Opis:
The aim of the article is to show the tetrad of educational environments, according to Janusz Morbitzer (Morbitzer, 2014, s. 120), which influence young people who exist dichotomously in the real and virtual world. Living „between” the real and digitized world, the global teenager tries to mark his activity and decision-making. On the one hand, he wants to leave his personalized trace in the offline space and on the other hand, he wants to join a uniform digital online community. The growing so-called „axiological shift” towards the domination of material values, social and civilizational entropy contribute to the fact that educational processes are becoming more and more difficult, sometimes even impossible to implement. Lack of understanding of a specific axiological concept prevents its introception, and therefore practical respect and living in accordance with a given axiological category.
Celem artykułu jest ukazanie tetrady (Kłos, 2013, s. 105) środowisk wychowawczych według Janusza Morbitzera (2014, s. 120), które oddziałują na młodzież dychotomicznie egzystującą w świecie realnym i wirtualnym. Żyjąc „pomiędzy” światem rzeczywistym a zdygitalizowanym, globalny nastolatek stara się zaznaczać swoją aktywność i decyzyjność. Z jednej strony pragnie zostawić swój spersonalizowany ślad w przestrzeni offline a drugiej strony dołączyć do zuniformizowanej cyfrowej społeczności online. Narastające, tak zwane „przesunięcie aksjologiczne”, w stronę dominacji wartości materialnych, entropia społeczna i cywilizacyjna przyczynia się do tego, że procesy wychowawcze są coraz trudniejsze, niekiedy wręcz niemożliwe do zrealizowania. Brak zrozumienia konkretnego pojęcia aksjologicznego uniemożliwia jego introcepcję, a więc praktyczne respektowanie i życie zgodne z daną kategorią aksjologiczną.

The purpose of the study is to try to formulate an answer to the question of how the war waged in Ukraine and the conflict with the West are assessed by influential Russian geopoliticians. The empirical basis of the conducted research is provided by the articles contained in the leading Russian geopolitical journal "Russia in Global Affairs" in the period from May 2022 to May 2023. The opinions of their authors range from disapproval of Russia's actions in Ukraine, serious fears of a break in relations with the West and Russia's descent into isolation, to full acceptance of these actions treated as a struggle of the "world majority" led by Russia against the hegemony of the West. Some researchers look for the positives of Russia's situation, which gives the impression of "putting a good face on a bad game," while others express fears of disaster, i.e. the collapse of state power and the disintegration of Russia.
Celem opracowania jest próba sformułowania odpowiedzi na pytanie jak prowadzoną na Ukrainie wojnę i konflikt z Zachodem oceniają wpływowi geopolitycy rosyjscy. Empiryczną podstawą są artykuły zawarte w czołowym rosyjskim czasopiśmie geopolitycznym „Russia in Global Affairs” w okresie od maja 2022 do maja 2023. Opinie ich autorów są zróżnicowane: od dezaprobaty w stosunku do działań Rosji na Ukrainie, poważnych obaw przed zerwaniem relacji z Zachodem i popadnięciem Rosji w izolację, po pełną akceptację tych działań traktowanych jako walka „światowej większości” pod przewodnictwem Rosji z hegemonią Zachodu. Jedni badacze doszukują się pozytywów sytuacji Rosji, co sprawia wrażenie „robienia dobrej miny do złej gry”, podczas gdy inni wyrażają obawy o katastrofę, czyli załamanie się władzy państwowej i rozpad Rosji.

Aim: The alteration of the planetary climate, mainly because of human activity, could trigger ecological, economic, and social impacts capable of disrupting the forms of life on the planet. In this context, the influence of psychosocial factors on the environmental awareness and the way in which these factors can for support pro-environmental behaviors is researched on the example of students from a Chilean university.  Design / Research methods: Transactional exploratory mixed research. Bibliographic review and application of a survey to the community of a Chilean university (n=134). The process consisted mainly of two stages: (1) literature review and (2) survey application.  Conclusions / Findings: The reviewed authors agree that people exhibit pro-environmental behaviors when they are sufficiently informed about environmental problems, have a favorable attitude towards them and can generate effective qualitative changes that do not cause significant difficulties later on. The results of the survey applied to the university sample show that the respondents can perceive the damage of global warming and have pro-environmental behaviors in greater proportion compared to the bibliographic data reviewed. The results are exploratory; however, they provide a focus for future research in this context.  Originality / Value of the article: This article offers an updated perspective on perceptions in relation to climate change and pro-environmental behaviors, based on the case study. Additionally, it offers a proposal for the intervention of university educational plans.  Keywords: global warming, pro-environmental behaviors, society, sustainability  JEL: I23, Q01, O44

The awareness of the society that it is responsible for what the nature looks like, as well as for developing human relations, results in the popularization of the idea of sustainable development. The aim of thos study is to present an analysis of the literature on the subject focused on the description of the reality and possible directions of changes in education, considering it as global challenges in three aspects of sustainable development: the economic, ecological and social. The greatest challenge today is to create a multidimensional view of a constantly deepening social and environmental crisis. The change that should be made in education should concern the processes that are aimed at combining the three aspects and at balancing their importance. The essence of education for sustainable development was shown in shaping the values, empathy and awareness that are needed to act for society, as well as the environment and the economy on a global scale.

The article analyzes the features of “Generation Z” as a harbinger of future planetary civilization. Attention is paid to information and digital technologies that affect the world community, rapidly transforming it into a single world, forming a “digital generation” that is effectively adapted to the new socio-cultural reality and feels more “citizens of the world” than their own country. The article analyzes the features of “Generation Z” as a harbinger of future planetary civilization. Attention is paid to information and digital technologies that affect the world community, rapidly transforming it into a single world, forming a “digital generation” that is effectively adapted to the new socio-cultural reality and feels more “citizens of the world” than their own country. The most important condition for their socialization is the construction of social reality, adaptation to new environmental conditions, its symbolization, separation of “their world”, restructuring of environmental conditions according to the thesaurus, built under the influence of macro- and microsocial factors, according to its symbolic universe. The interconnected processes of globalization and informationalization of society are revealed, which directly blur the boundaries of the modern interstate system, creating a contradictory and heterogeneous global society with a cosmopolitan worldview. The cosmopolitan approach is substantiated, which, overcoming state borders, allows to go beyond national practices, promotes their integration into the new world context through the establishment of a “compromise” of cultural, religious, ethnic and other differences. Cosmopolitanism is becoming a worldview and ideological platform and ontological unity of the planetary community. The modern generation needs to find its own way of mastering society. In order to understand the vicissitudes and metamorphoses of the modern world, we need a different perception of reality and the transformation of worldviews, values, the formation of a new identity. It is important not only to act locally, but also to think globally, systematically, taking into account particular and universal interests, immediate and long-term goals. The formation of a single world community, the formation of a global civil society, which in the long run must necessarily be formed as a result of overcoming fragmentation and the formation of a holistic world – „eternal peace” is becoming increasingly apparent.
У статті проаналізовано особливості «покоління Z» як провісника майбутньої планетарної цивілізації. Звернено увагу на інформаційно-цифрові технології, що впливають на світове співтовариство, стрімко перетворюючи його на єдиний світ, формуючи «цифрове покоління» – людей, які ефективно адаптовані до умов нової соціокультурної реальности й почуваються швидше «громадянами світу», ніж власної країни. Найважливішою умовою їхньої соціалізації є конструювання соціальної реальности, адаптація до нових умов середовища, його символізація, виокремлення зони «свого світу», переструктурування умов середовища відповідно до тезаурусу, що вибудовується під впливом макро- та мікросоціальних факторів відповідно до свого символічного універсуму. Розкрито взаємопов’язані процеси глобалізації, інформатизації суспільства, які безпосередньо розмивають межі сучасної міждержавної системи, створюючи суперечливий та неоднорідний глобальний соціум із космополітичним світоглядом. Обґрунтовано космополітичний підхід, який, долаючи державні кордони, дає можливість вийти за межі національних практик, сприяє їхній інтеграції в новий світовий контекст на основі утвердження «компромісу» культурних, релігійних, етнічних та інших відмінностей. Космополітизм стає світоглядно-ідеологічною платформою й онтологічною єдністю планетарного співтовариства. Сучасному поколінню необхідно шукати свій шлях освоювання суспільства. Для того, щоб розібратися в перипетіях і метаморфозах сучасного світу, потрібне інше сприйняття дійсности і трансформація світоглядних позицій, ціннісних установок, формування нової ідентичности. Важливо не тільки діяти локально, а й мислити глобально, системно, з урахуванням партикулярних і універсальних інтересів, найближчих і віддалених цілей. Все більш очевидним стає формування єдиного світового співтовариства, становлення глобального громадянського суспільства, яке в перспективі з необхідністю має сформуватися внаслідок подолання фрагментарности й формування цілісного світу – «вічного миру».

The aim of the article’s author is to reflect on the essence of civil society in the context of social migration. There are many concepts in the literature on the description of citizenship and the definition of the phenomenon of population migration, which the author cites in the article, however, the assumption of this publication is to induce reflection on the impact of population migration on the implementation of citizens’ rights and obligations. It is impossible not to notice the huge range of impact of migration on many areas of life, and in particular on the functioning of civil society. Nowadays, social and economic changes are constantly occurring, causing society to mix, and in addition to the fact that they obviously become theoretically unified in the community, it should be noted that in practice the situation of civil society in individual countries is becoming increasingly complicated. Migration of the population should therefore be considered as a factor limiting the citizen in terms of his civil rights and obligations, without which the institution of civil society collapses.
Celem autorki artykułu jest podjęcie rozważań na temat istoty społeczeństwa obywatelskiego w kontekście migracji społecznych. W literaturze występuje wiele koncepcji opisu obywatelskości oraz definicji zjawiska migracji ludności, które autorka przytacza w artykule, jednakże założeniem niniejszego opracowania jest skłonienie do refleksji na temat wpływu migracji ludności na realizację praw i obowiązków obywateli. Nie sposób bowiem nie zauważyć ogromnego zasięgu oddziaływania migracji na wiele dziedzin życia, a w szczególności na funkcjonowanie społeczeństwa obywatelskiego. W dzisiejszych czasach nieustannie zachodzą przemiany społeczne oraz gospodarcze powodujące mieszanie się społeczeństwa i oprócz tego, że oczywiście stają się one teoretycznie wspólnotowo ujednolicone, to należy zauważyć, że w praktyce sytuacja społeczeństwa obywatelskiego w poszczególnych państwach staje się coraz bardziej skomplikowana. Migracje ludności należy zatem uznać za czynnik ograniczający obywatela w zakresie jego praw i obowiązków obywatelskich, bez których instytucja społeczeństwa obywatelskiego upada.

The article presents the current evolution of the global information society and the problem of digital divide. An additional category is globalization, which has been presented as an accelerator for the development of a global information society. The role of ICT in filling the development gap between regions of the world was identified on the basis of the UN classification. The concept of “digital divide” was introduced as a synonym for a new kind of development gap between the rich North and the poor South, and analysis of data from UN publications showed a constant high diversity of the global information society, which is clearly regionalized.

The world is currently facing many changes, not only technological ones, but also economical and geopolitical changes as well as those in the way of thinking. We must bear in mind that every change creates new opportunities as well as challenges. Without doubt the key to shaping the future should be creativity and imagination. It is equally important to skillfully use the opportunities that technology brings, so as to acquire new knowledge and create new values, by creating connections between people and objects and between worlds – real and virtual. It gives new opportunities for seeking and finding effective ways of solving problems in society, creating better living conditions, as well as maintaining proper economic growth. However, for the above to be possible, it is necessary to overcome various types of barriers and obstacles, which should be facilitated by the inclusion of many diverse stakeholders (on many levels), so that a shared vision of the future may be created. The idea of Society 5.0 is not a utopian vision of the future, but it is a concept that shows one version of the future to which the World, or at least its richer part, is heading. The article presents the basic assump ons of the title idea, and due to the broadness of the issue, typically technical issues are deliberately omitted.
Świat stoi obecnie w obliczu wielu zmian – nie tylko technologicznych, lecz także gospodarczych i geopolitycznych oraz tych w sposobie myślenia i światopoglądzie. Musimy mieć na uwadze, że każda zmiana stwarza nowe możliwości oraz wyzwania. Bez wątpienia kluczem do kształtowania przyszłości powinna być kreatywność i wyobraźnia. Równie ważnym jest, aby umiejętnie i w pełni wykorzystać szanse jakie niesie za sobą rozwój technologii, tak aby pozyskiwać nową wiedzę i tworzyć nowe wartości, kreując połączenia między ludźmi a przedmiotami oraz między światami – rzeczywistym i wirtualnym. Daje to nieznane dotąd możliwości poszukiwania i znajdowania skutecznych oraz efektywnych sposobów rozwiązywania problemów w społeczeństwie, tworzenia lepszych warunków życia, a także utrzymania właściwego wzrostu gospodarczego. Jednak aby powyższe było możliwe, niezbędne jest przezwyciężenie różnego rodzaju barier i przeszkód, czemu powinno służyć włączenie wielu, różnorodnych interesariuszy (na różnych poziomach), tak by powstała współdzielona wizja przyszłości. Idea Społeczeństwa 5.0 nie stanowi jej utopijnego wyobrażenia, ale jest konceptem, który pokazuje jedną z wersji do której świat – a przynajmniej jego bogatsza część – zmierza. W artykule zostały zaprezentowane podstawowe założenia tytułowej idei – z racji obszerności celowo pominięto zagadnienia i kwes e typowo techniczne.

Ostatnie dziesięciolecia charakteryzują się wielkim przyspieszeniem cywilizacyjnym. Nie wystarcza już tradycyjna zdolność adaptacyjna społeczeństwa do zamieniających się sytuacji społecznych, gospodarczych i technicznych. W artykule wykazuję, że trzeba podjąć zamierzone oddziaływania edukacyjne, skierowane szczególnie do ludzi dorosłych, którzy nie nadążają za zachodzącymi zmianami. Celem opracowania jest uświadomienie problemu globalizacji jako scalania rynków, kapitału, a także nowej idei i mechanizmów funkcjonowania współpracy z uwzględnieniem wielokulturowości. W tym kontekście ukazuję strategię rozwoju edukacji ze wskazaniem roli nauczyciela.
The last decades are characterized by a great acceleration of civilization. A traditional adaptability of the society to constantly changing social, economic and technical situations, are not yet sufficient. In this article, I am showing that it is necessary to undertake planned educational influences, directed particularly to adult people who do not follow up with those changes. The aim of this elaboration is to enlighten the problem of globalization as a market’s merge, the chapter of the new idea and mechanisms of cooperation functioning taking into account the multiculturalism, at the same time. In this context the development strategy of the education and showing the role the teacher is presented.

Opis:
Contemporary world has become a global ecumene. The theory of globalization as approached by R. Robertson invokes the world conceptualization which assumes reducing the tension between the dichotomous tendencies. Unification and diversification are complementary processes, they are mutually influential and essential for the contemporary stage of development of the global society. The paradigm of globalization on the social and cultural plane is revealed in the binary scheme of extremes, such as: decontextualization and recontextualization, decomposition and recomposition, deteritorialization and re-teritorialization, transculturation and internalization. The contemporary anti-globalist movement is a reflection of ideological opposition. The criticism of globalization remains in close connection to an increasingly lively discussion regarding alternatives to globalization. Specificity of the quality of global cultural ecumene reveals the need to shape and improve the orientation towards responsible participation and cooperation in the changing and co-dependent global society.

Opis:
Distance education conferences and publications have the longest tradition in Western world countries, where they are focused on introducing professional solutions into business and administration. In Asia, the implementation of distance education is linked to social development and global expansion of national business within the framework of government strategies. In Latin America and in Africa, distance education provides assistance in equalising educational opportunities and in promotion of peace. In post-communist countries, academic centres poorly cooperate with administration and business sectors, which offer competitive and most attractive distance education courses. Algorithmisation of distant education courses results in insufficient development of self-reliance, creativity, and empathy of employees.
