    Michał Marczak’s documentary Fuck For Forest was met with interest by both audiences and the media. This was due to the movie’s theme: the documentary tells the story of a group of activists living in Berlin who raise funds for environmental protection through a porn website. The film‘s premiere in Poland was accompanied by an aura of scandal, and Marczak’s movie was criticized by many for supposedly promoting pornography. The article analyzes the strategy used to promote the film in Poland and discusses various forms of commentary and media discourse on the film.

    Opis:
    The rate of change in the cost of logged timber and prices of raw timber during the period, 2001-2009, was examined for the Regional Directorate of the State Forests in Zielona Góra. A logarithmic evaluation of average rate of change indicated that the rate of increase in timber harvest costs was higher than the rate of increase in the average price of raw timber and likewise the price of most log grades. The average increase in raw timber value was 2.51% annually. The price of low-diameter raw timber (slash) increased 8.61%, and the price of large-diameter timber increased 1.94% annually, while the price of large coniferous segments increased 1.75% and broadleaf segments increased 2.98% annually. At the same time, the timber logging costs increased more than the timber price, to 4.17%, or 4.19% when administrative costs related to timber logging are included.

    The article analyzes the possibility of using a seven−year development trend model to forecast the average price of wood sales (CGUS). Price models and forecasts were made on the basis of three different time series covering 7−year periods. The forecast of timber prices in individual years was developed on the basis of extrapolation going beyond the set of information adopted for research used to build the development trend model. We found that the size of the indicators of determination of the analyzed functions ranged from 0.5 to 0.6, and the convergence rates from 0.5 to 0.4. This means that the linear functions were characterized by poor adjustment to real prices. Despite this, the timber price forecasts differed from the empirical prices from PLN 1.81 to 13.91. In relative categories, the forecast error was in the range from 0.92 to 7.28%. Therefore, in our opinion, the research process presented can be a reference point as a comparative element to verify forecast results for other (non−linear) price forecasting models. The process of modeling timber raw material prices should be extended to other predictors related to the forest marketing chain. The predicted results from these models cannot be worse than those obtained by forecasting using linear functions

    Państwowe Gospodarstwo Leśne Lasy Państwowe (PGL LP), w ramach którego funkcjonują nadleśnictwa prowadzą zarówno działalność gospodarczą (produkcja i sprzedaż drewna), jak i działalność pozaprodukcyjną (edukacja, funkcje rekreacyjno-zdrowotne, kulturalne, przyrodnicze). W związku z rosnącą złożonością otoczenia nadleśnictw zachodzi potrzeba wsparcia infor-macyjnego przez zastosowanie instrumentów rachunkowości zarządczej. Jednym z takich instrumentów jest rachunek kosztów cyklu życia produktu, dla którego w przypadku nadleśnictwa przedmiotem rachunku będzie las. Ponieważ działalność marketingowa w ramach gospodarki leśnej dotyczy zarówno działalności produkcyjnej jak i pozaprodukcyjnej PGL LP, a las charakteryzuje się konkretnymi etapami swojego życia należy stwierdzić, że rachunek ten może być przydatnym źródłem informacji planistycznych. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie możliwości wykorzystania rachunku kosztów cyklu życia produktu (lasu) do ujawnień działań marketingowych w ramach funkcjonowania nadleśnictw. W związku z tym wskazano na definicję lasu jako produktu nadleśnictwa. Następnie przedstawio-no ideę rachunku kosztów cyklu życia produktu w odniesieniu do lasu i na tym tle podano przykłady przychodów i kosztów dotyczących działań marketingowych możliwych do wyodrębnienia w rachunku kosztów cyklu życia lasu. Zasadnicza hipoteza artykułu zawiera się w stwierdzeniu, że rachunek kosztów cyklu życia lasu może zapewnić informacje o działalności marketingowej nadleśnictwa przez ujawnienia kosztów i przychodów w poszczególnych etapach życia lasu. Opracowanie powstało przy wykorzystaniu analizy literatury przedmiotu, doświadczeń własnych autorów jako nauczycieli akademickich, prowadzących badania naukowe i wdrożenia w PGL LP lub w działach rachunkowości i controllingu jednostek gospodarczych przy zastosowaniu rozumowa-nia indukcyjnego.
    The State Forests National Forest Holding in which superintendence function lead to both economic activity (production and sale of wood) and nonproduction activities (education, health and recreation functions, cultural, half-Jun). In connection with the increasing complexity of the superintendence environment it is necessary to support the information through the use of instruments of management accounting. One of such instruments is the costing of the product life cycle, for which in the case of superintendence the subject of accounting will be the forest. Because marketing activities within the forestry applies to both production activity and non-productive activity of State Forests and forest is characterized by a specific stages of it’s lif, it should be noted that this account can be a useful source of planning information.The aim of the article is to present the possibilities of using life cycle costing of the product (forest) to the disclosure of marketing activities in the operation of districts. Therefore, the defini-tion of forest was pointed as a product of superintendence. This is followed by the idea of a life cycle costing of the product in relation to the forest and on this background there were shown the examples of revenues and expenses related to marketing efforts possible to extract in the life cycle costing of the forest. The main thesis of the article is included in the statement that the life cycle costing of the forest can provide information about the activities of marketing superintedence by the disclosure of costs and revenues in n the various life stages of the forest. This article was written using the analysis of the literature, the authors' own experience as teachers, conducting research and implementation of the State Forests National Forest Holding or accounting and control-ling departments of business units using inductive reasoning.
