Opis:: The paper concerns e-content characteristic features development to be used in Internet distance learning database. The elaborated e-applications development platform; Multimedia Applications Management Shell (MAMS) was elaborated for simplification of the application structure and for management of the unit. The MAMS platform works together with Quality Repetitions Unit (QRU) that controls the application flow and its repetition. Then, it produces the status of the application transmitted into the user personal data record. Both platforms provide the user with several standards, formats, objects and toll boxes used as an e-learning system library. The standardisation simplifies the application development and the application exploration. The defined standards are needed for Distance Learning System organisation that is at present under development at the University of Silesia.

Opis:: The paper presents the one e-content example used as a pattern solution for distance learning resources development at the University of Silesia. The Intranet technologies were used as networking services for training processes control and future distribution services at the University of Silesia distance learning network. The given solution provides the development team at Distance Learning Technologies Centre with various unifications and library units of four courses that are under development at present in Department of Computer Systems, institute of Informatics. All the applications are running on MAMS (Multimedia Applications Management Shell) environment as a common frame structure for every e-lesson. The MAMS applications are provided with several mechanisms that allow monitoring the user knowledge level and study progress. Various examples of the applications layout and their characteristic features are presented in this contribution.

Opis:: The main aim of the article is to analyse the influence of the up-to-date nature of a selected organization’s website content on the perception of its image in terms of reputation management from the consumers’ point of view through a research. The research intends to test the effectiveness of the impact of various elements of online marketing campaigns on the perception of organization by consumers. For this purpose we chose the company from among small and medium-sized businesses which actively engages itself in marketing campaigns in the Internet environment, and therefore it is possible to examine and evaluate the influence of these activities on the perception of the given organization. As shown by the research results, it can be assumed that the perceived up-to-date nature of the web content, regarding the chosen web pages, is directly dependent on the perceived influence of website on the image of the chosen company. Furthermore, the article aims to assess chances this issue brings to marketers and at the same time point out the main pitfalls.
Głównym celem artykułu jest analiza wpływu nowoczesnego charakteru zawartości strony internetowej wybranej organizacji na postrzeganie jej wizerunku w zakresie zarządzania reputacją z punktu widzenia konsumentów za pośrednictwem badań. Badanie ma na celu sprawdzenie efektywności wpływu różnych elementów kampanii marketingowych online na postrzeganie organizacji przez konsumentów. W tym celu spośród małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw wybraliśmy firmę, która aktywnie angażuje się w kampanie marketingowe w środowisku internetowym, a więc jest możliwe zbadanie i ocena wpływu tych działań na postrzeganie danej organizacji. Jak przedstawiono w wynikach badań, można założyć, że postrzegany nowoczesny charakter treści internetowej, w odniesieniu do wybranych stron, jest bezpośrednio zależny od postrzeganego wpływu strony internetowej na wizerunek wybranego przedsiębiorstwa. Ponadto artykuł ma na celu ocenić szanse, jakie kwestia ta przynosi marketingowcom i jednocześnie podkreślić główne pułapki.

Opis:: Celem pracy była ocena stężenia witamin A, E i C w osoczu krwi osób starszych, >65 roku życia, przed i po 30-to dniowej suplementacji witaminowej. Do badań zakwalifikowano 22 zdrowe osoby. Oznaczenia badanych witamin wykonano przy użyciu spektrofotometru dwuwiązkowego UV/Vis Lambda 14p (Perkin Elmer). Przed suplementacją stwierdzono obniżone wartości badanych witamin w surowicy. Zastosowana 30 dniowa suplementacja wpłynęła na zwiększenie zawartości badanych witamin u 15% badanych.
The aim of the work was the estimation of the vitamins A, E and C concentration in the plasma of 22 healthy elder persons, before and after 30 days of additional supplementation. Vitamins were determined with double beam spectrophotometer UV/Vis Lambda 14p (Perkin Elmer). Before additional supplementation the lower content of vitamins was observed. The 30 days diet supplementation by vitamins caused increase of their content in the serum in 15% adults.
