Opis:: Poruszona w artykule kwestia spuścizny Zofii Romanowiczówny, niezwykle istotnej i mało znanej, wkracza w obszar badań zarówno w dziedzinie historii kobiet, biografii, jak i historiografii. Działalność Zofii Romanowiczówny w wielu stowarzyszeniach, w tym przypadku Stowarzyszeniu Nauczycielek we Lwowie i Towarzystwie Oszczędności Kobiet, nie jest wystarczająco zbadana. Podjętą przez nią aktywność odnaleźć można w źródłach znajdujących się w Historycznym Archiwum Państwowym we Lwowie i Narodowej Bibliotece Naukowej im. Wasyla Stefanyka. Analiza spuścizny Romanowiczówny pozwoliła na ukazanie jej udziału we wspomnianych stowarzyszeniach, który podyktowany był jej ogromnym patriotyzmem i chęcią pomocy, a także na ukazaniu samych kobiecych stowarzyszeń.
The issue of ZofiaRomanowiczówna’s legacy, very important and little-known, enters the area of research both in the field of biographical, historiography and women studies. ZofiaRomanowiczówna’s activity in many associations, in this case Teachers Association in Lviv and Society of Women Frugality, are not sufficiently researched. The activity she undertook can be found on the references located in Historical State Archives in Lviv and Stefanyk National Science Library. The analysis of the references of Romanowiczówna’s legacy enabled me to show the women associations in Lviv and involvement of this Lviv woman, which was determined by her huge patriotism and willingness to help, but also by desire to examine her involvement in the women associations in Lviv.

Opis:: Die Sprache der Kulinarik ist nicht gleichgültig gegenüber den Ernährungsumstellungen der aufeinanderfolgenden Generationen. Während vor einem Jahrhundert in Kochbüchern empfohlen wurde, Reste zu verwerten und mit den für die Rezepte verwendeten Lebensmitteln sparsam umzugehen, setzen die kulinarischen Ratgeber von heute auf Nachhaltigkeit und nachhaltigen Genuss in der Küche und stellen zahlreiche Ideen gegen die Lebensmittelverschwendung und viele dazu dienende Applikationen mit ihrem neuen Vokabular zur Verfügung. In dem Beitrag wurden zwei Kochbücher einer linguistischen Untersuchung unterzogen: „Vobachs Kochbuch“ von Margarete Bauermeister aus dem Jahr 1923 und „Praktisches Kochbuch für die bürgerliche und feinere Küche“ von Henriette Davidis aus dem Jahr 1935, dessen erste Auflage auf das Jahr 1845 zurückdatiert wird. Zur Verdeutlichung der sprachlichen Neuorientierung im Bereich der Kulinarik wurden auch einige gut besuchte Online-Ratgeber aus dem Jahr 2023 herangezogen und ausgewertet. Da es in einem so kurzen Beitrag unmöglich ist, alle Aspekte der Kulinarik, die in einem Kochbuch behandelt werden können, zu untersuchen und auszuwerten, wird der Fokus auf die Begriffe sparsam und Sparsamkeit im Vergleich zu nachhaltig und Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. Das Hauptaugenmerk richtet sich auf den Wandel vom sparsamen Handeln in der Küche vor über hundert Jahrenhin zum nachhaltigen Handeln im Jahr 2023. Die Autorin untersucht die Gründe für diese Veränderung und analysiert sprachliche Ausdrücke in den alten und neuen Kochbüchern, nicht nur Sammlungen von Kochrezepten, sondern auch Ratgeber für Bereiche wie Produkte, Kücheneinrichtung, Küchenmöbel, Reinigung und Wiederverwertung.
The language of culinary arts is not indifferent to the dietary changes of successive generations. While a century ago cookbooks recommended using leftovers and being economical with the food used in recipes, today’s culinary guidebooks focus on sustainability and sustainable enjoyment in the kitchen and provide numerous ideas against food waste and many applications serving this purpose with their new vocabulary. In this article, two cookbooks were subjected to a linguistic examination: “Vobachs Kochbuch” by Margarete Bauermeister from 1923 and “Praktisches Kochbuch für die bürgerliche und feinere Küche” by Henriette Davidis from 1935, whose first edition dates back to 1845. To illustrate the linguistic reorientation in the culinary field, some well-visited online guidebooks from 2023 were also consulted and evaluated. Since it is impossible in such a short article to examine and evaluate all aspects of culinary that can be covered in a cookbook, the focus is placed on the terms frugal and thrifty in comparison to sustainable and sustainability. The main focus is on the change from being frugal in the kitchen over a hundred years ago to being sustainable in 2023. The author examines the reasons for this change and analyses linguistic expressions in the old and new cookbooks, which are not only collections of recipes but also guides to areas such as products, kitchen equipment, kitchen furniture, cleaning and recycling.

Opis:: The image of the historical athlete who enters the ancient Greek stadium is a perfect medium for clarifying the conceptual philosopher’s liberation from material bonds and ascent to the higher causal order in Porphyry’s On the Abstinence from Eating Flesh. The image is emphasized when Porphyry prescribes the practice of vegetarianism and immaterial sacrifice for the conceptual philosopher’s preparation for the specific ‘contest’ of freeing from material concerns such as food and sacrifice and eventual transformation in to the as the priest of the Highest God.
