Opis:: The paper presents modern personal services and new trends observed in evolution of wireless services. The article covers voice and data transmission services offered in mobile networks as well as information services delivered to users over Internet/IP networks. With reference to voice services, selected GSM services based on IN services platform, e.g., the services of flexible scenarios are described. Moreover, the status of VoIP service provided over WLAN is explained. Concerning data transmission services, selected UMTS services are presented as well. Among information services, presentation of wide scope of services offered to mobile users, e.g., messaging, location-based information, transferring text information, unified communications as well as Internet services, e.g., e-commerce, e-shopping, telebanking and micropayments is done. For both, voice and data transmission services, personal services are presented exclusively. Generally, the most attractive services with personal features are selected and described in this paper.

Opis:: Advanced new methods of data transmission used in River Information Services are described. Implementation of GMDSS subsystems and analyses of the feasibility of applying satellite-based telecommunications systems to integrated navigational data transmission at the RIS-PL is discussed. This article presents a model of the architecture and deployment of radio communication systems in inland waterway and sea-river navigation. The processing of navigational data, transmitted during electronic ship reporting and used in inland shipping, is described. The new BICS standard for the processing and transmission of navigational data in inland navigation is presented. The author evaluates the advantages of the new radio communications technology for the safety of inland waterway vessel traffic.

Opis:: Implementation of new services in the network requires appropriate methods and tools for checking correctness of interworking between terminals and exchanges. In this article the methodology and test procedures prepared for testing terminals handling FSK protocol transmitted over the local loop for display and related services was described. Methodology presented here is based on ETSI standards. Test procedures were developed for services offered in Polish network. Tests cover all levels of FSK protocol. For two lower layers, separate procedures for ^on-hook" and "off-hook" loop states were prepared. The procedure for "on-hook" state contains tests related to data transmission "associated" and "not associated with ringing". These procedures cover normal cases with parameter values and sequence elements complying with standards and exceptional procedures with the extreme values of the parameters and with modified elements of the sequences.

Opis:: SummaryThis article considers the legality and regime of telecommunication and data transmission in medicine. It is divided into five sections. The first is an introduction which attempts to define the concept of telemedicine and show the practical significance of this phenomenon. The second is devoted to relevant amendments to Polish law adopted in 2015. The third section presents the principles determining the compatibility of the practice of telemedicine with Polish law. The fourth section lists the provisions of EU law most relevant for a person who intends to provide telemedicine services in a Member State other than the Member State in which his business is registered. The last part is a summary and evaluation of the current legal status.
StreszczenieArtykuł poświęcony jest problemowi legalności oraz reżimu wykorzystywania w medycynie środków porozumiewania się i przesyłu danych na odległość. Praca podzielona została na pięć punktów. Pierwszy punkt zawiera uwagi wprowadzające. Podjęto w nim próbę zdefiniowania pojęcia telemedycyny oraz przedstawiono praktyczną doniosłość tego zjawiska. Drugi punkt poświęcony został zmianom polskiego prawa dokonanym w 2015 r., relewantnym dla przedmiotowej materii. W trzecim punkcie przedstawiono zasady zgodnego z prawem stosowania telemedycyny w prawie polskim. W czwartym punkcie wskazano przepisy prawa Unii Europejskiej najważniejsze dla podmiotu zamierzającego świadczyć usługi telemedyczne w innym państwie członkowskim niż państwo jego przedsiębiorstwa. W ostatnim punkcie autor dokonuje podsumowania i oceny obecnego stanu prawnego w kontekście wybranej materii.
