    W artykule omówione zostały wymagania eksportowe owoców jako towaru łatwo psującego się oraz analiza łańcucha dostaw na przykładzie procesu eksportu jabłek z Polski do Chin.
    The paper deals with the problem of the supply chain of fruits. The legal regulations, technical procedures and safety requirements are also presented in the article. The profile of polish marketplace of apples producers is briefly characterized. Poland is one of the biggest apples producers, in the European Union. The Russian ban on the products from the European Union was the reason for the search of the new market outlets including China. The part of the paper reflects legal, qualitative and export regulations as well as the phytosanitary requirements for the fruit pickers and transporters. It has to be taken into consideration, that fruit is extremely demanding product for transportation. It is vital to deliver sufficient climatic conditions, firstly adjustment and then maintenance of the appropriate temperature and humidity. The refrigerator technology in the process of transport of apples has also been presented. The supply chain of fruits from Poland to China has been presented and shortly analysed. The process of transportation is occurring in each and every part of the chain. It is an inseparable element connecting the whole chain into one consistent, constantly working process.

    Opis:
    The main goal of the paper was to evaluate changes in Polish fruit and vegetable exports between 2004–2012 and to identify the main export destinations of representatives of 107 the primary market of fruits and vegetables from the Lower Silesian voivodeship. For the purpose of the research, data from the International Trade Centre (ITC) was used. The author also used the method of a case study – fruit and vegetable producer organisations and groups from the Lower Silesian voivodeship were the focus of the research. The analysis allowed the steady growth of fruit and vegetable exports between 2004- 2012 to be identified from Poland as a whole, with the main importing markets being Germany and Russia. The same directions were characteristic among subjects from the Lower Silesian voivodeship.
    Celem artykułu było ocenienie zmian w polskim eksporcie owoców i warzyw w latach 2004–2012 oraz zidentyfikowanie kierunków sprzedaży zagranicznej podmiotów rynku pierwotnego owoców i warzyw na przykładzie województwa dolnośląskiego. W tym celu wykorzystano dane Międzynarodowego Centrum Handlu oraz metodę studium przypadku (jednostkami badania były wstępnie uznane grupy i uznane organizacje producentów działające w województwie dolnośląskim). Na podstawie analizy można stwierdzić, że w latach 2004–2012 nastąpił wzrost polskiego eksportu owoców i warzyw, a głównymi kierunkami eksportu były Niemcy i Rosja; podobnie było w przypadku badanych jednostek z województwa dolnośląskiego.

    The aim of this work was to define the changes in the utilization of apple production in Poland in t he years 1961 - 2008. This period includes 29 years of planned economy and 19 years of market economy. The main source of data for this study were publications of Polish Central Statistical Office (GUS), FAO, and the Institute of Agricultural and Food Econom ics in Warsaw (IERiG Ż ). The percentage of apples used for processing increased from 50% in the 1980’s to about 70% in the 1990’s to 80% at the beginning of the new century. Apple consumption per capita did not vary much in the years 1961 - 2008. However, the consumption of all kinds of fruit increased by about 40% during this period in line with the increase in the average monthly salary. The consumption of apples on the domestic market was much more evenly distributed throughout the year in market economy times. Further growth in apple production in Poland will be possible through increases in fresh fruit exports and in processing, and through better balancing of the seasonality of consumption. At present, locally grown apples in Poland are on sale all year round, however , their supply in the summer season could be augmented.

    Celem pracy było określenie siły oraz kierunku związku pomiędzy produkcją, eksportem i cenami zagęszczonego soku jabłkowego (ZSJ) a cenami skupu jabłek do przetwórstwa w Polsce. Do analizy wykorzystano dane publikowane w miesięczniku „Rynek Rolny”. Zastosowano metody korelacji. Zakres czasowy pracy obejmował lata 2004-2014. Wielkość produkcji ZSJ, pomimo wahań, zwiększała się w analizowanym okresie. ZSJ wyprodukowany w Polsce w ponad 90% był przedmiotem eksportu, a związek pomiędzy wielkością produkcji i wolumenem eksportu, mierzony współczynnikiem korelacji, był dodatni i bardzo silny. Korelacja pomiędzy wielkością produkcji ZSJ a cenami eksportowymi tego produktu była na przeciętnym poziomie, lecz dodatnia. Współczynnik korelacji pomiędzy cenami eksportowymi ZSJ a cenami skupu jabłek do przetwórstwa był na przeciętnym poziomie i dodatni. Ceny skupu jabłek do przetwórstwa były ujemnie skorelowane z wielkością produkcji oraz eksportu ZSJ.
    The aim of this paper was to determine the power and direction of relationship between production, export and prices of apple juice concentrate and the prices for apples for processing in the years 2004-2014. The analysis used data published in the „Rynek rolny”, by the IERiGŻ-PIB. The correlation coefficients were calculated. Despite the fluctuations, the production of apple juice concentrate increased over the analyzed period. Over 90% of apple juice concentrate produced in Poland was exported and the relationship between the volume of production and export volume measured by a correlation coefficient was positive and very strong. The correlation between the production of apple juice concentrate and prices of apple juice concentrate had a medium power and there was almost no correlation between the prices of apple juice concentrate and the volume of export of apple juice concentrate. The correlations between the prices for apple for processing and both the volume of production and the volume of export of apple juice concentrate were negative.

    Celem rozważań jest ukazanie zmian w wielkości i strukturze produkcji oraz eksporcie i spożyciu soków i nektarów owocowych w Polsce w latach 2000-2011. Materiał badawczy stanowiły dane statystyczne z publikacji Instytutu Ekonomiki Rolnictwa i Gospodarki Żywnościowej-PIB: Analizy Rynkowe – Rynek Owoców i Warzyw, stan i perspektywy, za lata 2000-2011. W badanym okresie wzrosła produkcja przetworów owocowych (o 34,4%), w tym soków i nektarów owocowych (o 44,4%). Najszybciej wzrastała produkcja napojów i nektarów owocowych, spadała zaś produkcja soku jabłkowego i z owoców cytrusowych, kosztem wzrostu importu tych produktów.
    The objective of deliberations is to indicate changes in the volume and structure of production, exports and consumption of fruit juices and nectars in Poland in 2000-2011. The research material was the statistical data from publications of the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics, National Research Institute: Market Analyses. The Market for Fruit and Vegetables: State and Perspectives, for the years 2000-2011. In the period in question, there increased production of processed fruit (by 34.4%), including fruit juices and nectars (by 44.4%). The most quickly was growing production of fruit drinks and nectars, whereas there was decreasing production of apple juice and juice made of citrus fruits at the expense of growth of imports of those products.
    Цель рассуждений – указать изменения в объеме и структуре производства, в экспорте и в потреблении фруктовых соков и нектаров в Польше в 2000-2011 гг. Исследовательский материал представляли собой статистические данные из публикаций Института экономики сельского и пищевого хозяйства, Государственного исследовательского института, «Рыночные анализы. Рынок фруктов и овощей: состояние и перспективы», за 2000-2011 гг. В исследуемом периоде увеличилось производство продуктов переработки фруктов (на 34,4%), в том числе фруктовых соков и нектаров (на 44,4%). Быстрее всего возрастало производство фруктовых напитков и нектаров, снижалось же производство яблочного сока и сока из цитрусовых фруктов за счет увеличения импорта этих продуктов.
