- The United Nations undoubtedly plays a significant role in the forming of international relations. The dynamic character of the works, which are being taken within the framework of this organization forced its members to create permanent diplomatic missions. Its main function is to make the participation of the member states as effective as possible. Being a member of the above mentioned organization, Poland had created its own permanent mission to it. Inspite of its great importance, there are very few articles on this matter in Polish Scientific literature. For this reason the author decided upon writing this article. This paper introduces the currect diplomatic stuff of the mission, its prerogatives and organizational structure. Another important issue of this article is to present the history of Polish permanent missions works in the United Nations.
