    El trabajo intenta demostrar que la ambigüedad en su sentido tradicional ha de diferenciarse de la vaguedad y de la omisión de información gramatical o léxica, tan frecuente en los titulares de prensa. Un análisis minucioso de los ejemplos de nuestro corpus nos ha llevado a elaborar algunas conclusiones relevantes en este campo: 1. En ambos tipos de prensa –tradicional y digital– y en las lenguas sometidas a análisis –español, francés y polaco–, la frecuencia de los titulares ambiguos, en el sentido clásico del término, es notablemente baja. 2. Entre los ejemplos analizables, la más frecuente es la ambigüedad de tipo léxico, particularmente en titulares no informativos y en prensa electrónica. 3. La presencia de ambigüedad pragmática o sintáctica en los titulares de prensa parece ser científicamente insignificante. En último lugar, el trabajo arroja luz sobre un aspecto que no se aborda normalmente en los trabajos sobre el discurso periodístico, es decir, se intenta comprobar que la ambigüedad es un fenómeno que aparece a menor escala en los medios oficiales –periódicos– y en mayor medida en medios menos oficiales (portales electrónicos) que reúnen lo informativo y el ocio.

    Opis:
    The aim of the study is to present digitalization as a method of virtual consolidation and sharing of scattered collections or those remaining outside the country, which due to their nature are closely related to the circle of Polish culture. The analysis was based on the conclusions resulting from the project of digital consolidation of the collection of the Polish press (1801–1939) of the National Ossoliński Institute during the Lviv period of activity, numbering in September 1939 no fewer than 5000 titles, which, as a result of territorial changes (1945), ended up outside the country. As a result of the efforts undertaken in the years 1946–1947, nearly 1,300 press titles were donated to Wrocław in the form of a “gift”, more than half of which were distributed as a result of the transfer of some annuals or only a supplement, when the main journal was kept. As a result, a total of about 3000 titles remained in Lviv, including over 700 completely or partially unavailable in Poland, currently stored in the Vasyl Stefanyk National Scientific Library of Ukraine in Lviv. The study attempts to search for a method to increase the efficiency of creating digital collections of collections scattered or unavailable in Poland, the comprehensive disclosure of which is often possible only through digital archiving.

    The paper presents the technology of production of multi-layer, large-size composite panels shaped by vacuum pressing. The advantages and possibilities of using composite panels as a modern material for the construction of special-purpose transport systems replacing traditional steel and aluminium are indicated. Examples of design solutions for mobile specialized transport systems are presented. For construction of walls, roofs, floors and doors, composite panels with specific strength, aesthetic and hygienic requirements were used. Thanks to the use of lightweight and durable composite panels and the technology used, their joining is resistant to extreme weather conditions, rigid, light and functional, free of all thermal bridges, thus we received mobile container systems with very good insulation parameters.

    Opis:
    The digitization of materials that is their implementation into the memory of computers, is now the most popular method of preservation, as well as the popularization of cultural heritage. The pioneers in this field were Americans, including Michael Hart, who as early as in the 1970s made the first successful digitization of the Declaration of Independence. Databases created there offer access to resources which are impressive with their multitude of files. The lack of fees and the ability to look closely at the materials and familiarize with them make research easier and faster. US standards may serve as inspiration for actions aimed at protecting and popularizing works collected in Polish institutions.
    Digitalizacja materiałów, czyli ich wprowadzanie do pamięci komputerów, jest obecnie najpopularniejszą metodą zachowywania i upowszechniania dziedzictwa kultury. Pionierami w tej dziedzinie byli Amerykanie, np. Michael Hart, który już w latach 70. XX w. dokonał pierwszej udanej cyfryzacji Deklaracji niepodległości. Powstałe tam bazy danych, oferujące dostęp do źródeł, imponują mnogością plików, a brak opłat i możliwość precyzyjnego przyjrzenia się i dokładnego zapoznania z materiałami ułatwiają pracę badawczą. Wzorce amerykańskie mogą posłużyć jako inspiracja do działań mających na celu ochronę i popularyzację dzieł zgromadzonych w polskich instytucjach.

    This article examines changes in Polish local press at the turn of the second and the third decade of the 21st Century, directly or indirectly related to the coronavirus pandemic. For years, statistics have been showing declining sales of printed press. This is mainly the case of the general-interest newspapers – national, regional, and local alike. Internet media platforms are increasingly important and often take over the role of the leading local media. Due to their limited reach, local publishers felt the losses from reduced advertising revenue and copy sales even more acutely than national publishers. Local press and small publishing teams struggled to cope with the impact of the pandemic and demand for digitization. So, what will the local press look like in the following years? How will the pandemic change the face of the local press? This study addresses these issues based on findings from desk research, case studies, and content analysis of relevant media. The result of the research is the confirmation of changes in the field of local communication, especially in its channels. The printed press arouses less and less interest among recipients and ceases to function as the fourth estate.

    Celem artykułu jest prezentacja zasobów Polonijnej Biblioteki Cyfrowej oraz ukazanie jej znaczenia w sieci bibliotek cyfrowych w Polsce. Powstanie PBC jest wynikiem rewolucji w nauce jaką niesie z sobą rozwój ICT. Dzięki projektowi Polonijnej Biblioteki Cyfrowej badacze z całego świata mają dostęp do unikatowych zbiorów dokumentujących działalność polskiej diaspory. W zasobach Biblioteki znajduje się głównie XX-wieczna prasa społeczności polskiej z Ameryki Południowej jednak można w niej znaleźć dokumenty z każdego zakątka świata. Wiele materiałów ma charakter unikatowy i dostępne są jedynie poprzez PBC.
