    Opis:
    The article proves that a systematic approach to the urban organization of coastal areas includes complex environmental and recreational tasks. The study examines in detail the need to create a comprehensive strategy for the restoration of the coastal zone. The complex of measures is substantiated, among which the activation of water protection functions of coastal areas, rehabilitation of disturbed territories, use of recreational and town-planning potential of coastal territories for formation of recreational base along water area, development of integrated system of management of processes of coastal zones and integration of ecosystems. The work separately highlights the possibility of creating a recreational cluster that will ensure the continuity of the natural framework, given the multi-vector formation of the urban environment. It is established, that the connection of the recreational cluster with the suburban green strip and water area will create a pedestrian recreational corridor in the city and beyond, as well as contribute to the greening of the city and influence the modeling of ecological infrastructure.

    The modern agriculture model is a model based on the principles of sustainable development, i.e. protecting the environment and the cultural landscape on the one hand, and on the other, ensuring adequate income for residents. It is based on three orders: ecological, social and economic. This paper attempts to use cluster analysis to assess the economic and ecological sustainability of organic farms. It also indicates the factors that statistically influenced the assessment of a farm as sustainable, or not. The first part of the work is dedicated to the characteristics of the problem and the methodology of research and analysis. The second part contains the results of the research and discusses them.
    Nowoczesny model rolnictwa, to model oparty na zasadach zrównoważonego rozwoju, tzn. chroniący środowisko i krajobraz kulturowy z jednej strony, a jednocześnie zapewniający odpowiednie dochody mieszkańcom. Oparty jest na trzech ładach: ekologicznym, społecznym i ekonomicznym. W pracy podjęto próbę wykorzystania analizy skupień do oceny zrównoważenia ekonomicznego i ekologicznego gospodarstw ekologicznych. Wskazano czynniki, które statystycznie wpływały na decyzję o tym, które gospodarstwo należy uznać za zrównoważone, a które nie. Część pierwsza pracy poświęcona została charakterystyce problemu i metodyce badań i analiz. Część drugą to wyniki badań i ich omówienie.

    Wzrost wykształcenia konsumentów i propagowanie zachowań zrównoważonej i świadomej konsumpcji determinują zainteresowanie produktami żywnościowymi o naturalnych walorach. W artykule podjęto problematykę oceny zachowań konsumentów na rynku żywności ekologicznej z uwzględnieniem zjawiska świadomych decyzji nabywczych badanych. Badania realizowano w wybranych miastach północno-wschodniej Polski w latach 2010 i 2013, wykorzystując metodę wywiadu bezpośredniego. Z deklaracji badanych respondentów wynika, że w analizowanych okresach badań wzrosło zainteresowanie konsumpcją żywności ekologicznej. Ważnym zjawiskiem jest wzrost zainteresowania badanych żywnością ekologiczną ze względu na jej walory związane z aspektami prospołecznymi. Atrybutem tej żywności, jak wskazują badani, jest fakt, że jej wytwarzanie ogranicza zanieczyszczenie środowiska. Badani deklarują potrzebę promocji informacji w zakresie znaczenia świadomego korzystania z zasobów naturalnych każdego dnia, co jest przejawem wzrastającej świadomości ekologicznej badanych. Główne bariery zakupu żywności ekologicznej to ograniczona dostępność pełnego asortymentu tych produktów, mała liczba miejsc sprzedaży, a przede wszystkim wysoki poziom cen tej żywności.
    The increase in consumer education and developing trends in sustainable and informed consumption triggers curiosity for food products with specific natural values. In their article, the authors discussed the problems of assessment of consumer behaviour in the market for organic food, taking into account the phenomenon of informed purchasing decisions of respondents. The surveys were carried out in the selected towns of north-eastern Poland in 2010 and 2013, with the use of the method of face-to-face interview. The surveyed respondents’ declarations show that in the said periods of research there increased the interest in consumption of organic food. An important phenomenon is the growth of respondents’ interest in organic food for its values connected with the prosocial aspects. The attribute of this food, as the respondents indicate, is the fact that production thereof reduces environmental pollution. The respondents declare the need to promote information as regards the importance of conscious use of natural resources on the daily basis, what is a manifestation of the growing ecological awareness of the surveyed individuals. The main barriers of purchases of organic food are the limited accessibility of a full assortment of these products, low number of selling outlets and, first of all, and the high level of prices of this food.
    Повышение уровня образования потребителей и пропаганда поведения, свойственного устойчивому и сознательному потреблению, определяют интерес к продуктам питания с естественными ценностями. В статье обсудили вопросы оценки поведение потребителей на рынке экологических продуктов питания с учетом явления сознательных покупательских решений опрашиваемых. Изучение проводили в избранных городах северно-восточной Польши в 2010 и 2013 гг., используя метод прямого интервью. Из заявлений опрошенных респондентов вытекает, что в обсуждаемых периодах изучения повысился интерес к потреблению экологических продуктов питания. Важным явлением стал рост интереса опрошенных к экологической пище ввиду ее ценностей, связанных с просоциальными аспектами. Чертой этой пищи, как указывают опрошенные, является факт, что ее производство ограничивает загрязнение среды. Опрашиваемые заявляют о потребности продвижения ин- формации в области сознательного повседневного использования природных ресурсов, что является проявлением растущей экологической сознательности опрошенных. Основные барьеры покупки экологической пищи – ограниченная доступность полного ассортимента этих продуктов, небольшое количество торговых точек, прежде же всего – высокий уровень цен этой пищи.

    The study objects were Aldrovanda vesiculosa L., an endangered species and fifty five water sites in Poland. The aim of the present work was to test the Self-Organizing Feature Map in order to examine and predict water properties and type of trophicity for restoration of the rare plant. Descriptive statistical parameters have been calculated, analysis of variance and cluster analysis were carried out and SOFM model has been constructed for analysed sites. The results of SOFM model and cluster analysis were compared. The study revealed that the ordination of individuals and groups of neurons in topological map of sites are similar in relation to dendrogram of cluster analysis, but not identical. The constructed SOFM model is related with significantly different contents of chemical water properties and type of trophicity. It appeared that sites with A. vesiculosa are predominantly distrophic and eutrophic waters shifted to distrophicity. The elevated model showed the sites with chemical properties favourable for restoration the species. Determined was the range of ecological tolerance of the species in relation to habitat conditions as stenotopic or relatively stenotopic in respect of the earlier accepted eutrophic status. The SOFM appeared to be a useful technique for ordination of ecological data and provides a novel framework for the discovery and forecasting of ecosystem properties constituting a validation of the SOFM method in this type of studies.

    The study objects were 48 microhabitats of five Utricularia species in Lower and Upper Silesia (POLAND). The aim of the paper was to focus on application of the Self-Organizing Feature Map in assessment of water trophicity in Utricularia microhabitats, and to describe how SOFM can be used for the study of ecological subjects. This method was compared with the hierarchical tree plot of cluster analysis to check whether this techniques give similar results. In effect, both topological map of SOFM and dendrogram of cluster analysis show differences between Utricularia species microhabitats in respect of water quality, from eutrophic for U. vulgaris to dystrophic for U. minor and U. intermedia. The used methods give similar results and constitute a validation of the SOFM method in this type of studies.
