    Opis:
    This paper draws attention to various critical issues on new development corridors introduced in Turkey’s National Strategy on Regional Development for 2014-2023 (BGUS) in reference to the debate on functional and normative regions. The synthetic and normative treatment of development corridors in BGUS seems problematic in terms of the conceptualization of functional regions in a dynamic and realistic manner. The structural problems of development planning in Turkey since the 1950s signify the need for redefining development corridors as functional regions addressing the concerns of governance, functional linkages, core and hinterland interactions and the modifiable areal unit problem. What is suggested in this paper is that a holistic and multi-layer approach is more suitable for delineating the development corridors in Turkey rather than a threefold classification in BGUS (development, transportation and tourism corridors).
    W niniejszym artykule zwrócono uwagę na wiele istotnych kwestii dotyczących nowych korytarzy rozwojowych wprowadzonych w Tureckiej Narodowej Strategii Rozwoju Regionalnego na lata 2014-2023 (BGUS) w nawiązaniu do debaty na temat regionów funkcjonalnych i normatywnych. Syntetyczne i normatywne traktowanie korytarzy rozwojowych w BGUS wydaje się problematyczne pod względem konceptualizacji rozwoju regionów funkcjonalnych w sposób dynamiczny i realistyczny. Problemy strukturalne planowania rozwoju w Turcji od lat 50. XX wieku wskazują na potrzebę ponownego zdefiniowania korytarzy rozwoju jako regionów funkcjonalnych, odpowiadających na problemy związane z zarządzaniem, powiązaniami funkcjonalnymi, interakcjami rdzeni ośrodków miejskich z ich strefami zewnętrznymi, a także na problemy związane z modyfikowalną jednostką powierzchniową. W niniejszym artykule zaproponowano holistyczne, wielowarstwowe podejście do wyznaczenia korytarzy rozwoju w Turcji, bardziej właściwe niż trzykrotna klasyfikacja zaproponowana w BGUS (korytarze rozwoju, transportu i turystyki).

    Background: The paper concerns the concept of synchromodal logistics. It has great economic and environmental potential in terms of optimizing cargo transportation using various modes and modes of transport. In the face of unexpected disruptions in the global economic system due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the shift paradigm may result in a thorough verification of numerous solutions in the operational activities of transport, shipping, and logistics companies. The aim of the article is to evaluate the key indicators that influence the efficiency of synchromodality in logistics. Its implementation would allow the development of sustainable transport corridors from the perspective of the European-Asian supply chains reconfiguration. Methods: The paper uses questionnaire research and interviews conducted among experts, as well as selected methods of artificial intelligence, to determine the weights of the essential indicators that influence the effectiveness of synchromodality in logistics. Moreover, descriptive methods were used as supporting methods. Results: Basic indicators influencing the effectiveness of the synchromodal system were determined, which may favor the operationalization of the concept implementation process. These indicators can be one of the tools to assess the prospects for the development of synchromodal logistics. Conclusions: The implementation of the synchromodal logistics concept offers opportunities to strengthen cooperation in Euro-Asian supply chains to promote the development of sustainable transport corridors in the field of the trans-European transport network. The synchronization of the multibranch network of transport connections, preceded by the flow of information and preferences of the supply chain participants, allows the selection of the most advantageous transport connection proposals in real time, taking into account the criterion of their availability. The main expectations concerning the development of synchromodality relate to the improvement of the level of transport and logistics services, modal shifts, use of the capacity of transport nodes, and reduction of CO2 emissions.

It presents the current and projected problems of long-distance freight transport and the opportunities for the development of transport in Europe through the designation of new logistic corridors with innovative infrastructure, giving the opportunity to use alternative vehicles and multimodal transport. The further part of the article focuses on Poland's participation in the above solutions and on the impact of new logistic corridors on our country's economy.

    One of the fundamentals of development in each European country in the northeast is the proper transport infrastructure. Despite of the enormous increase in traffic on all sorts of roads, the modernization and building of new transport corridors lags. An essential step to change this situation will be the creation of a complex system of the development of communication connections and infrastructure in the region. This will be possible with a large share of the EU funds as well as the determination of individual countries of the north-east.

    Artykuł zawiera ocenę zaawansowania prac planistycznych na terenie województwa podlaskiego. W związku z tym określono stopień pokrycia gmin województwa podlaskiego miejscowymi planami zagospodarowania przestrzennego na koniec 2007 r. Oceny dokonano na podstawie obowiązujących i projektowanych planów. Przy ocenie bazowano na jednym istotnym mierniku wymaganego pokrycia z punktu widzenia intensywności użytkowania i liczby istniejących funkcji.
    The objective of this paper is to assess the advance of planning works in the area of the Podlaskie Voivodeship. The authors determined the degree to which districts were covered by local land development plans at the end of 2007. The assessment was done on the basis of plans which were carried out and those that still await implementation. In the assessment, we used one essential indicator of the demanded covering, which accounted for use intensity and the amount of existing functions.
