Opis:: The aim of the article is to demonstrate that Husserl’s phenomenology as a science involves problems connected with essence of spiritual life. The spiritual dimension is an important context in the reading of Husserl’s work. This problem affects the specificity of Husserl’s thought and manner of philosophizing. According to Husserl, the fundamental task of philosophy concerns the sphere of spirit and its evolution. In correspondence with the question of the essence of spirit, Husserl’s phenomenology is presented in the perspective of two threads. First, the author consider the problem of spiritual life taken as a life in truth; secondly, a reflection over essence of spirit is understood as a purpose of philosophizing.

Opis:: While speaking of the deepest experience of God, some Christian mystics mention that it takes place within the essence of the soul or within its centre, which is sometimes called spirit. Since a soul does not have parts, spirit is a counterpart of some specific „acting" of a soul which consists in passive opening towards God's action. Man experiences God in spirit. Such experience is something more than faith in God's presence within us. In spirit man feels God's presence. For Carmelite mystics, such moments are man's highest personal acts. Therefore one can say that a person fully expresses oneself just in this passive capability to open to this contact with God. Hence one can state that a person is a soul in a dimension of acting independently of the matter and in the dimension of giving oneself and receiving the other person.

Opis:: To talk about God’s love is to talk about God Himself, because “God is love” (1 John 4:8). God’s love for men is, in the teaching of John Paul II, the foundation of the papal proclamation. Its source is the inner love of the Holy Trinity. The present article discusses the statement of St. John, who says that “God is love” (1 John 4:8). This statement speaks of the essence of God in the aspect of Trinity’s inmost being and in terms of the economy of salvation. The article also takes up the issue of love of the Father and of the Son, and the question of the Holy Spirit as the Love of the Father and the Son. The Third Person of God, coming from the Father and the Son, is the Breath of Their mutual Love.
