    The beginning dates and the lengths of thermic seasons in Warsaw (1951-2004) were analysed. These characteristics of seasons are very variable, especially in winter. The changes of winter length influence strongly the dates and length of adjacent seasons, that is, of early winter and early spring. The current warming is best visible exactly during these seasons: winter becomes shorter, while early winter and - to an even longer degree -early spring become longer. The period of spring, summer and autumn is characterised by grater stability. These seasons showed a very weak tendency to change on even its lack, both as regards the length and the beginning date.

    Opis:
    Field studies on anthropogenic psammophilous swards of the Sileno conicae-Cerastion semidecandri alliance were carried out in the years 2015–2016 in the area of the Adam Mickiewicz University Morasko campus in Poznań, Poland. As a result of a classical table analysis of phytosociological data, five associations were distinguished. The relevés have been arranged with the use of PCA and CCA ordination methods to study the overall variability of the examined communities and their position along some environmental gradients. In the paper, issues concerning successional dynamics and the synsystematical position of swards of the studied type, are also raised.

Multi-faceted, detailed representation of mythological semantics gives an imperative for participants of the ritual to welcome spring in another world. Mythological semantics in the acts of “gukannya vyasny” is connected with the semantics of girls’ rituals of growing-up, and with the concept of dying and resurrected nature.

    Opis:
    The increase of Lyme borreliosis (LB) can be expected due to climate change, while the distribution of the disease and annual activity of the vector and host animals depend on several factors of the environment. The presented study aimed to assess expressly the spring season temperature dependence on the incidence of LB in Hungary. The weekly LB data were obtained from the National Epidemiologic and Surveillance System for a period of 13 years – 1998–2010. Daily temperature data were derived from the European Climate Assessment and Dataset. The association was studied at national level, descriptive statistics and linear regression models were applied. A significant increasing trend was observed in the mean temperature of the analysed years (0.052 °C per year). The annual LB incidence doubled during the 13 year period. The incidence rates of the periods 1998–2001 and 2007–2010 were 11.1 resp. 17.0 per 100,000. The start of a steep increase in weekly LB incidence (0.1 per 100,000) shifted significantly by 3 weeks earlier, the start date of spring showed similar trend (p=0.0041). LB incidence increased more steadily in spring than in summer, with 79% of the increase being reported during weeks 15–28, with maximum rates of increase occurring in weeks 23–25. The trend was significant between the weeks 15–28. In the warmer years with 19.02 °C mean temperature in May and June, the LB incidence curve reached the annual peak 2–3 weeks earlier, and the descending phase of the curve started earlier than in the colder years with 17.06 °C of the same period.

    The aim of the below article is to outline the assumptions of therapeutic preschool SPRING model and its influence on social functioning improvement among children with autism spectrum disorder. The research question focuses on determining the progress of children with autism disorder in social functioning sphere. It also presents the influence of the therapy according to SPRING model and the acquisition of communication and social skills by children.

Model przedszkolno- terapeutyczny SPRING przygotowuje dziecko do funkcjonowania w szkole masowej/ integracyjnej.
    The aim of the below article is to outline the assumptions of therapeutic preschool SPRING model and its influence on social functioning improvement among children with autism spectrum disorder. The research question focuses on determining the progress of children with autism disorder in social functioning sphere. It also presents the influence of the therapy according to SPRING model and the acquisition of communication and social skills by children. The analysis has been conducted on the base of children observation, a parent interview, children’s works analysis, a diagnostic sheet – a multi- specialized evaluation of a student’s performance level. Therapeutic preschool SPRING model prepares a child for functioning in a regular/inclusive school.
