Opis:
In this comprehensive study, the concept and structural diagram of the system for diagnostics of induction electric motors of vehicles with the development of algorithms for the operation of modular units for monitoring the state of the main structural elements are proposed. During the development of the diagnostic system, the peculiarities of the construction of diagnostic systems of rotating electric machines were investigated in the real conditions of their operation, and modern methods of current and vibration diagnostics were implemented. The work algorithms of each module are presented in the functional diagram of the general diagnostic system of and cover important defects of induction motors. The diagnostic system combines methods that use different diagnostic principles and criteria and are adapted for use in an embedded diagnostic system. The developed functional diagram of the diagnostic system can be used for practical implementation in physical form. The use of the proposed diagnostic system will make it possible to obtain continuous information about the state of both electrical and mechanical components of the induction motor when operating under load with a poor-quality power system in real operating conditions.

W artykule przedstawiono problematykę diagnostyki urządzeń zasilających pojazdy samochodowe. Ważnym elementem w procesie diagnozowania obiektów technicznych w przypadku wystąpienia stanów niezdatności jest lokalizacja uszkodzeń. Pomocą w zidentyfikowaniu elementu implikującego stan niezdatności w obiekcie technicznym jest opracowanie schematu lokalizowania uszkodzeń (programu) postępowania specjalisty w tym procesie. W artykule zaprezentowano przykład opracowania programu lokalizacji uszkodzeń, przy wykorzystaniu informacji z badań z wykorzystaniem typowych przyrządów pomiarowych w postaci multimetra i oscyloskopu.
In the article the problem of power supply diagnostic motor vehicles. An important element in the process of diagnosing technical facilities in the event of unavailability of states is the location of damage. Help to identify the caller in the state of unfitness object is to develop a technical fault locating scheme (programme) conduct a specialist in this process. The article presents a program such as fault location, using information from studies using conventional measuring instruments in a multimeter and an oscilloscope.

Opis:
In earlier designs, the compression-ignition engine units were controlled by means of mechanical elements. They were levers, rods, springs, pawls, cams and others. The quality of such control did not ensure the required repeatability of control parameters in the fuel injection and combustion process. After the introduction of the standards limiting engine emissions of the limited exhaust components, the aforementioned engine control systems were not able to meet the requirements. The mechanical regulation of mechanical systems has been replaced by electronic control systems. It was the development of computer techniques and software that enabled design solutions of control systems for injection and combustion process parameters in engines with sufficient accuracy and repeatability of test results. The modern EDC (Electronic Diesel Control) control system, due to the computing power of microprocessors increased in recent years, enables meeting high requirements of modern Common Rail injection systems. The article presents issues in the area of four thematic levels: the design and modernization of the engine, its operation, diagnostic problems in order to determine reasons of unit failures and bench-top methods for assessing the effectiveness of unit repairs as well as issues concerning alternative fuels.

The article deals with the problem of designing diagnostic systems. During this process it is possible to use sets of requirements which are very commonly used in the software area. The requirements may influence both on the set of possible solutions of diagnostic system as also on the set of criteria which will be used for evaluation of these solutions. Selecting an optimal solution is not an easy task, especially for given the nature of the diagnostic field. But this process can be improved by using expert system. Knowledge base of this system, which contains possible solutions of designed system can be recorded in the form of multimodal statement networks. During the inference process, it is possible to isolate some subset of preferred solutions. This process should be carry out based on available information about technical object, operational conditions and imposed project limitations. The received subset of solutions should be the basis for further analysis, which leads to get the final solution of a diagnostic system.
Artykuł opisuje problematykę projektowania systemów diagnostycznych. Zwrócono uwagę, że podczas przeprowadzania takiego procesu możliwe jest wykorzystanie zbiorów wymagań powszechnie stosowanych w obszarze inżynierii oprogramowania. Wymagania mogą mieć wpływ zarówno na postać definiowanego zbioru możliwych rozwiązań projektowanego systemu, jak również na zbiór kryteriów, względem których rozwiązania te będą oceniane. Proces wyboru rozwiązania optymalnego z powodu specyfiki dziedziny jaką jest diagnostyka techniczna nie jest zadaniem łatwym. Może być on usprawniony poprzez wykorzystanie systemu doradczego. Baza wiedzy tego systemu zawierająca możliwe rozwiązania projektowanego systemu diagnostycznego może być zapisana pod postacią wielomodalnych sieci stwierdzeń. W wynik procesu wnioskowania na podstawie dostępnych informacji o obiekcie technicznym, warunkach jego pracy oraz narzuconych ograniczeniach projektowych wyodrębniany jest pewien podzbiór rozwiązań preferowanych. Są one podstawą dalszej analizy, w wyniku której opracowywany jest ostateczny projekt systemu diagnostycznego.

Artykuł dotyczy problematyki modelowania procesów związanych z działaniem urządzeń pokładowych statku powietrznego. Przedstawiono w nim wyniki prac nad określeniem metody opisu działania przyrządów samolotu PZL M-28 na potrzeby symulatora diagnostycznego. Do opisu działania przyrządów zaproponowano zastosowanie odpowiednio zdefiniowanego języka. Przedstawiono jego składnię i semantykę oraz przykład jego zastosowania do opisu działania wybranych przyrządów. Ponadto przedstawiono sposób wykorzystania tak sformalizowanych opisów w symulatorze diagnostycznym.
This article applies to process modeling problems associated with the operation of deck airship instruments. It presents the results of work on defining methods for the description of the instruments action of PZL M-28 airship for diagnostic simulator. For the description of the instruments action it proposes to use language appropriately defined. It presents the syntax and semantics, and example of its use to describe the action of selected instruments. In addition, it demonstrates how to use such a formal diagnostic description in the simulator.

Zrozumienie zachowania w fazie uszkodzenia, specjalne zależności pomiędzy potencjalnym uszkodzeniem, błędami funkcjonalnymi i parametrami diagnostycznymi, są najważniejszymi zadaniami. W następnym kroku projektant powinien zbadać czynności eksploatacyjne, które powinny być zastosowanie jako kryteria projektowe. Modele i sposób postępowania zostały przedstawione w artykule jako zwarty przegląd literatury i wyniki badań laboratoryjnych.
Given challenging competition of today service providers are required to be more proactive in satisfying the environmental conditions and customer needs. Proactive maintenance should start at the design stage with establishing the functions, functional failures and failure modes. The understanding the failure behavior, especially the relationship between potential failures, functional failures and diagnostic parameters is the most important task. In the next step the designer have to explore the maintenance activities as they have to apply to the design criteria. The models and frameworks have been presented in the paper also a comprehensive review of literature and some results of laboratory investigations.

It is offered to consider the index of element importance for multi-element soft-hardware objects with complex structure physical, information links. W artykule przedstawiono analizę możliwości wykorzystania wskaźnika oceny wieloelementowych obiektów oprogramowania i sprzętu o złożonej strukturze komunikacji fizycznej i informacyjnej. Ocena elementów odbywa się przy planowaniu wykonania testów diagnostycznych. Podstawa metodologiczna oparta jest na wykorzystaniu obiektów formalnych "sieć tego samego typu oprogramowania i sprzętu", "środowisko operacyjne procesów obliczeniowych", modelu komunikacji międzyprocesowej.

The paper proposes an original, comprehensive, and methodically consistent graph theory-based approach to the description of the diagnosed process and the diagnosing system. The main baseline of the presented approach is in the dichotomous approach to diagnosing. It involves a separate description of both the process and the diagnostic system. This approach reflects the practice of designing implementable diagnostic systems. Thus, it can be seen as a proposal of a new, alternative, and, at the same time, flexible design procedure with great potential for applications. The primary motivation behind it was an attempt to circumvent the numerous limitations of well-known and well-established diagnosis approaches proposed by the communities working on fault detection and isolation (FDI) and artificial intelligence theories for diagnosis (DX). Accordingly, the paper identifies and provides an extensive discussion and a critical analysis of the existing limitations. Numerous examples and references to practical applications of the approach are indicated.

The paper presents semi-Markov models of technical state transitions for diesel engines, useful for determination of their reliability, as a result of the conducted statistical empirical studies. Interpretation of technical states provided for this sort of engines refers to ship main engines, i.e. engines employed in propulsion systems of sea-going ships. The considerations recognize diesel engine as a diagnosed system (SDN), of which state can be identified by a diagnosing system (SDG). Both of the systems: SDN and SDG compose a diagnostic system (SD). Examples of three-state semi-Markov models were applied to demonstrate that in case of use of proper diagnosing systems (SDG) for identification of technical states of such engines as SDN, by classification of the states to the relevant class of the reference states, it is possible to make use of a Markov model to determine reliability of the engines. For developing a Markov model of state transitions for the engines, there were applied functions of the risk of damage: λ12 that causes transition from state s1 to state s2, and λ13 that causes transition from state s1 to state s3, as well as intensity functions of recovery (restitution): λ21 that causes transition from state s2 to state s1, and λ31 that causes transition from state s3 to state s1.
