Opis:
Do rozwiązania zadania optymalizacji dynamicznej zastosowano gradientowe i stochastyczne metody optymalizacji. Przedstawiono porównanie wyników otrzymanych za pomocą różnych metod optymalizacji oraz wyniki uzyskane w przypadku modelowania momentów hamujących z użyciem funkcji sklejanych.
The paper presents a method of determining the optimal braking torque acting on the wheels of the vehicle in critical situations. It has been analysed a articulated vehicle motion during cornering. During the maneuver, the nominal trajectory is disturbed by the obstacle and the vehicle performs lane changing. Such a situation is dangerous and it can lead to roll-over of the vehicle. In order to prevent such situations optimal braking torques have been calculated to restore stability of the articulated vehicle. Courses of the braking torques have been modeled by means of the Fourier series. Amplitudes of the series have been calculated by solving dynamic optimisation task. In order to solve this task different gradient and stochastic optimisation methods have been applied. The paper presents a comparison of results obtained using different optimisation methods and the results obtained when courses of braking torques have been modeled by means of cubic spline functions.

Opis:
The non-uniform air gap in an electrical machine caused by rotor eccentricity creates an asymmetrical flux-density distribution in the air gap. This can affect the nominal torque produced by the machine. Eccentricity also produces forces that act on the rotor which may also have an effect on the torque. Thus, it is important to know how the torque of the machine behaves. In this paper, the torque of a cage induction machine is studied when the machine has dynamic eccentricity. The study is performed using the finite element method and a magnetic vector potential formulation. The torque is calculated by the method of energy balance. The harmonic components of the torque are also analyzed. The results show that the machine under eccentricity does not exhibit the same torque as a normal healthy machine. The harmonic components around the first principal slot harmonic is most affected.

Opis:
In-orbit capture of a non-cooperative satellite will be a major challenge in the proposed servicing and active debris removal missions. The contact forces between the manipulator end-effector and the elements of the target object will occur in the grasping phase. In this paper, an active 6 Degrees of Freedom (DoF) force/torque control method for manipulator mounted on a free-floating servicing satellite is proposed. The main aim of the presented method is to balance the relation between end-effector position and force along each direction in the Cartesian space. The control law is based on the Dynamic Jacobian, which takes into account the influence of the manipulator motion on the state of the servicing satellite. The proposed approach is validated in numerical simulations with a simplified model of contact. Comparison with the classical Cartesian control shows that the active 6 DoF force/torque control method allows to obtain better positioning accuracy of the end-effector and lower control torques in manipulator joints in the presence of external forces.

Opis:
The article presents torque characteristic of the engine in dynamic operating conditions as a function of engine speed and throttle opening angle. All mentioned parameters are analyzed as independent variables over time. To develop such a characteristic an artificial neural network is used. The training data were obtained from measurements carried out on the test bench on SI engine. The operating states reflect all possible configurations of these parameters, which may occur during use of the vehicle in real traffic conditions. The article shows design of an artificial neural network that allows to designate the required dependences. Moreover, it describes the fit of the model to the measurement data, which clearly indicates its correctness. Then the developed characteristic in dynamic states is compared with the characteristic in static working states. The differences between them for selected cases of engine operation states are presented. It shows the versatility of the presented method.

Opis:
Difficult geological and mining conditions as well as great stresses in the rock mass result in significant deformations of the rocks that surround the workings and also lead to the occurrence of tremors and rock bursts. Yielding steel arch support has been utilised in the face of hard coal extraction under difficult conditions for many years, both in Poland and abroad. A significant improvement in maintaining gallery working stability is achieved by increasing the yielding support load capacity and work through bolting; however, the use of rock bolts is often limited due to factors such as weak roof rock, significant rock mass fracturing, water accumulation, etc. This is why research and design efforts continue in order to increase yielding steel arch support resistance to both static and dynamic loads. Currently, the most commonly employed type of yielding steel arch support is a support system with frames constructed from overlapping steel arches coupled by shackles. The yield of the steel frame is accomplished by means of sliding joints constructed from sections of various profiles (e.g. V, TH or U-type), which slip after the friction force is exceeded; this force is primarily dependent on the type of shackles and the torque of the shackle screw nuts. This article presents the static bench testing results of ŁP10/V36/4/A, ŁP10/V32/4/A and ŁP10/V29/4/A yielding steel arch support systems formed from S480W and S560W steel with increased mechanical properties. The tests were conducted using 2 and 3 shackles in the joint, which made it possible to compare the load capacities, work values and characteristics of various types of support. The following shackle screw torques were used for the tests: Md = 500 Nm – for shackles utilised in the support constructed from V32 and V36 sections. Md = 400 Nm – for shackles utilised in the support constructed from V29 sections. The shackle screw torques used during the tests were greater compared to the currently utilised standard shackle screw torques within the range of Md = 350-450 Nm. Dynamic testing of the sliding joints constructed from V32 section with 2 and 3 shackles was also performed. The SD32/36W shackles utilised during the tests were produced in the reinforced versions and manufactured using S480W steel. Since comparative testing of a rock bolt-reinforced steel arch support system revealed that the bolts would undergo failure at the point of the support yield, a decision was made to investigate the character of the dynamics of this phenomenon. Consequently, this article also presents unique measurement results for top section acceleration values registered in the joints during the conduction of support tests at fullscale.Filming the yield in the joint using high-speed video and thermal cameras made it possible to register the dynamic characteristics of the joint heating process at the arch contact point as well as the mechanical sparks that accompanied it. Considering that these phenomena have thus far been poorly understood, recognising their significance is of great importance from the perspective of occupational safety under the conditions of an explosive atmosphere, especially in the light of the requirements of the new standard EN ISO 80079-36:2016, harmonised with the ATEX directive.
