Opis:
The paper presents the analysis of a measurement signal from a measurement triangulation sensor (laser) obtained during the positioning of an industrial robot. The signal is characterised by the range of disruptions. Their character is complex, because it involves the influence of robot position correction signals generated by the drive, free vibrations of the mechanical system caused by its movement and instability of reading the optical measurement sensor. There are presented the components of a test stand as well as the interactions between the robot control system, PLC, the laser controller and the user's HMI. The results of the analysis of the obtained data indicate that the reliable reading in the time shorter than the time of the system relaxation is possible. The presented issue is an element of a wider research program, the aim of which is to determine the correlations between the measurement capability of the method realised with the active use of an industrial robot and the measurement realisation time.

Opis:
Audio watermarking (AW) technology in cooperation with GPS synchronization of watermarked frames is proposed for application in the maritime VHF communication for automatic identification of radiotelephone messages. Automatic identification ensures efficient messaging from the very beginning of a radio transmission, while eliminating the human factor inherent in voice identification. AW refers to inaudible embedding of additional data just into the post microphone signal, using standard marine installations without any additional radio channel resources. The designed algorithm is based on data embedding in the Fast Fourier Transform domain with the rate of 32 bit/s. The experimental prototype of the device is designed on the base of micro-controller development kit 32F429IDISCOVERY and GPS module NEO-6M-0-001. Designed system, applied for automatic ship’s identification, provides the full compatibility with the existing radio installation, and does not require replacement of standard VHF transceivers and operational procedures. Besides automatic identification the system may be used in the special applications, for example, by the threat of terrorist attack; generally contributes to navigation safety and information security.

Opis:
W pracy przedstawiono wyniki pomiarów LDA wykonanych dla mieszalnika statycznego SMX i jednofazowego przepływu płynu newtonowskiego (syropu skrobiowego), a następnie płynu nienewtonowskie-go (wodnego roztworu CMC). Do opracowania wyników zastosowano procedurę szybkiej transformaty Fouriera (FFT). Otrzymane wyniki, dzięki zastosowaniu procedury FFT. były analizowane w dziedzinie częstotliwości.
LDA measurements of single-phase flow trough a S.MX static mixer were presented in the paper. Two fluid types were investigated: Newtonian (starch syrup) and non-Newtonian (aqueous solution of CMC). The obtained results were analyzed through data post-processing in the spectral (frequency) space by means of the Fast Fourier Transform (KFT).

Opis:
Reducing contaminant emissions is an important task of any industry, included the maritime one. In fact, in April 2018, IMO (International Maritime Organization) adopted an Initial Strategy on reduction of Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from ships. An essential part responsible for producing these emissions is the diesel engine. For that reason vessels include separation systems for heavy fuel oils. The purpose of this work is to improve the predictive maintenance techniques incorporating new intelligent approaches. An analysis of vibrations of this separation system was made and their characteristics were used in a Genetic Neuro-Fuzzy System in order to design an intelligent maintenance based on condition monitoring. The achieved results show that the proposed method provides an improvement since it indicates if a maintenance operation is necessary before the schedule one or if it could be possible extend the next maintenance service.
