The article is systematization of knowledge on leasing as a source of financing for enterprises. This paper defines the leasing and presented its nature according to the norms of civil, tax and accounting law. It shows the basic classification of leases and briefly describes each type. This article discusses the key benefits gained from using the financial tools and the most common business problems. Presented the consequences arising from the signing of the lease. Description was written based on literature studies on the issues of lease. Concerns the benefits and drawbacks arising from the lease agreement for use of this form of financing for enterprises. The article can help entrepreneurs in making the correct choice of the method of financing.

Infrastrukturę dzieli się na dwa rodzaje: techniczną i społeczną. Infrastruktura społeczna obejmuje urządzenia i instytucje w dziedzinie prawa, oświaty, nauki, kultury i wypoczynku, ochrony zdrowia i spraw socjalnych itp. Do infrastruktury technicznej zalicza się przede wszystkim: system transportu, zaopatrzenia w wodę i kanalizację, energetyczny, łączności, ochrony środowiska, a także urządzenia gospodarki komunalnej, magazyny, chłodnie, urządzenia handlu, centra logistyczne. Celem opracowania jest zaprezentowanie sposobu finansowania tych inwestycji przez gminę Chojnice w latach 2007 – 2009. W gminie Chojnice wykorzystano na ten cel przede wszystkim środki z: Europejskiego Funduszu Rozwoju Regionalnego, kontraktu Wojewódzkiego w ramach narodowego programu przebudowy dróg lokalnych oraz miejskiej spółki zajmującej się układem wodno – sanitarnym Miejskie Wodociągi Sp. z o.o.
Infrastructure is classified into two types: technical and social. Social infrastructure includes facilities and institutions in the fields of law, education, science, culture and recreation, health and social affairs, etc. The technical infrastructure primarily includes: transportation system, water supply and sanitation, energy, communications, environmental protection, and municipal equipment, warehouses, cold rooms, trade, logistics centres. The aim of this paper is to present the means of financing these investments by the municipality Chojnice in the years 2007 – 2009. Funds from the European Regional Development Fund, Voivodship Contract under the National Program of Reconstruction of Local Roads and municipal company engaged in the water supply and sanitation were used for these purpose in the municipality of Chojnice.

The aim of the article is a synthetic presentation of the complex process of financing investments related to shipbuilding and purchase. The first part presents the concept of shipbuilding cycles and the relationship between the shipbuilding industry and the shipping market. The paper then reviews the concepts and literature related to the shipbuilding industry, shipbuilding financing, and ship purchase. Lastly, the current state of the shipbuilding market is described. The results of the analysis indicates possibilities of financing the purchase of new vessels including mortgage bonds.

The aim of the article is to analyse the investment activity of micro-enterprises from the Lubelskie voivodeship, and to indicate the sources of its financing, with particualar emphasis on EU funds. During the period 2009-2013, the investment outlays of micro-enterprises from the Lubelskie voivodeship were subject to significant fluctuations. The data analysis indicates the moderate investment activity of entities from the other regions of Poland. Micro- and small enterprises from the Lubelskie voivodeship financed their investments mainly from their own resources. The usage of UE funds in investment financing was relatively small. For micro-entrepreneurs from the Lubelskie voivodeship, barriers to using EU funds of particular importance were: bureaucracy, lack of own resources, and insufficient knowledge.

The beginning of the 21st century is full of dynamic and multidimentional changes in the world economy. The integration and globalization porcesses happening currently, which have brought about the occurance of new possibilities in the functioning of markets, states and enterprises, can be regard as the most important economic changes. Such processes have posed both new challenges and possibilities of develop ment to them. The aim of the article was to try to describe the changes in the resources of financing investing activities of enterprises, which appeared in the first decade of the 21st century, in the chosen countires of Central and Eastern Europe. The research method was chosen from the point of view of the adopted aim. The research method involved collecting the data coming from the chosen countries and carrying out statistical analysis. The starting point was theoretical consideration on basic possibilities to finance investments taking into consideration the successive stages of the development of an enterprise. In the following part the article attention was focused on the analysis of statistical data charakterizing the sector of small and medium enterprises in relation to access to financial resources. The economies of European Union and Central and Eastern Europe were chosen to be analysed and compared. The following countres are regarded: Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. The article ends with summary showing the integrating economies of Central and Eastern Europe approaching the changes characterisic of European Union economy.

The article is a review paper whose main objective is to analyze and evaluate the National Road Fund and the Railway Fund as sources of financing infrastructural investments in the transport sector in Poland. The first part of the article presents the theoretical approach to the financing of transport infrastructure. The essence of investments in both road and rail infrastructure is presented. In addition, selected sources of fundraising for infrastructure investments were discussed on the basis of a literature review. The second part presents and compiles secondary data on financial flows in the National Road Fund and the Railway Fund. The receipts and expenditures of both Funds were analyzed and their importance in infrastructure financing was determined.
Artykuł jest pracą przeglądową, której głównym celem jest analiza oraz ocena Krajowego Funduszu Drogowego oraz Funduszu Kolejowego jako źródeł finansowania inwestycji infrastrukturalnych w sektorze transportu w Polsce. W pierwszej części artykułu przedstawiono ujęcie teoretyczne finansowania infrastruktury transportu. Przedstawiona została istota inwestycji w infrastrukturę zarówno drogową, jak i kolejową. Ponadto zostały omówione wybrane źródła pozyskiwania funduszy na realizację inwestycji infrastrukturalnych na podstawie przeglądu literatury. W części drugiej przedstawiono oraz zestawiono dane wtórne dotyczące przepływów finansowych w Krajowym Funduszu Drogowym oraz Funduszu Kolejowym. Przeanalizowano wpływy i wydatki obu funduszy oraz określono ich znaczenie w finansowaniu infrastruktury.

The article addresses the overall body of problems pertaining to economic factors conditioning the construction and operation of integrated logistics centres (ILCs). These problems are among the most fundamental decision-making dilemmas related to such investments. The authors of the article have discussed the methodology of assessment and selection of economic factors for the cost-effective construction and operation of ILCs by taking the perspective of entities involved in the construction and functioning of these centres into consideration. Model ILCs are understood as facilities of a specific spatial and functional nature, along with all the infrastructure and organization, where logistics services are rendered in the scope of receipt, storage, distribution and release of goods, supported by auxiliary services provided by businesses independent of forwarders or recipients [3]. From the perspective assumed in the article, logistics centres are considered as projects implemented by both privately owned and public entities, which are open to participation with different economic entities representing the ILC sector, as well as other industries performing their logistics operations on the centre’s premises and using its infrastructure. The article draws from the authors’ own experience, research and insights.

This article discusses the additional external source of financing operations and development of the enterprise sector in Poland, which is leasing. The work focuses on the essence of this source of financing and the basic assumptions and principles on which leasing is based. The article contains an overview of the most important advantages and disadvantages, using this form of investment and business financing for each of the parties in the civil-law relationship, that is for the financing party and the lessee. In addition, the column also contains an analysis of statistical data published by the Polish Leasing Association regarding the leasing market in Poland over the last years. The aim of the article was to assess the advantages and disadvantages, as well as the structure and dynamics of the source of financing, which is leasing.
W niniejszym artykule omówiono dodatkowe, zewnętrzne źródło finansowania działalności i rozwoju sektora przedsiębiorstw w Polsce, jakie stanowi leasing. Praca koncentruje się wokoło istoty tego źródła finansowania oraz podstawowych założeń i zasad, na jakich opiera się leasing. Artykuł zawiera przegląd najistotniejszych wad i zalet, korzystania z tej formy finansowania inwestycji i działalności gospodarczej dla każdej ze stron stosunku cywilnoprawnego, czyli zarówno dla finansującego, jak i korzystającego z leasingu. Ponadto felieton zawiera także analizę danych statystycznych opublikowanych przez Związek Polskiego Leasingu dotyczących rynku leasingowego w Polsce na przestrzeni ostatnich lat. Celem artykułu była ocena zalet i wad, a także struktury oraz dynamiki rozwoju źródła finansowania, jakie stanowi leasing.

There are different types of firms finance management. One of these is the ethical finance management.
