    Opis:
    Among all sorts of technological and cultural breakthroughs affecting our civilisation which we have witnessed over the last few decades, the changes regarding the most intimate spheres of human nature, those of sexuality, may have passed unnoticed. A series of changes in social norms triggered after 1968 resulted in a situation which, as far as sexuality is concerned, can be described as a real „controversy over human existence”. This paper will briefly outline some of the characteristics of the social changes that have occurred over the past fifty years and which have had a significant impact on the understanding of the nature of sexuality. Then, two apparently competing visions of man, the traditional and the modernist will be compared. As far as the traditional concept is concerned, reference will be made to the teachings of John Paul II. The modernist approach will be illustrated based on the „Standards for Sexuality Education in Europa” formulated by the World Health Organisation. The objective is not to settle the dispute, but to try and highlight its substance as well as the consequences arising from adopting one or the other of the proposed approaches.

    Opis:
    This article presents the concept of marriage love in terms of education. Marriage love is defined as „attitude” including marriage of inclusivity and uniqueness of each of the spouses. Marriage love begins at home and family since the first moments of child's life. Then, in fact, parents satisfy needs of love and belonging, their child and develop his or her ability to love. The child observes their parents and learns from them what is love and how it should look in the future. The element of education for marriage love is the preparation which covers the period of engagement, religious instruction, premarital education, counseling meetings in family life and confession. It is time that the spouses should come to know themselves, their future plans, learn how to communicate and cope with conflicts. Parents' love is the kind of foundation for the later child's love for his or her spouse and gives a shape its expectations for the other person.

    Wychowanie człowieka i duszpasterstwo rodzin mają wspólne korzenie w Bożej pedagogii miłości. Wspólnie pomagają one człowiekowi wejść na drogę dobra wpisanego w jego serce przez Stwórcę. Wychowanie w rodzinie jest uprzywilejowanym miejscem realizacji Bożego zamysłu miłości – głoszenia ewangelii życia i miłości. W dziele tym małżonkowie chrześcijańscy opierają się na mandacie Kościoła, ale potrzebują też eklezjalnego wsparcia w całym procesie i w różnych wymiarach wychowania. Szczególnymi obszarami wsparcia rodziców ze strony kościelnego duszpasterstwa, są: pomoc w wychowaniu seksualnym, religijnym i moralnym oraz w wychowaniu do miłości, małżeństwa i życia w rodzinie. Duszpasterstwo rodzin pomaga też dorastającej młodzieży i młodym dorosłym w samowychowaniu, w formacji uzupełniającej oraz korygującej oddziaływania rodziny pochodzenia i współczesnych wpływów kulturowych.
    The upbringing of a person and the pastoral care of families have a common root in God’s pedagogy of love. Together, they help a person to enter onto the path of goodness inscribed into his or her heart by the Creator. Child-raising in the family is a privileged place for the realization of God’s plan of love – proclaiming the gospel of life and love. In this work, Christian spouses act on the basis of the Church’s mandate, but they also need ecclesial support throughout the process and in the various dimensions of child-raising. Particular areas in which parents need support through the pastoral care of the Church include help in sexual, religious and moral education as well as in raising children for love, marriage and family life. The pastoral care of families also helps adolescents and young adults in self-education and formation to supplement and correct the influence of the family of origin and contemporary cultural influences.

    Wychowywanie uczniów na świadomych i „praktykujących” miłośników języka ojczystego winno być jednym z głównych celów szkolnej edukacji językowej. Język jako taki jest wymagającą uszanowania wartością i dlatego nacechowania etycznego wymagają jego wszystkie użycia. Wspomniany proces należy rozpocząć już na etapie nauczania wczesnoszkolnego. Jest to konieczne, jeżeli szkoła chce się skutecznie przeciwstawić negatywnym zjawiskom w zakresie komunikacji językowej – takim, jak mowa nienawiści, agresja słowna, odstąpienie od stosowania etykiety grzecznościowej.
    The education of students who would become conscious and “practicing” native language lovers should be one of the main purposes of school language training. Language constitutes a value and therefore its usage is marked by ethical features. The above-mentioned process should begin at the very early stage of education. It is a necessary condition if school wants to counteract against negative phenomena present in language communication, like hatred, lexical aggression, abandoning politeness etiquette.

    Zagadnienie edukacji seksualnej wzbudza w przestrzeni publicznej żywe dyskusje i polemiki. W adhortacji Amoris laetitia papież Franciszek zachęca do pogłębionej refleksji nad tym zagadnieniem w świetle pryncypiów wychowawczych inspirowanych mądrością Ewangelii. Autor artykułu przypomina sformułowane przez papieża pryncypia afirmacji godności osoby oraz kształtowania odpowiedzialnej wolności dzięki uformowanemu sumieniu i sprawnościom moralnym, a także zasady powściągliwości i czystości. Są one niezbędne do tego, aby zmierzyć się z aktualnymi wyzwaniami edukacji, do których należą m. in. właściwa formacja moralna, problem banalizacji płciowości czy ideologia gender.
    The issue of sexual education raises emotional discussions and polemics in the public space. In the Apostolic Exhortation Amoris laetitia Pope Francis encourages an in-depth reflection on this issue in the light of the educational principles inspired by the wisdom of the Gospel. The author of this paper recalls the principle of the sexual education: affirmation of the dignity of the person and shaping responsible freedom through the formation of moral conscience and virtues, as well as the principle of restraint and chastity. They are essential and necessary for taking current challenges of education, including proper moral formation, banalisation of sexuality or gender ideology.

    The surveys conducted among 353 students of School Complex no. 19 in Bydgoszcz showed that love for the homeland is a great value for young Poles and its fate is not indifferent to them. Unfortunately, the declarative part of the survey differs significantly from the presented knowledge and the choices made by them. Young people, apart from a good knowledge of national symbols, have a problem with indicating the heroes and important historical events. They barely name titles of patriotic songs, and the main difficulty for them is that they are not familiar with the Polish literature.
    Badania sondażowe przeprowadzone wśród 353 uczniów w Zespole Szkół nr 19 w Bydgoszczy wykazały, że umiłowanie ojczyzny stanowi dla młodych Polaków ogromną wartość, a jej losy nie są im obojętne. Niestety deklaratywna część sondażu różni się znacznie od prezentowanej wiedzy i podejmowanych wyborów. Młodzi ludzie, poza dobrą znajomością symboli narodowych, mają problem ze wskazaniem bohaterów i ważnych historycznych wydarzeń, z trudem wymieniają tytuły pieśni patriotycznych, a najgorzej orientują się w polskiej literaturze.

    The founder of the Order of Franciscan Sisters Servants of the Cross and at the same time a co-founder of the “Laski Work”, who lived in the 20th century, may be considered a wise and sagacious educator. The spiritual notes she left (Notatki and Dyrektorium), written under the influence and at the request of her spiritual guide, reveal Czacka's extraordinary deliberateness. Conscious of human limitations that are a result and a consequence of the original sin, she emphasized the necessity of absolute trust to God, so that discovering His love one could accept anything that He reveals to the man with faith and hope, including the gift and grace of suffering. In the process of Christian formation she also ascribed an important role to prayer as well as to healthy, moderate asceticism. It seems that Czacka's reflections that also today topical, may be a help not only to consecrated people, but also to all those who undertake the work of constant, permanent spiritual formation.

    The aim of this paper is to reconstruct Korczak’s notion of “utopia in action”. The notion is based on the philosophy of education concerned with creating of what is common. In this analysis I leave aside Korczak’s “paidocentrism” and focus on the communal elements in his thought – such as the care for the world that is also a call for its shared reconstruction, and the ontological force of love for the world and the people that populate it. Such an interpretation of Korczak’s thought allows it to become a topical alternative for the essentialist, antagonistic and exclusive ideas concerning community education.

    Statement, that love is an important teaching category, does not surprise anyone. Love however, does not have one name. In above article we show infrequently displayed form of love, social love. In catholic social science, being an interdisciplinary science on theological profile, this love is understood as a basic moral principle of social life. Social love together with a second principle – justice, gives sense to human existence, crating basis for coexistence of societies and nations. In the above article, in light of catholic social teachings proclaimed by John Paul II and Benedict XVI, shows sense and multi-aspect of this principle. This is why we take on subjects such as: love vs. social love, social love vs. social justice, and dimensions of social love (mercy, forgiveness, fundamental (preferential) option for the poor). All of our deliberations conclude on reflection on the role of social love principle in social education.
