    Opis:
    In this paper a difference method of solving the system of differential equations is presented for differential equations, describing the distribution of temperature and water content in the greenhouse substrate heated with a system of heating pipes. The algorithm of solving the proposed method (explicite-implicite difference scheme) is presented. In addition, the effects of temperature and water content changes obtained from the solution of proposed the model as well as the model where the thermal diffusion of mass was included were compared.

    This paper deals with a finite difference method for a wide class of weakly coupled nonlinear second-order partial differential systems with initial condition and weakly coupled nonlinear implicit boundary conditions. One part of each system is of the parabolic type (degenerated parabolic equations) and the other of the elliptic type (equations with a parameter) in a cube in R1+n. A suitable finite difference scheme is constructed. It is proved that the scheme has a unique solution, and the numerical method is consistent, convergent and stable. The error estimate is given. Moreover, by the method, the differential problem has at most one classical solution. The proof is based on the Banach fixed-point theorem, the maximum principle for difference functional systems of the parabolic type and some new difference inequalities. It is a new technique of studying the mixed-type systems. Examples of physical applications and numerical experiments are presented.

    Opis:
    The article describes of the optical system of the proposed smoke detector construction, in which lightening of a smoke chamber is made by a focused laser beam having, according to the periodic law, a modulated spatial distribution of radiation intensity in the focal spot. This structure of the light field in the smoke flow allows to generate the algorithm of signals selection produced by the smoke particles with characteristic sizes and velocities. The result is increased stability of the smoke detector under the influence of external noise such as dust, vapor with different sizes of smoke particles and/or velocities. There are carried out model experiments on registration of time signals that are generated by particles of different sizes, crossing the plane of the beam focusing. The spectral characteristics of the recorded signals are researched. There are identificated possible algorithms for selection of signals generated by micro formations with specified medium size and speed of movement.

    W artykule przedstawiono wyniki analizy wpływu niejednorodności materiałowej na zachowanie prostopadłościennych próbek betonowych w warunkach obciążeń dynamicznych. Niejednorodność zadawano losowo w odniesieniu do podstawowych parametrów mechanicznych: gęstości masowej i modułu odkształcalności betonu. Mają one wpływ na prędkości falowe w betonie reagującym liniowo-sprężyście. Z badań laboratoryjnych wykonywanych metodą ultradźwiękową wynika, że przedział wartości szacujących prędkości fal podłużnych w betonie wynosi (3,0 ÷ 5,0) [km/s]. Losowe wartości parametrów mechanicznych ustalano jako wzajemnie skorelowane tak, aby zachować ten przedział. Ocenę niejednorodności wyrażono w kategoriach wytrzymałości betonu, wykorzystując zależność korelacyjną pomiędzy prędkością falową a uśrednioną wytrzymałością lokalną betonu. Wyniki analizy numerycznej falowej reakcji prostopadłościennej próbki betonowej uzyskano przy dyskretyzacji różnicowej, która przekształciła próbkę w trzywymiarowy model typu quasi-mezostruktura. Wykazano, że nadmierna niejednorodność betonu ujawniała się inicjacją procesów niestabilnej deformacji.
    Results of the dynamic loading analysis of the heterogeneous concrete rectangular samples are presented in the article. This heterogeneity is set randomly with respect to the basic mechanical parameters: the mass density and the modules of concrete deformation. These both parameters define the elastic wave velocities. According to experimental researches by the ultrasounds method, the values of the longitudinal wave velocity is between (3,0 ÷ 5,0) [km/s]. By the draw of the randomly mechanical parameters this interval was kept. The rating of the heterogeneity is expressed in terms of concrete strength using a dependence correlation between the phase velocity and an average local strength of concrete. The results of numerical analysis of wave reaction of rectangular concrete samples were obtained by the differential discretization, which evolved the sample into a three-dimensional model of the type of a discreet structural quasi-mesosystem. It is shown that the excessive heterogeneity revealed the initiation of unstable deformation processes.

    Większość pakietów symulacyjnych udostępnia modele linii długich zawierające wyłącznie dwa zaciski wejściowe oraz dwa zaciski wyjściowe. Modele te umożliwiają badanie stanów nieustalonych inicjowanych wystąpieniem zakłócenia na krańcach linii. Z tego powodu nie ma możliwości badania zaburzeń pojawiających się w dowolnym punkcie sieci elektrycznej. W artykule szczegółowo opisano modele matematyczne linii długiej, ich implementację w środowisku Matlab oraz przedstawiono przykładowe wyniki symulacji komputerowych.
    Most simulation packages provide long line models containing only two input terminals and two output terminals. These models allow testing transient states initiated by the occurrence of interference at the ends of the line. For this reason, it is not possible to study disorders occurring at any point of the electrical network. The article describes in detail the mathematical models of the long line, their implementation in the Matlab environment and exemplary results of computer simulations.

    In the present paper, trigonometric B-spline DQM is applied to get the approximated solution of coupled 2D non-linear Burgers’ equation. This technique, named modified cubic trigonometric B-spline DQM, has been used to obtain accurate and effective numerical approximations of the above-mentioned partial differential equation. For checking the compatibility of results, different types of test examples are discussed. A comparison is done between 2L and L∞ error norms with the previous, present results and with the exact solution. The resultant set of ODEs has been solved by employing the SSP RK 43 method. It is observed that the obtained results are improved compared to the previous numerical results in the literature.

    The main goal of this paper is to investigate the numerical solution of the fractional order pseudo telegraph integro-differential equation. We establish the first order finite difference scheme. Then for the stability analysis of the constructed difference scheme, we give theoretical statements and prove them. We also support our theoretical statements by performing numerical experiments for some fractions of order α.

    This paper investigates the possibilities for developing a pole-changing winding with a pole ratio of 3:4 with improved electromagnetic properties. Such a winding can be used in two-speed induction motors for turbo mechanisms. The scheme of the new winding was obtained by using a discretely-specified spatial function method developed at the Tashkent State Technical University. A comparison of the parameters obtained for a similar winding received by the pole amplitude modulation method has been presented. Design of a new motor with a new winding is developed based on the standard induction motor. The paper presents results of laboratory tests, too.
