Opis:: The article is an attempt to pinpoint the areas of Ludwig Wittgenstein aesthetic thought, in which he is crossing the borders principally imposed upon the method and the language of his philosophy. I am directing my attention to metaphysical and mystical motifs of his reflection devoted to aesthetics, the essence of art and the essence of reality. I wish to discuss this issue based on the texts of Arthur C. Danto containing analysis of chosen notions of Wittgenstein’s aesthetic investigations. Additionally in this matter I am appealing to appropriate theses of Leszek Sosnowski and Wojciech Sady, concerning above issues.

Opis:: The article is an attempt to outline the cognitively understood web of school genres used for self-presentation. The author is trying to answer the question of which genre takes the place of the prototype model centre and what relations occur between the genres within the web. The starting point for the literary genetics traversing in the linguistic-didactic perspective was the theory of self- -presentation as well as both school and extracurricular texts that pursue specified genre patterns. The prototype is a pattern, the exemplary model of something. On the basis of the comparative studies on school genres used for self-presentation and with the help of metaphorical categories of self-presentation gene and the genotype the self-presentation genre it has been concluded that the prototype of the self-presentational genre at school is self-characteristics

Opis:: The paper defends the argument that the Resemblance Paradox (RP), or the problem of the ‘under-determination of meaning’, and the Rule-Following Paradox (RFP) are two sides of the same paradox threatening meaning from opposite extremes. After presenting the case, the paradox is reconsidered anew and the supposition that the threat is a pervasive one challenged.
