    After the publication of Jaques Derrida’s book, L’animal que donc je suis, anti-speciesism has been looking for a theoretical foundation for its ethical content. In my opinion, the defect of all these philosophical perspectives is that they still reduce animals to objects of human philosophy. Here, I develop a new framework in which animals are considered as subjects of their own philosophy. In analogy to the concept of ethnophilosophy, the concept of speciophilosophy is here introduced (§ 1, §3). The different ways of thinking between humans and other animals are outlined, by explaining the difference between verbal reasoning and thinking through images (§ 2). Human philosophies are shown to be anthropocentric ideologies, related to carnivorism (§4, § 8). Subsequently, animal speciophilosophies are discussed (§6) and a dialogical symphilosophein (§ 5) among all living beings is proposed to be the extension of the so-called philosophy of dialogue. Finally, it is shown how this perspective was present in the original Christian ethics (§7, §9, § 10).

    Dla protagonisty współczesnej dialogiki, Martina Bubera, życie duchowe stanowi nie tyle ontyczny wyróżnik istnienia człowieka, ile szansę, przed którą człowiek stoi i którą powinien wykorzystać z uwagi na swoją dialogiczną genezę, która zarazem określa specyficzny horyzont jego egzystowania. Egzystowania niepodobna zredukować do istnienia obiektu pośród innych obiektów, gdyż może ono i powinno wyrażać się obecnością – byciem osoby wobec innych osób, byciem Ja wobec Ty. Podstawowa różnica między „życiem duchowym” a „życiem w duchu” polega na tym, że pierwsze, w odróżnieniu od drugiego, nie zawsze bywa dialogiczne oraz na tym, że nie zawsze uzyskuje ono wymiar etyczny i niejednokrotnie spełnia się w samym tylko wymiarze estetycznym. Tymczasem życie w duchu wskazuje na transcendentny status i proweniencję ducha, który nie może być postrzegany w kategoriach zjawiska będącego rezultatem kulturowego progresu – jako sublimacja lub jako projekcja tego, co immanentnie ludzkie.
    For Martin Buber, the protagonist of the modern philosophy of dialogue, spiritual life is not an ontic distinction of human existence, but an opportunity that man has and should use because of his dialogical genesis, which determines the particular horizon of his being. Existing cannot be reduced merely to the existence of a given object among others, since it may and ought to be expressed via presence – being a person to other people, being ‘I’ to ‘You’. The fundamental difference between ‘spiritual life’ and ‘living in the spirit’ lies in the fact that the former, as opposed to the latter, does not always happen to be dialogical, that it does not always have an ethical dimension, and often fulfils itself in an aesthetic dimension only. On the other hand, living in the spirit indicates a transcendental status and the provenance of the spirit, which cannot be perceived as the result of cultural progress – it is regarded as the sublimation or projection of what is immanently human.

    Opis:
    This paper describes theoretical foundations and methodology of life design dialogues. They are meant to help people conceive of, construct and direct their active lives. Contrary to employability guidance interventions, these dialogues do not operate on the assumption that people always respond to the active life issue by making their life meaningful through fitting in present work organizations and exchange (without excluding such an answer). These dialogues were elaborated by a synthesis of knowledge in humanities and social sciences relating to the process and factors involved in the construction of self. This synthesis describes subjective identity as a dynamic system of subjective identity forms. It also assumes that a person plays a role in this system’s dynamics through two forms of reflexivity: dual and trine. It is mainly the latter that is mobilized during the life design dialogue, which consists in face-to‑-face meeting including four moments: (1) constructing a working alliance, (2) making an inventory of activities, experiences, roles etc., that the individual considers to be playing an important role in their life, (3) personal narratives relating to „her/himself during all of her/his different major experiences” that allow them to sketch visions of the future that make their existence meaningful and (4) defining further actions, kinds of behaviour to develop and conclusion of the dialogue.
    W artykule opisano podstawy teoretyczne i metodykę prowadzenia dialogów w Poradnictwie konstruowania życia / Life Design. Zostały one opracowane, aby pomóc ludziom w projektowaniu, budowaniu i kierowaniu swoim aktywnym życiem. W odróżnieniu od koncepcji doradztwa w zakresie zatrudnienia, w założeniach poradnictwa opartego na dialogu odchodzi się od poglądu, że podejmując kwestię aktywnego życia, każdy nadaje sens swemu istnieniu jedynie ze względu na powiązania z istniejącymi organizacjami pracy i wymiany (bez możliwości wykluczenia takiej odpowiedzi). Dialogi zostały skonstruowane poprzez syntezę wiedzy z zakresu nauk humanistycznych i społecznych związanych z procesami i czynnikami sprzyjającymi samokonstrukcji. Zgodnie z tą wiedzą subiektywna tożsamość rozumiana jest jako dynamiczny system subiektywnych form tożsamości. Ponadto zakłada się, że w rozwoju dynamiki tego systemu każdej osoby ważną rolę odgrywają dwie formy refleksywności: dualna (dwustronna) i trójstronna (triadyczna). Ta ostatnia jest uruchamiana w sposób szczególny podczas doradczego dialogu konstruowania życia. Wyróżnić w nim można cztery etapy spotkania „twarzą w twarz”: (1) budowanie relacji/zawieranie przymierza pracy, (2) ogarnięcie i podsumowanie przez radzącego się tych pól aktywności, doświadczeń, ról itp., które uważa, za odgrywające ważną rolę w jego życiu, (3) narracje radzącego się odnoszące się do „siebie w każdym z jego różnych głównych doświadczeń”, nadających sens jego istnieniu i pozwalające mu na szkicowanie perspektyw na przyszłość oraz (4) określenie działań, które należy podjąć, wskazanie kierunków rozwoju i zakończenie dialogu.

    The paper presents the Humanistic Model of Assisting the Development. Understanding the dynamic and changing relationship between the human and the world, as perceived from the time perspective by the aided person, constitutes the basis of the aided development. In this process the feedback is focused on the concept of life – the system of opinions and beliefs concerning life – which includes the following subsystems: knowledge about life, values – directions of the life path, life goals, goal realization schemes, attitude to the self, attitude to the others, moral control of actions, heuristics of the global assessment of life and time perspective. The concept of life is created as a result of understanding and experiencing the relationality of the world available thanks to consciousness. In order to make actions and their effects (events) available to consciousness, one has to ascribe meaning to them. Obtaining access to the ‘world’ of meanings of a person in a problematic situation is a key element in understanding such people, and one of the cognitive methods is dialogue with the aided person, which helps those who want to understand. The aim is to change the concept of life in order to solve the problem. This method can be supplemented with selected techniques focused on the development of skill and ability if the aided person thinks that their effects will help to fulfi ll the concept of life.

    Dialog życia jest podstawową formą dialogu, który Kościół katolicki prowadzi z innymi religiami. Taką formę ewangelizacji prowadziłam jako Franciszkanka Misjonarka Maryi (FMM) w Afryce Północnej. Dialog życia z wyznawcami islamu polegał na życzliwym obcowaniu z nimi w dzielnicy, w której mieszkałam i pracowałam. Opierał się przede wszystkim na naturalnej ludzkiej solidarności i codziennych kontaktach w duchu tolerancji oraz wysiłku zrozumienia naszych odrębności. Pracowałam w Centrum dla Sparaliżowanych Dzieci w Trypolisie i byłam tam jedyną Europejką i chrześcijanką. Zarabiałam tyle, co inni Libijczycy. Mieszkałam w jednej z ich dzielnic, w domu połączonym trzema ścianami i tarasem z innymi domami. Pracując z wyznawcami islamu miałam wolne od pracy piątki i wszystkie muzułmańskie święta. Reprezentowałam religijną i narodową mniejszość, a moja rola sprowadzała się do służby. Zawód pielęgniarki bardzo mi ją ułatwiał. W pracy czułam się jak w wielkiej, solidarnej rodzinie. Nie czułam się tam ani wyobcowana, ani zagrożona, wręcz przeciwnie - odnalazłam grono oddanych przyjaciół.
    Dialogue of life is a basic form of dialogue that the Catholic Church conducts with other religions. This form of evangelization I practised as a Franciscan Missionary of Mary (FMM) in North Africa. Dialogue of life with Muslims was based on the benevolent dealing with them in a neighbourhood in which I lived and worked. It was based primarily on the natural human solidarity and daily contacts in a spirit of tolerance and effort to understand our differences. I worked at the Centre for Paralyzed Children in Tripoli, and have been the only European and Christian. I earned as much as other Libyans. I lived in one of their neighbourhoods, in a house joined with other ones by three walls and a terrace. Working with the followers of Islam I had Fridays and all Muslim holidays free. I represented the religious and national minority, and my role was confined to the service. Occupation of a nurse really facilitated it. At work, I felt a great family solidarity. I did not feel there neither alienated nor threatened, on the contrary - I found the circle of devoted friends.

    Opis:
    The very family is a home church, but it should belong to a larger group in case it needs multi-dimensional aid. The present article presents the founding ideas, unique character and the current condition of family associations in Poland. Such groups are initiated by the families themselves or members of the hierarchy. Yet, they are always a gift of the Holy Spirit, who thus grants them support and the charisma of renewal. Family experts stress that under the influence of family associations positive changes on many planes are taking place, both in the family and in its relationship with the world. It is hard to estimate the number of family associations in Poland as some of them are of informal character, while others are not focused on the family but they have many family elements in their formation programme. Roughly speaking, there are about 130 associations of families or pro-family groups in Poland. The establishment and care of family associations is a significant task of family pastoral care in Poland.

    Opis:
    Elder people have knowledge and experience – they can share them with other people. Seniors can teach young people different things. Their stories can indicate what is important in life and what should be avoided. The article presents the results of qualitative research (interview) on the lessons learned from the life experiences of the older people. The analysis of own research is preceded by the theoretical introduction about wisdom of life. Respondents highlighted mostly the importance of family, health, self-care and relationships with other people (friendship, honesty and respect towards others). Life showed them how important are: faith in God, enjoying every moment, patience in pursuing a goal, independently deciding about own life, realising your dreams, and work. Life experiences showed them how to deal with problems and that a person learns all life. They learned rules such as: money does not bring happiness, you cannot trust everyone, live the present and the good comes back. The elderly said that a person should make efforts to be happy.
    Osoby starsze posiadają dużą wiedzę i doświadczenie – mogą się nimi dzielić z innymi. Można stwierdzić, że życie nauczyło ich różnych rzeczy, które mogą przekazywać młodszym. Ich opowieści wskazują, co w życiu jest ważne i czego należy unikać. W artykule ukazano wyniki jakościowych badań (uzyskanych za pomocą wywiadu) na temat nauk płynących z doświadczeń życiowych osób starszych. Analizę badań własnych poprzedza teoretyczne wprowadzenie, odnoszące się do mądrości życiowej. Badani szczególnie wskazywali na wartość rodziny, zdrowia, a także dbałości o siebie samego oraz relacji z innymi ludźmi (przyjaźni, uczciwości i szacunku wobec innych). Życie nauczyło ich, jak ważne są wiara w Boga, docenianie każdej chwili, cierpliwość w dążeniu do celu, samodzielne decydowanie o własnym losie, spełnianie marzeń i praca. Doświadczenia życiowe pokazały im, jak radzić sobie z problemami oraz że człowiek uczy się przez całe życie. Nauczyli się takich zasad, jak: pieniądze szczęścia nie dają, nie można wszystkim ufać, należy żyć teraźniejszością i dobro powraca. Osoby starsze mówiły, że trzeba starać się być szczęśliwym.

    Dialog, będąc postacią relacji międzyludzkich, zajmuje szczególne miejsce w życiu ludzkim, społecznym, funkcjonowaniu człowieka, różnych zbiorowości ludzkich, wspólnot, instytucji. Strukturę dialogu konstytuują takie komponenty, jak: rozmowa, komunikacja międzyludzka; wzajemne otwarcie się podmiotów; rozumienie, zrozumienie rozmówcy; zbliżenie społeczno-emocjonalne; wzajemne wspomaganie się podmiotów. W tekście wyeksponowano znaczenie dialogu w procesie współpracy rodziców i nauczycieli oraz budowania poczucia bez- pieczeństwa w środowisku życia. Relacjom tych zmiennych (dialog – współpraca, dialog – poczucie bezpieczeństwa) nadaje się tutaj charakter układu synergetycznego.
    The dialogue as the basic form of interpersonal relations is of fundamental significance in the life of the individual and the complexity of society, is an indispensable necessity for the proper functioning of the single human being, formal and informal groups, societies and institutions. The components constituting the structure of a dialogue can be classified as follows: a)conversation, inter-personal communication; b) the mutual opening-up of the dialogue-partners; c) mutual understanding of the interlocutors; d) social and emotional rapprochement; e) mutual assistance of the conversation-partners. This paper discusses the role of the dialogue in the cooperation process parents-teachers and its importance in the development of the sense of security within the settings of life. It is assumed that the relations between these variables (dialogue- cooperation; dialogue- sense of security) underlie the same rules as components of a self-organizing (synergetic) system.
