We introduce the definition of the three-element equivalential algebra R with conjunction on the regular elements. We study the variety generated by R and prove the Representation Theorem. Then, we construct the finitely generated free algebras and compute the free spectra in this variety.

In this paper, by establishing free-probabilistic models on the Hecke algebras [formula] induced by p-adic number fields Qp, we construct free probability spaces for all primes p. Hilbert-space representations are induced by such free-probabilistic structures. We study C*-algebras induced by certain partial isometries realized under the representations.

Answering a 1982 question of Sidney A. Morris, we construct a topological group G and a subspace X such that (i) G is algebraically free over X, (ii) G is relatively free over X, that is, every continuous mapping from X to G extends to a unique continuous endomorphism of G, and (iii) G is not a varietal free topological group on X in any variety of topological groups.

A graph is uniquely Hamiltonian if it contains exactly one Hamiltonian cycle. In this note, we prove that claw-free graphs with minimum degree at least 3 are not uniquely Hamiltonian. We also show that this is best possible by exhibiting uniquely Hamiltonian claw-free graphs with minimum degree 2 and arbitrary maximum degree. Finally, we show that a construction due to Entringer and Swart can be modified to construct triangle-free uniquely Hamiltonian graphs with minimum degree 3.

This paper presents the method of detecting outlying reference points by applying robust free adjustment. The article contains the theoretical basis of the robust free adjustment. Theoretical considerations are supplemented by a numerical example showing the possible practical applications. In this paper is also included example, which presents detecting of reference points contaminated by gross error, in the case of existence gross errors in observation sets.

Liberalism and marxism are two forms of economism, which separate economic activity from ethics. The social teaching of the Church accepted continued by pope Benedict XVI recognizes the necessity of free market and limited intervention of the state in economy, but first of all postulates creativity of civil society in the field of economic life. The main arguments for observance of moral rules in the economic activity are following: 1. Every conscious and free men’s action is responsible for the effects – economic activity cannot be any exception; 2. The same ethics ought to be applied in the individual-private life and in the public domain – also economy; 3. Ethos of economic activity is connected with three virtues – truth, love and justice (also social justice); 4. Christian-personalistic ethics is based on the principles auxialiarity (personalism) and common good (solidarity). Economic activity completely separated from ethics is inhuman.

W pracy przedstawiono analizę wpływu osnowy na dokładność tyczenia metodą swobodnego stanowiska. Jako parametry dokładności wytyczenia obiektu przyjęto średnie błędy długości boków, średnie błędy kierunków boków, średnie błędy kątów oraz średnie błędy położenia punktów tyczonego obiektu. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych analiz można stwierdzić, że osnowa nie wpływa na dokładność tyczenia długości boków i kątów obiektu, natomiast wpływa na dokładność wytyczenia kierunków boków obiektu. Wpływ ten jest równy średniemu błędowi kierunku nawiązania. Osnowa wpływa również na średnie błędy położenia punktów obiektu. W analizowanych przypadkach wpływ ten jest dwa razy większy niż błędy wynikające z dokładności samego tyczenia
The paper presents analysis of network influence on accuracy of setting out by a free station method. As accuracy parameters of setting out the mean errors of side lengths and directions, the mean errors of angles and the mean errors of positioning points were assumed. On the basis of analysis one can say that network accuracy does not influence on the accuracy of setting out of side lengths and angles. Network accuracy influences on the accuracy of setting out of directions. The influence is equal with the mean error of connecting direction. The network also influences on the mean errors of positioning points. In examine cases the influence is two times greater then the errors of setting out

The purpose of the conducted studies was to elaborate a questionnaire of attitudes towards cheating in school and investigate the relation between determinism and free will and attitudes towards unfairness in school. In order to elaborate on the questionnaire of attitudes towards cheating in school, Study 1 was carried out among 198 adolescents - students of technical schools and high schools. The elaborated tool was characterised by satisfying psychometric properties. Study 2, in which 107 students participated, examined the role of belief in free will and determinism as factors related to attitudes towards cheating in school. The study showed ambivalent results between variables. The only factor that was clearly positively related to negative attitudes towards cheating was scientific determinism.

Problem of calculation of righting arms of the free-floating ship, i.e. longitudinally balanced at any heel angle, was formulated. In such a case of particular interest for a ship in the damage condition, the righting arms are ambiguous as they depend on a way the heeling moment acts. Two cases were considered: when the heeling moment is parallel to the ship plane of symmetry, and the case when it performs the least work, i.e. when the moment is parallel to the main axis of ship waterplane. It was demonstrated that angular translations (heel and trim) are then the Euler angles associated with a relevant reference axis. Some cases of the incorrect defining and using of those angles in today design practice were indicated. The most important features of the curve of righting arms of free-floating ship were demonstrated.

Equivalent weight matrix Px plays a major role in robust, free adjustment. It is contained in the optimization criterion P(dx) = dtxPxdx where dx is an increment vector to approximate coordinates of all network points. Assuming, that Px = px T(dx ), where Px is a priori weight matrix, the paper presents the way how to calculate an attenuation matrix T(dx)( dx is a standardized increment vector). Special attention is paid to the way of increment standardization and to computation of an increment variance matrix.

In the paper, two preprocessing methods for virtual view synthesis are presented. In the first approach, both horizontal and vertical resolutions of the real views and the corresponding depth maps are doubled in order to perform view synthesis on images with densely arranged points. In the second method, real views are filtered in order to eliminate blurred or improperly shifted edges of the objects. Both methods are performed prior to synthesis, thus they may be applied to different Depth-Image-Based Rendering algorithms. In the paper, for both proposed methods, the achieved quality gains are presented.
