Opis:
The agent technology has recently become one of the most vibrant and fastest growing areas in information technology. On of the most promising characteristics of agent is its intelligence. Intelligent agent is the agent that percepts its environment, collects all information about its environment that it needs, processes these information and then generate proper actions according to these information. This paper discusses trends and differences between two main types of intelligence that can be applied to agent: accumulative intelligence and dynamic intelligence. Accumulative intelligence is discussed with its two perspectives: moment perspective and historical perspective. Auto-vehicle driver is also discussed as an application example of accumulative intelligence. Also, MOSAIC, Mimesis, and MINDY models are reviewed as the pioneering works of dynamic intelligence.

Opis:
The aim of this study was to gain more in-depth understanding of students’ emotions in an EFL context by applying dynamic assessment (DA) procedures to the development of learners’ emotional intelligence. The study with 50 intermediate learners aged 12-15 used three modalities: a control group, which was taught under institute’s normal procedures; a comparison group, which received DA; and an experimental group, which received emotionalized dynamic assessment (EDA) procedures, in the form of an intervention focusing on emotional characteristics of Goleman's emotional intelligence framework with the express purpose of inducing them to work with their emotions. The study shows the potential of EDA for increasing one’s emotional intelligence and affords practical guidelines to language teachers as to how to incorporate behaviors relating to emotional intelligence into assessment procedures.

Opis:
In our previous work, Fitness Predator Optimizer (FPO) is proposed to avoid premature convergence for multimodal problems. In FPO, all of the particles are seen as predators. Only the competitive, powerful predator that are selected as an elite could achieve the limited opportunity to update. The elite generation with roulette wheel selection could increase individual independence and reduce rapid social collaboration. Experimental results show that FPO is able to provide excellent performance of global exploration and local minima avoidance simultaneously. However, to the higher dimensionality of multimodal problem, the slow convergence speed becomes the bottleneck of FPO. A dynamic team model is utilized in FPO, named DFPO to accelerate the early convergence rate. In this paper, DFPO is more precisely described and its variant, DFPO-r is proposed to improve the performance of DFPO. A method of team size selection is proposed in DFPO-r to increase population diversity. The population diversity is one of the most important factors that determines the performance of the optimization algorithm. A higher degree of population diversity is able to help DFPO-r alleviate a premature convergence. The strategy of selection is to choose team size according to the higher degree of population diversity. Ten well-known multimodal benchmark functions are used to evaluate the solution capability of DFPO and DFPO-r. Six benchmark functions are extensively set to 100 dimensions to investigate the performance of DFPO and DFPO-r compared with LBest PSO, Dolphin Partner Optimization and FPO. Experimental results show that both DFPO and DFPO-r could demonstrate the desirable performance. Furthermore, DFPO-r shows better robustness performance compared with DFPO in experimental study.

Opis:
The compatibility of “higher contrast” and “whole anatomic structure visualization” is difficult to achieve in conventional processing. Dynamic Visualization II, which is a new image-processing method, solves this problem. This processing method is based on a new technology that estimates a patient’s thickness and structure from X-ray image information, which penetrates through the patient’s body. This processing method can improve the visualization of an entire body part and can minimize the need for additional adjustments in the X-ray image’s density and contrast.

Opis:
Building a dynamic collision knowledge base of self-learning is one of the core contents of implementing "personified intelligence" in Personifying Intelligent Decision-making for Vessel Collision Avoidance (short for PIDVCA). In the paper, the machine learning method of PIDVCA combined with offline artificial learning and online machine learning is proposed. The static collision avoidance knowledge is acquired through offline artificial learning, and the isomeric knowledge representation integration method with process knowledge as the carrier is established, and the Dynamic collision avoidance knowledge is acquired through online machine learning guided by inference engine. A large number of simulation results show that the dynamic collision avoidance knowledge base constructed by machine learning can achieve the effect of anthropomorphic intelligent collision avoidance. It is verified by examples that the machine learning method of PIDVCA can realize target perception, target cognition and finally obtain an effective collision avoidance decision-making.

Opis:
The article presents an approach to formulating a ship control process model in order to solve the problem of determining a safe ship trajectory in collision situations. Fuzzy process properties are included in the model to bring it closer to reality, as in many situations the navigator makes a subjective decision. A special neural network was used to solve the presented problem. This artificial neural network is characterized by minimum and maximum operations when set. In order to confirm the correctness of the operation of the proposed algorithm, the results of the simulations obtained were presented and an discussion was conducted.
