Czas pandemii Covid19 zmusił nas do zintensyfikowania wysiłków związanych z kształceniem online.
A few years ago, none of us imagined that certain subjects could be taught online. Meanwhile, for the last three semesters, each of us had to face it, struggling with the stress of the mysterious listener and the sight of the wall in front of our eyes. We have found that preparing online classes is more demanding. However, out of love for Mathematics during the pandemic, we took our time and showed great commitment. In the article it is presented the distance education methods implemented by us along with examples together with the tools we used for this. The discussed methods of teaching were selected individually for the groups. The choice of the method depended on the year of study, i.e. whether we were teaching first-year or higher-year students, as well as the language in which the students study. From our point of view, it might be said that during the pandemic, the quality of teaching has increased due to the number and variety of methods that were used to liven up the atmosphere, maintain motivation and pace, as well as create interactions between students who are separated from each other and us. However, the question remains "has the quality of learning also increased?". We will get the answer soon, when we go back to universities.

Nowe technologie na gruncie edukacji mają swoich przeciwników i zwolenników. Autorka artykułu przekonuje, że należy je „oswoić”, aby w pełni wykorzystać ich potencjał w nauczaniu. Model SAMR opracowany przez Rubena Puentedurę definiuje cztery poziomy integracji technologii w procesie edukacji. W tekście przedstawiono, w jaki sposób na zajęciach języka polskiego można wykorzystać nowe media. Część zasadniczą artykułu stanowi przedstawienie przykładowych narzędzi (m.in. Aurasma, Classcraft, Blogger) oraz możliwości ich zastosowania w pracy z uczniami.
New technologies in the field of education have their opponents and supporters. The author of the article argues that technology should be “tamed” fully to use its potential in teaching. The SAMR model developed by Ruben Puentedura defines four levels of technology integration in the education process. The text shows how new media can be used in Polish language classes. The main part of the article is the presentation of exemplary tools (including Aurasma, Classcraft, Blogger) and the possibilities of their use in working with pupils.

Artykuł dotyczy współczesnych idei i założeń edukacyjnych, wyrażonych w niektórych podstawach programowych państw europejskich – Finlandii, Norwegii, Szwecji, Szkocji, Irlandii. W dokumentach tych ujawniają się filozoficzne podstawy edukacji powszechnej, które odnaleźć można także w polityce edukacyjnej innych wysoko rozwiniętych państw demokratycznych. Omawiana w tekście filozofia kształcenia systemowego ujawnia się w kilku zasadniczych wektorach – wspierania wartości kluczowych dla demokracji liberalnej; przekraczania granic kształcenia przedmiotowego na rzecz kształtowania postaw, kompetencji, dyspozycji i nawyków; wreszcie – inspirowania do aktywności i działań twórczych w wielu dziedzinach życia. Za Gertem Biestą taki model edukacyjny określa się jako „światocentryczny”, bądź „życiocentryczny”, w przeciwieństwie do modelu programocentrycznego, właściwego np. polskiemu systemowi oświaty. W modelu światocentrycznym edukacja staje się przestrzenią kształtowania kluczowych kompetencji egzystencjalnych, jak poznawanie i interpretacja zjawisk, budowanie tożsamości i relacji z innymi, aktywne nastawienie do świata. Tak rozumiana edukacja staje się procesem inicjowania i odkrywania podmiotowości człowieka.
The article presents several contemporary European solutions to the problem of mass, state-organized schooling and education, in terms of educational aims and general philosophy of teaching. A brief overview of the Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish, Irish and Scottish curricula shows that one can distinguish three fundamental tendencies in contemporary education, as far as highly developed, democratic countries are concerned. These tendencies are: supporting the core democratic values; crossing the borders of subject teaching in favor of holistic developing of competencies, attitudes and dispositions, and encouraging to activity and creativity in various fields of life. Gert Biesta defines this model as world-centered, we can also call it life centered – in contrast to the content-centered paradigm of polish curriculum. World-centered education creates the space of developing the key existential competencies like cognition, interpreting of different phenomena, building the self-identity and relations with others, active approach to the world. This is also the process of initiating and revealing the subjectivity of a human being.

„Wielka wyprawa Molly” jest idealnym przykładem przygotowania przedszkolnej widowni do otwartości i szacunku dla odmienności, tolerancji, dialogu i słuchania, współpracy, wspólnego podejmowania decyzji oraz mądrej akceptacji zmian. Ponadto w filmie zaprezentowano krainę, w której każdy mieszkaniec jest inny – bardzo różnią się wielkością czy wyglądem fizycznym, a opowiedziana w nim historia uczy, że inność nie przeszkadza we współpracy, wzajemnym pomaganiu sobie czy podejmowaniu wspólnych decyzji i działań. „Wielka wyprawa Molly” prezentuje nadto otwarte podejście do tradycyjnych ról społecznych, podkreśla rolę wiary we własne możliwości, ale także znaczenie przyznania się do popełnionego błędu oraz wolności w podejmowaniu decyzji.
"Molly Monster" is a perfect example of preparing the preschool audience for openness and respect for difference, tolerance, dialogue and listening, cooperation, joint decision making and wise acceptance of change. The film, showing how the main character, Molly, eagerly and joyfully awaits a big change in her family life - the birth of a sister or a brother, and emphasizes the importance of family ties, can therefore inspire to accept changes and adapt to new situations. In addition, the film presents a land where every inhabitant is very different - in size or physical appearance, and the story teaches that being different does not disturb cooperation, mutual help or making joint decisions and taking actions. The film presents an open approach to traditional social roles, emphasizes the role of self-confidence, but also the importance of admitting one's mistake and freedom in decision making.

The global pandemic has forced many people to make significant changes in their work, personal lives, and everyday duties and activities. This metamorphosis has also significantly affected education systems. Implemented research activity in the learning process and emphasised the development of children’s cooperation have recently been limited and often unattainable because of learner isolation, prevailing home education, and different countries’ COVID-19 quarantine measures. Herein, we investigated and tested the 2020 European spring preparedness, commitment, and erudition of in-service and pre-service teachers and parents in remote education. We profiled the following three paradigm models of successful remote education; specific experience of in-service and pre-service chemistry teachers and the parents of school-age children. Here, we concentrated on sensitive identification of the most common problems, disadvantages, and risks. Prospective teacher training should concentrate more on remote education. It should help develop teachers’ didactic competencies and increase their motivation and willingness to participate in this mode of education.

The paper will present a novel marketing concept of relationship management in higher education and a justification of its application based on the specific character of educational services. The definitions of relationship and relationship management in higher education will be given. The paper will highlight key relationships that should be built by an educational institution with special emphasis placed on students as the most important clients of a school. The paper will proceed to elaborate on the concept of loyalty as the aim of building sustainable relationships with students and its specificity due to the special nature of an educational environment. A student relationship management model will be proposed and discussed as comprising three basic stages of the educational services provision: pre-sales. sales and after-sales stages. The presented model may serve as a basis for further theoretical research or may be applied in practice as it is.

This article is an attempt at developing a model of knowledge management for a tertiary education institution. Three models shall be analysed here: the resource model, the Knowledge Spiral and the process model. Among the necessary conditions for these models to function there are noncompetitive cooperation, suitable motivation of employees to gain, process, share and apply knowledge.
Niniejszy artykuł jest próbą opracowania modelu zarządzania wiedzą w instytucjach szkolnictwa wyższego. Przeanalizowano trzy modele: model zasobowy, model spirali wiedzy oraz model procesowy. Wśród warunków koniecznych do funkcjonowania tych modeli są współdziałanie, odpowiednia motywacja pracowników do zdobywania, dzielenia się i wykorzystywania wiedzy.

The article addresses the problem of modern maritime education and training in the perspective of computer technologies development, especially the internet. Computer-based training is being a standard for the maritime industry for almost 25 years, but there is still no unified approach on the use of this teaching method in MET. Authors suggest to open a conversation on harmonization of standards regarding CBT in the industry and wider implementation of this teaching method into STCW training process via a blended learning approach, where theoretical part of the course may be taken online, while the practical part is taken in the training facility.

The article attempts to systematize the issue of resistance manifestations in the context of education. The analyses presented in the article are an introduction to designing a three-dimensional model of resistance, which enables to examine acts of resistance from the angle of their three intertwined aspects: action, space and motivation. The paper focuses on an assessment of the changes over time in tertiary education’s influence on the level of wages with the application of the Mincerian earnings function method. The conducted empirical research allowed for the identification of growth patterns in the so called pseudo rate of return to higher education in Poland and Germany in the last decade (using data from the Polish Social Diagnosis and German Socio-Economic Panel Study (SOEP)). In addition, an analysis of dynamics of influence of auxiliary factors on earnings (such as gender, geographical location, character of work etc.) is given. Since 1998, when the Sorbonne Declaration was signed, the development and modernization of higher education have been the priorities of the European Union policies. A significant part of the postulated reforms require changes in the area of funding of universities, in particular encouraging a shift from centralized input oriented funding mechanisms towards decentralized outcome oriented financing. In that context one of the key problems is the measurement of the efficiency and effectiveness of various aspects of higher universities activities, including the education area.

This text is a contribution to the discussion on the reform of higher education in Poland. By referring to selected examples, it shows that the planned changes are based on several fundamental myths resulting from the inefficiency of earlier attempts to heal the university system. At the same time, it aims to show why it is necessary to abandon the belief that higher education can be reformed quickly, with little financial outlays, and that the results of the implemented changes can be instant. The text offers also a criticism of the view assuming that the expected changes can be arrived at only through a reform of the law, and that it is possible to transplant solutions functioning in other countries directly to Poland. The presented considerations oppose the position according to which there exist some ideal models of education and research, whose implementation can make it possible to “breed” an ideal scholar. Arguing that education and academic success will always be an outcome of many variables, a critical analysis of selected solutions included in the law on science and higher education has been offered as well.

CEL NAUKOWY: Celem naukowym pracy jest pokazanie wyznaczników formalnych i semantyki wybranych polskich tekstów pedagogicznych z zakresu pedagogiki rodziny. PROBLEM I METODY BADAWCZE: Problem postawiony w pracy dotyczy tego, jakie cechy gatunkowe mają teksty pedagogiczne odnoszące się do wychowywania dzieci, ich kształcenia i opieki nad nimi w rodzinie, oraz tego, jaki przekaz autor kieruje do założonych odbiorców. Metoda badawcza to analiza pojęciowa i porównawcza tekstów z zakresu pedagogiki stworzonych w różnych epokach historycznych (XVI w., XX w. i XXI w.). PROCES WYWODU: W artykule zostały zaprezentowane wyznaczniki semantyczne i leksykalne pojęć „opieka, kształcenie i wychowanie” charakterystyczne dla pedagogiki rodziny. WYNIKI ANALIZY NAUKOWEJ: Analiza wybranych tekstów pedagogicznych pokazuje, iż zagadnienia opieki, kształcenia i wychowania dzieci w rodzinie są nie tyle przedmiotem chłodnej refleksji, ile obiektem żarliwego namysłu i polemiki. WNIOSKI, INNOWACJE, REKOMENDACJE: W celu dogłębnego zbadania cech gatunkowych i wyznaczników semantycznych oraz leksykalnych pojęć odnoszących się do opieki, wychowania i kształcenia w rodzinie konieczne jest stworzenie korpusu tekstowego wszystkich manifestów pedagogicznych adresowanych do rodziców i przeprowadzenie ich analizy pojęciowej.
RESEARCH OBJECTIVE: The scientific goal of the work is to show the formal determinants and semantics of selected Polish pedagogical texts in the field of family pedagogy.   THE RESEARCH PROBLEM AND METHODS: The problem posed in the work relates to what genre features have pedagogical texts on the upbringing of children, their education and care in the family, and what message the author addresses to the intended recipients. The research method is a conceptual and comparative analysis of pedagogy texts created in various historical periods (19th, 20th and 21st). THE PROCESS OF ARGUMENTATION: The article presents the semantic and lexical determinants of concepts CARE, EDUCATION and UPBRINGING characteristic of family pedagogy. RESEARCH RESULTS: The analysis of selected pedagogical texts shows that issue of care, education and upbringing of children in the family are not the subject of cold reflection, but the object of ardent reflection and polemics.   CONCLUSIONS, INNOVATIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS: In order to thoroughly examine the genre features and semantic and lexical determinants of concepts related to family care, upbringing and education, it is necessary to create a text corpus of all parents’ handbooks and conduct their conceptual analysis.

Opis:
Základným predpokladom zdarného priebehu akéhokoľvek verejného podujatia je garantovanie jeho bezpečnosti. Za týmto účelom je potrebné zabezpečiť náležité zaškolenie osôb podieľajúcich sa na realizácii priebehu podujatia. Pri uplatňovaní aktivizujúcich metód môže byť efektívnosť zaškoľovania príslušných osôb výraznou mierou zvyšovaná. V príspevku je prezentovaná metodika využitia konkrétnej modelovej situácie určenej na nácvik kontroly rizík pri organizovaní kultúrno-spoločenských podujatí. Modelová situácia vychádza z organizácie hudobno-tanečného festivalu Outbreak konaného v meste Banská Bystrica.
Success of organizing of any public event is based on its safety guarantee. That is why it is necessary to ensure appropriate training for personnel involved in the realization of the event. Effectiveness of the training can be increased significantly by the use of activating methods. The paper presents a methodology of the use of a particular model situation aimed at the risk control practice at cultural and social events organization. The model situation is derived from the musicdance festival Outbreak organized in the city of Banská Bystrica.
