New records of Sirex carinthiacus Konow are given, based on the collection of four females from three localities in eastern part of Poland. This very rare representative of the family Siricidae develops on spruces and undoubtedly demands protection over all its distribution area. The paper presents new data on the occurrence in Poland of a very rare species of horntail Tremex magus (F.). One female of this species was caught in the Wielkopolska Lowland, in “Mszar Bogdaniec” nature reserve. The paper also presents historical data on the occurrence of this species in Poland and completes faunistic data on the species of Xeris Costa genus.

The paper provides new data on 5 species of Tetratomidae (Coleoptera: Tenebrionoidea). Among them 3 species are new for the Kampinos National Park: Tetratoma ancora, Eustrophus dermestoides and Hallomenus axillaris. The occurrence of 2 species previously mentioned in literature was confirmed. One species: T. ancora have been recorded from the Mazovian Lowland for the first time.
