Opis:: In order to study the cause of rail corrugation in the tangential braking section near the metro entrance, a transient rolling contact model of three-dimensional solid wheelset-track was established by using the finite element software ABAQUS, and the corrugation phenomenon was analyzed in the time-domain and frequency-domain based on the field measurement. The results show that the unstable friction self-excited vibration of the wheelset-track system is the fundamental cause of rail corrugation in the measured section, and it is precisely because of the “saturated-unsaturated” periodic characteristic of the wheel-rail creep force that ultimately promotes the formation of rail corrugation.

Opis:: W artykule przedstawiono propozycję metody wyznaczania współczynników tarcia suchego statycznego i kinetycznego dla par kinematycznych w warunkach drgań samowzbudnych występujących w wahadle Froude’a. W metodzie tej, w pierwszej kolejności należy wyznaczyć współczynnik tarcia kinetycznego, który następnie należy wykorzystać podczas obliczania współczynnika tarcia statycznego. Współczynniki tarcia wyznaczane są na podstawie pomiaru amplitudy drgań samowzbudnych wahadła. Pomiar tej amplitudy, dla współczynnika tarcia kinetycznego należy przeprowadzić, gdy panują warunki tarcia ślizgowego, a statycznego – gdy warunki zjawiska stickslip.
The paper presents a method for the static and kinetic friction coefficients determination of kinematic pairs in the conditions of self-excited vibrations occur-ring in the Froude pendulum. In this method, as the first the kinetic friction coefficient must be determined, and then it should be used when calculating the static friction coefficient. The friction coefficients are determined by measuring the amplitude of self-excited oscillations of the pendulum. The measurement of the amplitude, for the coefficient of kinetic friction, must be carried out when the sliding friction conditions are, and static – when the conditions of stick-slip phenomenon appear.

Opis:: Attempt to raise train speed involves application of greater braking power i.e. braking systems rapidly absorbing and dispersing stored heat energy. Work instability arises from the occurrence of vibrations on friction element, which affects the lower efficiency of the braking process. In practice, this means that, during braking the vehicles currently alternative at a time of friction resistance may cause uneven braking process. The effects of these changes can manifest in the form of vibrations the high amplitude of the input. The purpose of this article is to present the relationship between the changes in instantaneous coefficient of friction of the disk brake and the changes in instantaneous accelerations of the vibrations of the friction pad during braking.
W pojazdach szynowych ze względu na coraz to większe prędkości jazdy prowadzi się prace nad udoskonalaniem układów hamulcowych tak, aby zatrzymanie pojazdu odbyło się na możliwie najkrótszej drodze hamowania. Niestabilność pracy wynika między innymi z występowania drgań na styku elementów ciernych, co wpływa na obniżenie sprawności procesu hamowania. W praktyce oznacza to, że podczas hamowania pojazdów występujący zmienny w czasie opór tarcia może być powodem nierównomiernego przebiegu procesu hamowania. Skutki tych zmian mogą objawić się w postaci drgań samowzbudnych. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie związku zmian chwilowego współczynnika tarcia hamulca tarczowego ze zmianami chwilowych przyspieszeń drgań okładziny ciernej w czasie hamowania.
