    Opis:
    The article describes quantitative changes in the educational area of the Polish borderland, based on the examples of Nysa, Prudnik, and Głubczyce districts. The demographic data, unfavorable for entire Poland, in the borderland regions are additionally burdened with migration from peripheral communes. It is reflected in the functioning of educational institutions. The analysis of the educational potential of the border areas based on data from the three districts indicates alarming demographic forecasts announcing their depopulation. Breaking that process seems impossible without external support. Thanks to co-financing under efficiently implemented EU projects, and, above all, the work of local leaders, many interesting initiatives were implemented to improve the quality of life in the border areas and their tourist attractiveness, which also gives hope for an economic revival. A positive aspect is that with the decreasing number of students, the number of departments also decreases, which gives hope for a better quality of care, upbringing, and education. However, the data show that reversing the negative trends requires great commitment.

    Współczesna rzeczywistość społeczna to czas szybko postępujących przeobrażeń i wielokierunkowej, nieustającej transformacji, która wprawdzie stwarza człowiekowi pewne nowe możliwości rozwoju, autokreacji, ale jednocześnie odbiera poczucie stabilności i trwałości zajmowanych w społeczeństwie miejsc oraz odgrywanych ról. Przemiany społeczne przyczyniły się do pojawienia się wielu zagrożeń, takich jak: dewaluacja i relatywizacja wartości ogólnoludzkich; stępienie wrażliwości społecznej; relatywizacja autorytetów osobowych i instytucjonalnych; egoizm w dążeniu do zaspokajania osobistych potrzeb i osiągania zysków, realizowania kariery; upowszechnienie kultury masowej; manipulacja informacyjna mass mediów; przerost urynkowienia poszczególnych dziedzin życia; nadmierny konsumpcjonizm; coraz częstsze przypadki ujawniania tak szkodliwych społecznie zjawisk, jak pedofilia; szerzenie się toksykomanii i pojawianie się nowych form uzależnień. Te i inne zjawiska związane z przemianami społecznymi wywierają wpływ na funkcjonowanie podstawowych środowisk życia i rozwoju człowieka, w tym także na rodzinę. Oddziałują na całą jej kondycję, a co najważniejsze z pedagogicznego punktu widzenia, na jakość jej wychowawczego funkcjonowania
    Contemporary social reality is a time of rapid transformations and multidirectional, constant changes, which create some new possibilities of development and autocreation, but also takes away the sense of stability and durability of social roles. Social transformations contribute to the appearance of many threats, like: devaluation and relativization of general human values; decrease of social sensitivity; negation of all the ideals; relativization of personal and institutional authority; egoism in aiming to satisfy personal needs, achieve profit and pursue a career; dissemination of mass culture; informational manipulation of mass media, marketisation of individual areas of life; excessive consumerism; more and more often revealed socially destructive phenomena like paedophilia, drug addiction and appearance of new forms of addictions. These, and other phenomena connected with social transformations, influence functioning of basic environments of human life and development, including family.     System wartości człowieka jest stosunkowo stabilny, ale pewne wydarzenia i warunki społeczne mogą na niego wpływać. W kontekście usług edukacyjnych szczególnie istotne wydaję się badanie zmian w świadomości wartości młodzieży, gdyż to oni są w większości konsumentami usług edukacyjnych. Dzięki takim działaniom łatwiej zrozumieć dążenia młodzieży, jej oczekiwania i potrzeby związane z wyższym wykształceniem. Pandemia i wojna stały się znaczącymi czynnikami, które wpłynęły między innymi na praktyki edukacyjne współczesnej młodzieży, a co za tym idzie mogły mieć wpływ na jej system wartości. W niniejszym artykule poddano analizie jeden z elementów systemu wartości, a mianowicie konstrukt indywidualizacji, który zbadaliśmy, w ramach badania pilotażowego, w szerszym kontekście edukacji uniwersyteckiej.
    The value system of a person is considered to be a relatively stable phenomenon, but certain events and social conditions can influence it. As young people are mostly consumers of educational services it seems important to explore the educational values they possess in order to understand what they strive for and expect when getting higher education.The pandemic and war became significant factors that influenced, i.a. the educational practices of modern youth and,by extension, their system of values. In the present study, we decided to focus onone of the elements of the system of values, that is, the concept of individualization, which was studiedin the context of university education.

    In this article is determined that the main factor that led to political transformations in the Arabian Peninsula was the process of globalization. Moreover, the impact on the countries of this region was carried out in two vectors - externally and internally. As a result of the active promotion of Western traditions of understanding and functioning of political systems, cardinal reforms and transformations in gender policy, education, socio-economic level, etc. have taken place in the countries of the studied region. The relevance of the study of the proposed topic is due to the fact that the Middle East, including and the Arabian Peninsula become important in Ukraine’s international relations. Although, as the practice of post-reform events shows, often these changes are only declarative rather than systemic. This is primarily due to the slow and unstable movement towards the transformation of socio-political institutions, despite the rather strong pressure in this context from leading international organizations and the leadership of key Western political states.

    Opis:
    The paper seeks to determine what a 21st-century music education system should look like. The underlying assumption in author’s deliberations and development of model solutions was that it should consider the ongoing global transformations in education which are driven by cultural and technological changes, and that it should be deeply rooted in contemporary culture. The starting point for author’s reflections and conceiving new design solutions are opinions endorsed by experts in the field of education (including Sir Ken Robinson and Andreas Schleicher), as well as normative stipulations elaborated by major European institutions (i.a. the Council of the European Union). Further, the paper discusses the ongoing global transformations in education, including those pertaining to music education. Finally, the author presents the realities of the education system in Poland, and tries to conclude what should be changed and in what manner to make music education carry out a vital role and respond to the present needs; he also explains why the latest reform has hindered favourable changes in education.
    W artykule skoncentrowano się na poszukiwaniu odpowiedzi na pytanie, jak obecnie powinna wyglądać powszechna edukacja muzyczna. Punktem wyjścia rozważań i tworzenia modelowych rozwiązań było założenie, że powinna ona uwzględniać przemiany edukacyjne, jakie dokonują się na świecie, wynikające z przeobrażeń kulturowych i cywilizacyjnych, poza tym powinna być głęboko osadzona we współczesnej kulturze. Podstawą autorskich myśli i budowania nowych koncepcyjnych rozwiązań są opinie ekspertów z dziedziny pedagogiki (w tym Kena Robinsona i Andreasa Schleichera) oraz założenia normatywne opracowane przez ważne europejskie instytucje (m.in. Radę Unii Europejskiej). W artykule omówiono również przemiany oświatowe, jakie dokonują się na świecie, w tym przeobrażenia w edukacji muzycznej. W końcowej części opracowania autor odwołał się do polskiej sytuacji, starając się odpowiedzieć na pytanie, co i jak należałoby zmienić, aby edukacja muzyczna pełniła ważne funkcje i odpowiadała na istotne współczesne potrzeby oraz dlaczego ostatnia reforma edukacyjna utrudnia dokonywanie pozytywnych przeobrażeń w dziedzinie oświaty.

    The article presents the problem area of animation as a pedagogical method of working in the environment which is differentiated as regards its social, cultural and regional aspects. The environmental diagnosis is meant to identify local capitals which can offer support for a group of animators participating in the socio-cultural project, whose goal was activation of the examined local community. The author shows the role of the institution of culture functioning in the region of cultural and ethnic frontier in the social reception.
    W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienie animacji jako pedagogicznej metody pracy środowiskowej w środowisku zróżnicowanym społecznie, kulturowo i regionalnie. Diagnoza środowiskowa pozwala identyfikować lokalne kapitały mogące stanowić oparcie dla grupy animatorów uczestniczących w projekcie społeczno-kulturalnym, którego celem była aktywizacja badanej społeczności lokalnej. W opracowaniu tym ukazana jest także rola instytucji kultury w regionie pogranicza kulturowego i etnicznego w odbiorze społecznym.
