Opis:: Based on the exergetic sustainability indicators of polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel cell, this paper studied the effects of irreversibility of thermodynamics on some exergetic sustainability indicators of PEM fuel cell under changing operating temperature, operating pressure and current density. Some conclusions are drawn by analyzing the curves. As the operating temperature increases, the negative impact of PEM fuel cell on various parameters due to irreversibility decreases; As the operating pressure increases, the negative impact of PEM fuel cell on various parameters due to irreversibility decreases; On the other hand, with the increase of current density, the negative impact of the PEM fuel cell on various parameters due to irreversibility increases.

Opis:: Innovation mathematical research model of the central straight flow air conditioning system for cleanroom in order to computer’s estimation its energy effective by virtue of exergetic output-input ratio depending on different factors, which have influence on its work, was presented in this article. The dependence of exergetic output-input ratio for chosen air conditioning system on parameters of external air was defined thanks to this model.

Opis:: The aim of this paper is to give the insight into the energy and exergy analysis and the usefulness of the exergy balance next to the energy balance for the evaluation of the different kind of buildings. In our case we applied this method to the traditional and low-energy (passive) showing the differences in heating systems used for these buildings. In traditional house the condensing boiler and water heating radiator were used while in the passive the heat pump and air heating were used. The exergy analysis showed that the exergy destruction for the low-energy house is much lower than for the conventional one.
Celem artykułu oprócz bilansu energii, jest bilans egzergii oraz wykazanie jej przydatności do oceny różnych rodzajów budynków. Zastosowano tę metodę do budynku tradycyjnego i niskoenergetycznego (pasywnego) i wskazano na różnice w zastosowaniu różnych systemów ogrzewania w budynkach. W budynku tradycyjnym zastosowano kocioł kondensacyjny i grzejniki radiacyjne, w budynku pasywnym pompę ciepła i ogrzewanie powietrzne. Po analizie egzergii wykazano, że w budynku niskoenergetycznym destrukcja egzergii jest znacznie mniejsza niż w budynku konwencjonalnym.

Opis:: W oparciu o dane ruchowe zebrane na instalacji przemysłowej przedstawiono wyniki bilansów: energetycznego i egzergetycznego węzła suszenia siarczanu amonu. Porównano sprawności energetyczną i egzergetyczną. Wyniki analizy egzergetycznej mogą być podstawą działań innowacyjnych w kierunku zmniejszenia energochłonności analizowanego węzła technologicznego.
Based on data collected in a currently working industrial process line, the results of energy and exergy balances of ammonium sulfate drying technological node are presented. The energy and exergy efficiency were compared. The obtained results can form a basis for innovative actions leading to energy consumption reduction in the analyzed technological node.
