    The objective of this contribution is to characterize alternatives of information systems used for managing, processing and evaluation of information related to company vehicles. Especially we focus on logging, transferring and processing of on-road vehicle movement information in inland and international transportation. This segment of company information system has to monitor the car movement - actively or passively - according to demand of the company and after the processing it has to evaluate and give the complex monitoring of a situation of all the company vehicles to the controller.
    Celem niniejszej pracy jest scharakteryzowanie alternatyw systemów informatycznych używanych do zarządzania, przetwarzania i oceny informacji związanych z pojazdami firmowymi. Zwracamy szczególnie uwagę na rejestrowanie, przekazywanie i przetwarzanie informacji o ruchu pojazdu na drodze w transporcie krajowym i międzynarodowym. Ten segment systemu informatycznego firmy ma monitorować ruch samochodów - czynnie lub biernie - według potrzeb firmy i po przetworzeniu ma ocenić i zapewnić kompleksowe monitorowanie sytuacji wszystkich pojazdów firmowych dla kontrolera.

    The work concerns the analysis of the possibilities of using light aircraft in the regional passenger transport. This analysis was based on the existing airport infrastructure in Poland. Between 43 existing airports with paved runways and length more than 1,000 meters potential routes of aircraft traffic were set. The study compared the light aircraft transport to the car transport. One of the benchmark criteria was the travel time between different destinations, using both means of transport. The second criterion is the financial aspects of travel. For this purpose, a statistics of light aircraft and calculated their Direct Operating Cost as a function of various parameters such as maximum weight, the number of passenger seats, cruise speed were created. Analysis also included air navigation charges on the routes and the operator profit. The calculations allowed identifying potential routes where the plane would be competitive with the car in terms of travel time and costs by one person. The number of these routes was dependent on the speed of travel, the number of seats on the plane as well as the fill factor of these seats. The analysis also applies to determine the number of passengers traveling between the regions. In 2013, domestic air transport handled less than 2.5 million passengers, which in comparison to the countries of Western Europe is a poor result. This is caused mainly by a small amount of domestic routes as well as a small number of regional airports. The implementation of the concept of using light aircraft in regional connections aims to increase the speed of travel, increase the safety in passenger transport, cost reduction and partial replacement of road transport by air transport.

    W artykule zostało przedstawione praktyczne podejście do niezarobkowego przewozu zwierząt na terenie Unii Europejskiej. Starano się stworzyć swego rodzaju poradnik, który ułatwiłby podróże wraz ze zwierzętami. Artykuł ma pomóc w podjęciu decyzji począwszy od rodzaju dokumentów, jakie zwierzę powinno mieć, przez szczegółowe zasady identyfikacji zwierzęcia, aż po dodatkowe wymogi i ograniczenia transportowe stawiane przez niektóre kraje członkowskie Unii Europejskiej. Celem pracy jest pomoc w zapewnieniu komfortu przewozu zarówno dla właściciela, jak i samego zwierzęcia, dzięki wykonaniu danego transportu w sposób legalny z uniknięciem przykrych konsekwencji.
    The article was presented a practical approach to the non-profit transport of domestic animals in the territory of European Union. Authors tried to create a kind of tutorial which would facilitate decisions associated with the animal transport. The article was focused on various aspects from the type of document that should an animal get, through the detailed rules for the animal identification, to requirements and restrictions connected with transport imposed by some Member States of the European Union. The article aims to provide a comfortable transport for both the owner and the animal. It should presented how to make the transport in a legal way to avoid unpleasant consequences.

    W artykule omówiono wybrane aspekty efektywności transportu wodnego śródlądowego i lotniczego w Polsce w przewozach krajowych. Transport jako dziedzina determinująca wzrost gospodarczy, powinna charakteryzować się dynamiką rozwoju. Żegluga śródlądowa pomimo przedstawionych zalet techniczno-ekonomicznych i środowiskowych należy do najrzadziej wybieranego środka transportu. Do najważniejszych ograniczeń należy zaliczyć problemy ze zmiennością przepływów i niewystarczającą długość i głębokość dróg wodnych. Natomiast w obszarze transportu lotniczego pomimo wzrostu przewozu i rozwoju technologii, nadal występuje duży negatywny wpływ na środowisko i wysokie koszty transportu.
    Selected aspects of the efficiency of inland waterway transport and air transport in Poland for domestic transport has been presented. Transport is an area determining economic growth and should be characterized by dynamic development. Inland waterway transport, despite the advantages of technical-economic and environmental impacts is one of the least frequently chosen means of transport. The most important limitations include problems with flow volatility and insufficient length and depth of the waterways. However, in the field of air transport, despite the growth of freight transport and technology, there is still a big negative impact on the environment and high cost of transport.

    Sieć dróg krajowych w Polsce w ostatnich kilku latach została wyposażona w około 100 instalacji systemów preselekcyjnego ważenia pojazdów w ruchu. Bezpośrednim celem tych inwestycji jest wyeliminowanie z ruchu pojazdów przeciążonych. Informacje gromadzone przez system zawierają również dane statystyczne m.in. o ruchu pojazdów ciężkich. Dane, jakie zarządcy ruchu pozyskują z punktów wag preselekcyjnych, zawierają miedzy innymi informacje o liczbie, kategorii, wadze oraz długości pojazdów. W artykule zbadano zależność pomiędzy danymi (pozyskanymi na przestrzeni 2 lat ze stacji preselekcyjnych) dotyczącymi pojazdów ciężkich oraz wielkością Produktu Krajowego Brutto. Obecny wzrost Produktu Krajowego Brutto w głównej mierze spowodowany jest wzrostem popytu krajowego; określenie jego relacji do uzyskanych danych z wag preselekcyjnych może pozwolić wyciągnąć wnioski, na podstawie których będzie można podejmować działania zmierzające do wzrostu efektywności transportu lądowego.
    Network of trunk roads in Poland in past several years was equipped about 100 pre-selective weigh-in-motion systems. Direct goal of these investments is to eliminate overloaded vehicles from traffic. However, information gathered by the system include statistic data about, among others, movement of heavy vehicles. Data gathered by traffic management from pre-selective weighing points include information about number, category, weigh and length of vehicles. This article will examine the correlation between data gathered from pre-selective stations regarding heavy vehicles in last 2 years and the gross domestic product. Current growth of the gross domestic product is mainly caused by the increase in domestic demand. Setting its relations to the obtained data from pre-selective weighs will allow to draw conclusion based on which specific actions can be taken in order to increase efficiency of land transport.

    The article presents the selected means of transport with regards to realization of transport services in domestic tourism. It was done the task, which allowed for assessment the selected means of transport with reference to personal preference of the authors. For this purpose authors prepared a trip Radom - Gdańsk - Warsaw - Radom based at means of transport: airplane, train, coach.

    The analysis of the motor-car transport development after the transformation of the political system and economy in Poland in 1989 was made in this article. The development of domestic roads in this country with taking into account the constructed highways was also presented. Also the leading role for load carriages in the motor-car transportation was indicated. Some law provisions obligatory for transport agents on the territory of the European Union and the quantities of the transported loads and passengers in the international motor-car transport in 2003-2013 were also taken into consideration in this article. Moreover, the problems of Polish transport agents operating on the territory of the European Union were indicated.
