Opis:
This article presents the library of the theological seminary in canonical terms. The library of the seminary is an institution which collects, processes and offers readers the collections owned by the seminary. The first part of this article shows the necessity for the seminary library. It then describes the collection of the seminary library, which should contain primarily works in the field of Christian philosophy, psychology, theological sciences and materials necessary for learning foreign languages. It is emphasized that the seminary library is not only a book collection, but also the entire infrastructure, the aim of which is to serve the functioning of the library. The paper also presents those people who are in charge of the seminary library: a diocesan bishop, the rector of the seminary and a librarian, as well as other library staff, both full-time ones and volunteers.

This article aims to present the diocesan catechetical office and its tasks. In the first part, the history of the creation of the diocesan catechetical office is depicted. The second part highlights an obligation to appoint a diocesan catechetical department, and the third part is dedicated to the tasks of such an institution.

The article attempts to present the issue of legal possibilities concerning munus sanctificandi, granted to diocesan bishops by the Code of Canon Law of 1983. Sanctification is one of the main tasks diocesan bishops are faced with. The Code, then, declares that “the bishops in the first place exercise the sanctifying function; they are the high priests, the principal dispensers of the mysteries of God, and the directors, promoters, and guardians of the entire liturgical life in the Church entrusted to them” (Canon 835 § 1). The brief introduction to the first part is followed by a description of the areas of the sanctifying function of the Church – areas which the diocesan bishop is obliged to regulate. The considerations in this article focus on the following issues (to be canonically regulated by the diocesan): regulations in liturgy matters, appropriate celebration and admission to the Sacraments, liturgic functions of the laity, communicatio in sacris), Holy Sacraments, extrasacramental acts of God’s cult, as well as holy places and festivals. The above legislative competences can be realized both at a synod and elsewhere.

Niniejszy artykuł poświęcony został organizacji katechezy w diecezji. Najpierw zaprezentowano urząd biskupa diecezjalnego, który jest pierwszym katechetą i organizuje nauczanie w swojej diecezji. Następnie ukazano kurię diecezjalną jako narzędzie świadczące pomoc biskupowi diecezjalnemu w organizowaniu katechezy. Szczególnie wyeksponowano rolę wydziału katechetycznego, który winien być powołany w każdej diecezji. Końcowa część przedłożenia traktuje o organizacji kształcenia katechetó;w.
The following article is devoted to the organisation of cathesis in the diocese. Firstly, the diocesan Bishop's office is presented, who is the first catechist and is the person who organises teaching in his diocese. Next, the diocesan curia is discussed, which is the tool for helping the diocesan Bishop in organising the catechesis. The Catechetical Office, which should be set up in every diecese, is particularly emphasised. The final part of the submission is connected with the organisation of the catechists' education.

The aim of the article is to present the practice of placing sacred images in churches. The first part presents the view of the Church towards the cult of sacred images. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie zagadnienia administratora diecezjalnego jako szafarza sakramentu bierzmowania. W pierwszej części niniejszego studium przedstawiono prawo wiernych do otrzymania sakramentu bierzmowania. W części drugiej ukazano problematykę szafarza bierzmowania, natomiast część trzecia została poświęcona rozwiązaniu kwestii: czy administrator diecezjalny ex ipso iure ma obowiązek i prawo udzielania sakramentu bierzmowania? Konkluzje zawarto we wnioskach zamykających podjęte rozważania.
Метою статті є представити питання адміністратора дієцезії як служителя тайни миропомазання. Перша частина цього дослідження стосується права вірних отримати тайнy миропомазання. Друга частина представляє питання служителя миропомазання, а третя частина присвячена вирішенню питання: чи має адміністратор дієцезії ex ipso iure обов’язок і право уділяти миропомазання? Висновки містяться в заключних підсумках.
Цель данной статьи – представить вопрос о епархиальном администраторе как служителе таинства Миропомазания. В первой части данного исследования изложено право верующих на принятие таинства Миропомазания. Во второй части представлена к обсуждению проблематика служителя Миропомазания, а третья часть посвящена решению вопроса: имеет ли епархиальный администратор ex ipso iure обязанность и право совершать таинство Миропомазания? Выводы приводятся в заключении обсуждения.
The purpose of the article is to present the issue of a diocesan administrator as a minister of the sacrament of confirmation. The first section of the study outlines the right of a worshipper to receive the sacrament of confirmation. The second section presents the issue of the minister of the sacrament of confirmation, while the third section is devoted to answering the question: Is the diocesan administrator, ex ipso iure, obliged and entitled to administer the sacrament of confirmation? The conclusions are included in the summary at the end of the undertaken considerations.

Eucharistic processions carried out outside the Church are the public testimonies to honour the Holy Eucharist. The paper analyses the issue of an Eucharistic procession in the light of the Canon Law. The study successively presents the following issues: Eucharistic processions as a manifestation of the public testimony to the Holy Eucharist, the course of the procession and its organization, and the role of the diocesan Bishop in the conduct and organization of the Eucharistic processions.
Procesje eucharystyczne prowadzone poza kościołem są publicznym świadectwem czci wobec Najświętszej Eucharystii. Przedmiotem niniejszego opracowania jest zagadnienie procesji eucharystycznych w ujęciu prawa kanonicznego. Zostały kolejno ukazane następujące kwestie: procesje eucharystyczne jako wyraz publicznego świadectwa czci wobec Najświętszej Eucharystii, przebieg procesji i jej organizacja oraz rola biskupa diecezjalnego w kwestiach odbywania i organizacji procesji eucharystycznych.

Celem artykułu jest nakreślenie roli biskupa diecezjalnego w procesie skróconym o nieważność małżeństwa. Biskup jest tu jedynym sędzią i nie może tej władzy nikomu delegować. W pierwszej części artykułu ukazano przesłanki dla zastosowania procesu skróconego. W części drugiej przedstawiono elementy formalne konieczne dla wszczęcia procesu skróconego, natomiast część trzecia została poświęcona problematyce biskupa diecezjalnego jako jedynego sędziego w processus brevior.
The aim of the article is to outline the role of the diocesan bishop in the shortened process for nullity of marriage. The bishop is the only judge here and cannot delegate this authority to anyone. The first part of the article presents the reasons for the application of the shortened process. The second part presents the formal elements necessary to initiate the shortened process, while the third part is devoted to the issues of the diocesan bishop as the only judge in the processus brevior.
