Opis:
Advanced Virgo detector joined advanced LIGO twin detectors on 1st August 2017 in the quest to look for the gravitational waves. The global network of three detectors was operational for 25 days until the LIGO shut down on 25th August 2017. Two gravitational wave events were registered during this period. One of them was the binary black hole merger dubbed as GW170814 and other one is binary neutron star merger referred to as GW170817. Electromagnetic counterpart associated with binary neutron star merger was promptly identified which marks the beginning of multi-messenger astronomy. This article describes these events emphasizing on the crucial role played by the Virgo and focusing on some methodological issues.

Opis:
In the framework of contemporary cosmology, the age-old aspiration to inquire the outer limits of the universe translates into our effort to observe the initial stages of cosmic history. Thanks to a fortunate combination of astronomical circumstances, and pushing mm-wave technology to its limits, today we are able to image the early universe in great detail, back at a time (t ∼ 380,000 yr) when cosmic age was only 0.0027% of its present value. The state of the art in the field has been set by the ESA Planck mission, launched in 2009, dedicated to precision measurements of the cosmic microwave background (CMB). Planck observed the full sky for 4 years in a wide frequency range, reaching μK sensitivity both in temperature and polarization. The latest results, published by the Planck Collaboration in 2018, are in exquisite agreement with the simplest 6-parameter ΛCDM model and constrain the main cosmological parameters with percent-level accuracy. Furthermore, the Planck data yield insight on the very early universe (t ∼ 10-35s), opening the way to a new generation of experiments searching for the possible signatures of primordial gravitational waves in the CMB polarization pattern.

Opis:
Recent measurements of cerebral quantitative electroencephalographic power densities within the first three harmonics of the earth-ionosphere Schumann resonances and the same order of magnitude for both systems electric and magnetic (pT) fields suggest the possibility of direct intercalation or interaction. The phase modulations of the Schumann propagations and those associated with consciousness are very similar. Quantitative solutions from contemporary values for the physical parameters of the human brain and the earth-ionospheric resonances suggest that electromagnetic information maintained during the first 30 min of experience could be also represented within a property of the (Hilbert) space occupied by the ionospheric wave guide within the earth’s magnetic field. Several astronomical phenomena, including gravitational waves and the neutral hydrogen line, display physical properties with magnitudes matching cerebral electromagnetic activity particularly during light sleep. The presence of Schumann frequencies within the human brain may have greater significance than hereto assumed for the human species.

Opis:
Gravitational Waves are a new form of energy that is too sensitive to measure. The study of Gravitational Waves paves a unique way to approach the new era of universal science. It is quite interesting to note that experimental proof of the early theory of Einstein is successfully proven after many years. The manuscript depicts the concepts of Gravitational Waves, propagation of Gravitational Waves, its effect on objects on Earth and various factors that affect the measurements along with their method of approach to detect Gravitational Waves. Detecting Gravitational Waves is a tedious process and it requires a very highly sensitive experimental setup to carry out the detection as well as on considering the current trend of technology it is observed that detection faces massive limitations. Detection of Gravitational Waves opens up a new way for understanding supermassive binary systems such as neutron stars and black holes and also for studying on Early universe history.

Opis:
A non-electromagnetic theory of light is proposed, according to which the light-bearing medium is non-baryonic (unstructured) matter as the main component of the substance of the universe. The theory is based on available data on the existence in the intergalactic medium of closed density waves, which are combined into structural elements (particles) of baryonic matter. On the basis of the principle of the equivalence of mass and energy, and also of the theory of waves, the basic relations between the parameters of non-baryonic matter are derived and the possibility of the appearance of running waves in it that make it visible is shown. The unity of the properties of non-baryonic matter with ether is emphasized, and the absence in the theory of contradictions inherent in the electromagnetic concept of light. Experimental evidence of the proposed theory is presented and new approaches to a number of difficultly explainable phenomena, including levitation, are discussed.
