolutionary issue. One of the main areas of supply chain management is supplier relationship management. Our goal is to present environmental and social aspects of supplier relationship management taking into consideration individual approaches of specific researchers and to aggregate the gathered information. As a research tool, we used literature analysis, taking into account current works of researchers.

Green supply chain management (GSCM) practices are considered as vital practices in tackling environmental issues faced by firms. This study examines the relationship between GSCM, environmental and financial performance of firms. Further, the study examines the mediating role of operational performance between the relationships of GSCM-environmental performance and GSCM-financial performance. Additionally, the moderating role of external pressures (regulatory and customer pressures) has been examined on the relationship of GSCM and operational performance. Methods: Data from 277 executives working in different industries of Pakistan (where GSCM practices have been adopted) has been collected for the study. Results: The results of the mediated regression analysis confirm the partial mediation of operational performance between GSCM, environmental and financial performance. The results of moderated regression analysis confirm that presence of external pressures enhances the relationship between GSCM and operational performance. Conclusions: These results suggest that the adoption of GSCM practices in Pakistan can be fruitful for the companies. Mandatory requirement by regulatory authorities can also be helpful in adoption of the GSCM practices which ensure environmental performance of firms and consequently the betterment of overall environment.

Environmentally and socially responsive supply chains are in the early adoption stages in India. Global supply chains need worldwide goals, and the key to the success of Green Supply Chain Management is to bring the worldwide industry together to decide upon and pledge to work towards reasonable and concrete goals that will make a real difference to the environment. Customers are increasingly demanding to know where products come from, how they are made and distributed and what impact future environmental legislations will have on the products they buy. The aim of this paper is to provide action plans and facilitate knowledge among supply chain practitioner that they need to go green the business efficiently, and communicate these efforts to their customers, partners, and the public. In fact, the paper discusses the key drivers for green initiatives include government compliance, improved customer and public relations, a decreased fuel bill and financial ROI through various supply chain initiatives such as reverse logistics. Further, increasing supply chain efficiency, improving investor relations, decreasing risk and a larger corporate responsibility agenda are identified as important factors in the strategic decision to go green. Companies working in India are not properly addressing these measures in supply chain design and operations. That is why, the paper further elaborates strategic management of green supply chain, which involves collecting and analyzing environmental regulations and customer concerns, discussing the relevant environmental issues with the procurement, manufacturing and quality control departments across the supply chain firms and finally developing and communicating the green supply chain policies to all members of the supply chain i.e. supplier’s supplier to customer’s customer.

The article discusses the key aspects of the concept of environmental logistics and its difference from "green logistics". lt is proposed to consider green logistics for the logistic distribution and distribution function. The problems of the formation of green supply chains in logistics are considered. The environmental factors of influence on the formation of logistics routes are a nalyzed using the example of calculating carbon dioxide emissions by different modes of transport. The ana lysis of statistical materiał on carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere is carried out on the example of a comparison between Ukraine and Hungary (EU). The factors influencing the formation of green supply chains are substantiated.
Artykuł omawia kluczowe aspekty koncepcji logistyki środowiskowej i jej różnicę od „zielonej logistyki". Proponuje się rozważenie zielonej logistyki dla funkcji logistycznej dystrybucji i dystrybucji. Uwzględniono problemy związane z tworzeniem zielonych łańcuchów dostaw w logistyce. Czynniki środowiskowe wpływające na tworzenie tras logistycznych są analizowane na przykładzie obliczania emisji dwutlenku węgla dla różnych środków transportu. Analiza materiału statystycznego dotyczącego emisji dwutlenku węgla do atmosfery jest przeprowadzana na przykładzie porównania między Ukrainą a Węgrami (UE). Czynniki wpływające na tworzenie zielonych łańcuchów dostaw są uzasadnione.

The concern of academics and practitioners towards the environment and the inclusion of green practices in the supply chain is important in the literature. However, in the context of the hospitality industry, further investigation is needed. The present study aims to examine the nexus between green supply management practices on the competitive advantage and organizational performance of 5-star hotels in Bali, Indonesia. The quantitative design adopted in this study involved 145 respondents from 5-star hotels in Bali, Indonesia, then analyzed using SmartPLS software. The results revealed that green supply chain management practices positively and significantly affect the performance and competitive advantage of five-star hotels. Also, the results show that competitive advantage functions as a mediator. The theoretical research findings are the relationship between variables, especially competitive advantage as a mediator variable, while from a practical point of view it shows that managers need to build competitive advantage to strengthen hotel business performance. Therefore, green supply chain management practices are recommended to be applied in five-star hotels as an effective competitive advantage strategy.
Troska naukowców i praktyków o środowisko oraz włączenie zielonych praktyk w łańcuch dostaw jest ważnym tematem w literaturze. Jednak w kontekście branży hotelarskiej potrzebne są dalsze badania. Niniejsze badanie ma na celu zbadanie powiązania między praktykami ekologicznego zarządzania dostawami a przewagą konkurencyjną i wydajnością organizacyjną 5-gwiazdkowych hoteli na Bali w Indonezji. Projekt ilościowy przyjęty w tym badaniu objął 145 respondentów z 5-gwiazdkowych hoteli na Bali w Indonezji, a następnie został przeanalizowany za pomocą oprogramowania SmartPLS. Wyniki wykazały, że praktyki zarządzania zielonym łańcuchem dostaw mają pozytywny i znaczący wpływ na wyniki i przewagę konkurencyjną hoteli pięciogwiazdkowych. Pokazują również tę przewagę konkurencyjną jako mediatorzy. Wyniki badań teoretycznych dotyczą relacji między zmiennymi, zwłaszcza przewagi konkurencyjnej jako zmiennej mediatora, natomiast z praktycznego punktu widzenia pokazuje to, że menedżerowie muszą budować przewagę konkurencyjną, aby wzmocnić wyniki biznesowe hoteli. Dlatego zaleca się stosowanie praktyk zarządzania zielonym łańcuchem dostaw w hotelach pięciogwiazdkowych jako skutecznej strategii przewagi konkurencyjnej.

Recently, operational and supply chain management practices are considered the foremost solution for high operational performance and gain recent researchers' intentions. Thus, the present study aims to examine the role of operational management practices such as extensive training, teamwork, total quality management and just-in-time on the multinational organization's operational performance in Vietnam. The goals also include the examination of the mediating impact of green practices of supply chain among the nexus of operational management practices and operational performance of the multinational organization in Vietnam. The operational and supply chain managers of the multinational organization in Vietnam are the respondents of the study that have been selected by using purposive sampling. The questionnaires have been sued for the data collection, and smart-PLS has been executed for analysis. The results revealed that all the operational management practices have a positive and significant association with multinational organizations’ operational performance in Vietnam. The findings also exposed that the supply chain's green practices are positively mediating among the nexus of operational management practices and operational performance of the multinational organization in Vietnam. These outcomes are suitable for the regulators to develop the policies related to the operational and supply chain practices that could increase organizational performance.
Ostatnio praktyki zarządzania operacyjnego i zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw są uważane za najważniejsze rozwiązanie zapewniające wysoką wydajność operacyjną i zyskują najnowsze zamierzenia badaczy. W związku z tym niniejsze badanie ma na celu zbadanie roli praktyk zarządzania operacyjnego, takich jak szeroko zakrojone szkolenia, praca zespołowa, kompleksowe zarządzanie jakością i „just in time” na wyniki operacyjne organizacji wielonarodowej w Wietnamie. Cele obejmują również zbadanie pośredniczącego wpływu ekologicznych praktyk w łańcuchu dostaw w powiązaniu praktyk zarządzania operacyjnego i wyników operacyjnych wielonarodowej organizacji w Wietnamie. Kierownicy operacyjni i łańcucha dostaw międzynarodowej organizacji w Wietnamie są respondentami badania, którzy zostali wybrani na podstawie celowego pobierania próbek. Kwestionariusze zostały pozwane w celu zebrania danych, a smart-PLS został wykonany do analizy. Wyniki ujawniły, że wszystkie praktyki zarządzania operacyjnego mają pozytywny i znaczący związek z wynikami operacyjnymi organizacji międzynarodowych w Wietnamie. Ustalenia ujawniły również, że zielone praktyki łańcucha dostaw pozytywnie pośredniczą w powiązaniu praktyk zarządzania operacyjnego i wyników operacyjnych wielonarodowej organizacji w Wietnamie. Wyniki te są odpowiednie dla organów regulacyjnych do opracowania polityk związanych z praktykami operacyjnymi i praktykami łańcucha dostaw, które mogą zwiększyć wydajność organizacji.

The concept of green logistics meets the expectations of various groups of stakeholders who, being aware of the negative impact of logistics processes on the natural environment, encourage enterprises to start implementing environmentally friendly solutions, thus ensuring the economic efficiency of these processes. The implementation of green solutions takes place in four stages and their advancement increases at each stage. The highest stages require cooperation with other enterprises. The article deals with the subject of undertaking this kind of cooperation by small and medium-sized enterprises in a supply chain. The aim is to identify which chain participants most often establish cooperation in the area of green logistics with these companies in Poland. It was found that the most intense cooperation takes place with a supply chain leader and suppliers. At the highest level of advancement a horizontal cooperation with competitors is also established.
Koncepcja zielonej logistyki wychodzi naprzeciw oczekiwaniom różnych grup interesariuszy, którzy mając świadomość negatywnego wpływu procesów logistycznych na środowisko naturalne, oddziałują na przedsiębiorstwa tak, aby zaczęły one wdrażać rozwiązania przyjazne środowisku, zapewniając jednak efektywność ekonomiczną tych procesów Wdrażanie zielonych rozwiązań następuje w czterech etapach, na każdym z nich rośnie stopień ich zaawansowania. Etapy najwyższe wymagają podjęcia współpracy z innymi przedsiębiorstwami. W artykule poruszono tematykę podejmowania takiej współpracy przez małe i średnie przedsiębiorstwa w łańcuchu dostaw. Celem było rozpoznanie, z którymi uczestnikami łańcucha przedsiębiorstwa te najczęściej nawiązują współpracę w zakresie zielonej logistyki w Polsce. Ustalono, że najintensywniejsza współpraca zachodzi z liderem łańcucha oraz z dostawcami, a na najwyższym stopniu zaawansowania nawiązywana jest także współpraca horyzontalna z konkurentami.

The study is aimed to examine the effects of driver’s pressures such as owner mangers attitude, green consumers, and government regulations on green supply chain management performance while mediating by green practices of hotel industry. However, for fulfilling above mentioned purpose, collect the data from medium and small scale hotels enterprises in Thailand. 250 questionnaires were distributed among employees out of whom 215 were received from the respondents. The simple random sampling technique was used for data collection. Therefore, in this way it is easier to understand that how mangers of the organization, internal and external consumers and government regulations of the enterprises affect the green supply chain management performance, how green practices affect the relationship. The data of this study collected through self-administrated questionnaires. Data were analyzed by using Smart PLS. The results of the study elaborated that all hypothesis is accepted and shows the positive influence on green supply chain management performance. Further at the end of study, the limitation and future direction for further studies is also expounded.
Przedstawiony artykuł dotyczy zbadania wpływu nacisków czynników, takich jak właściciele menedżerowie, ekologiczni konsumenci oraz regulacji rządowych na wydajność zarządzania zielonym łańcuchem dostaw, przy jednoczesnym pośrednictwie zielonych praktyk branży hotelarskiej. Aby jednak zrealizować powyższy cel, zebrano dane od średnich i małych przedsiębiorstw hotelowych w Tajlandii. Rozdano 250 kwestionariuszy wśród pracowników, z czego 215 otrzymano od respondentów. Do gromadzenia danych zastosowano prostą technikę losowego próbkowania. Dlatego w ten sposób łatwiej zrozumieć, w jaki sposób menedżerowie organizacji, konsumenci wewnętrzni i zewnętrzni oraz regulacje rządowe przedsiębiorstw wpływają na zarządzanie zielonym łańcuchem dostaw, jak zielone praktyki wpływają na relacje. Dane z tego badania zebrano za pomocą kwestionariuszy. Dane analizowano przy użyciu Smart PLS. Wyniki badania wykazały, że wszystkie hipotezy są akceptowane i pokazują pozytywny wpływ na wydajność zarządzania zielonym łańcuchem dostaw. Na końcu artykułu wyjaśniono również ograniczenia i przyszłe kierunki dalszych badań.

Background: The objective of this research is to identify the relationship between green logistics operations, national economic and environmental indicators in a panel of 42 selected global ranked logistics countries over the period from 2007 to 2018. The study aims to expand the domain of green logistics from the micro/firm level to the macro level. Methods: This research paper has used a summary OLS (Ordinary Least Squares) method to test hypotheses. From 2007 to 2018, data panels for 42 countries were downloaded from the World Bank website. Results: The findings of this study indicate that in selected panel countries, the green logistics business has a positive and statistically significant relationship with foreign direct investment inflows, renewable energy consumption, and energ demand. On the other hand, there is a significant negative correlation between CO2 emissions and green logistics. In addition, foreign direct investment and renewable energy are the driving factors of the green logistics business and also promote environmental sustainability. Conclusions: This research paper provides insights into the relationship between green logistics operations and economic and environmental sustainability. In addition, the scope of this research paper is much broader than previously published research papers, in which researchers discovered the relationship between green logistics and corporate performance. However, this research paper focuses on the macro level to understand the link between green logistics and national size indicators.
Wstęp: Celem pracy jest zidentyfikowanie zależności pomiędzy operacjami zielonej logistyki wskaźnikami ekonomicznymi i ekologicznymi w oparciu o panel 42 wybranych krajów z globalnego rankingu logistycznej w okresie od 2007 do 2018. Badanie to w szczególności rozszerza domenę zielonej logistyki z poziomu mikro czy poszczególnych przedsiębiorstw do skali makro. Metody: W celu testowania hipotez zastosowano metodę OLS (najmniejszych kwadratów). Dane dotyczące wybranych 42 krajów zostały pobrane ze strony internetowej Banku Światowego dla okresu od 2007 do 2018. Wyniki: Uzyskane wyniki pokazują statystycznie istotną i pozytywną współzależność z bezpośrednimi zagranicznymi inwestycjami, konsumpcją energii odnawialnej oraz popytem na energię w analizowanych krajach. Z drugiej strony emisja CO2 oraz zielona logistyką są istotnie negatywne ze sobą skorelowane. Dodatkowo, FDI oraz źródła energii odnawialnej są kluczowymi czynnikami wspomagającymi operacje zielonej logistyki, która prowadzi do zrównoważonego rozwoju pod względem ekologicznym. Wnioski: Prezentowana praca daje wgląd w zależności pomiędzy operacjami zielonej logistyki a ekonomicznym i ekologicznym rozwojem zrównoważonym. Dodatkowo, praca ta ma znacznie szerszy zakres niż wcześniejsze prace dotyczące tej tematyki, w których to zostały przedstawione zależności pomiędzy zieloną logistyką a działalnością firmy. Prezentowana praca skupia się ma poziomie makro w celu uchwycenia zależności pomiędzy zieloną logistyką a wskaźnikami na poziomie krajowym.

We are currently dealing with disruptions in supply chains. They come from faulty production systems, in poor organization of distribution processes or are related to external factors, often unseen. Consequently, it is necessary to build resistant chains. This article discusses this topic in the context of the basic types of supply chains, i.e. agile, lean and green. The aim of the study was to assess the types of chains in which the tested production entities are embedded and check if the proposed models of building resilience take this into account. The reason this should be investigated further, is to indicate relationships in areas that are rarely captured in research models. Both quantitative and qualitative methods were used in the work. Interviews were conducted in over seventy subjects and a critical analysis of the literature on model of resilient supply chains was performed. As a result of the work undertaken, it can be concluded, inter alia, that in the economic reality, there are hybrid chains in which the characteristics of pro-saving chains prevail. It was also established that the proposed research models for resilient chains should take into account, to greater extent, accents compatible with the nature of the chains occurring an economic reality. It is also necessary to extend their content to include pro-environmental components. At the same time, it is not unequivocal that the chains with the advantage of agility-related attributes are more resistant than the chains in which the greater concentration is attributed to the attributes of lean or green chains. Determining this requires further research.

The global supply chain has been growing strongly in recent years. This development brings many benefits to the economy, society, and human resources in each country but also causes a large number of concerns related to the environment since traditional logistics activities in the supply chain have been releasing a significant amount of emissions. For that reason, many solutions have been proposed to deal with these environmental pollution problems. Among these, three promising solutions are expected to completely solve environmental problems in every supply chain: (I) Application of blockchain in the supply chain, (II) Use of renewable energy and alternative fuels, and (III) Design of a closed supply chain. However, it seems to lack a comprehensive study of these solutions aiming to overcome the drawbacks of traditional logistics. Indeed, this work focuses on analyzing and evaluating the three above-mentioned solutions and the impacts of each solution on solving problems related to traditional logistics. More importantly, this work also identifies critical factors and challenges such as policies, laws, awareness, and risks that are found to be remarkable difficulties in the shifting progress of traditional logistics to green logistics. Finally, directions for developing and deploying green solutions to the logistics, supply chain, and shipping sectors toward decarbonization strategies and net-zero goals are discussed in detail.

The environmental pressures and accompanying market trends require chain managers to reorient their approach to chain construction and management. New business models are gaining popularity, but interesting from a research point of view is whether organizations are aware of the greening of the environment in which pro-environmental aspects are implemented, or whether there is a difference between the assessment of supply chain performance depending on the extent of the environmental aspects being implemented. The results of the research indicate that there is a gap in both research and practical aspects. The difficulty is ignorance of how the chain can be assessed, in terms of its greening, often the awareness of the importance of problems is not used in relation to the environment. It is important to pursue further research in this area and implement solutions to economic practice, since only in this way will environmental aspects really change the supply chain.
