Opis:
Strong expansion of IT tools in area of management and control of systems and devices of road transport is connected inseparably with a need of assurance of proper level of credibility and data safety. In paper one related to issues connected with threatens and ways of their reduction in a context of selected law regulation and analysis obtained during studies on modern motion sensor applied in system of digital tachograph in vehicles from delivery trucks and buses group. Departures from assumed scheme of information flow in vehicle can result from random interfering environmental factors as well as , action taken deliberately for specific purpose, as change of object's operation (e.g. tuning of power transmission system), or illicit modification of data subjected to revision by institutions obligated to control of vehicle. Presented in the paper example of threads and methods of information protection are part of the whole system of defined threats and securities necessary to obtain applied certificates granted by selected institutions such as BSI (Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik) and development of so called PPprotection profile. In summary there are also pointed another ways to enhance a security level of described system such as e.g. redundancy in acquiring and transmission of data.

W części końcowej omówiono zagadnienie zarządzania ryzykiem, będące częścią składową kompleksowego podejścia do zarządzania bezpieczeństwem informacji.
This article discusses the issues of information safety and quality, based on ISO standards for management systems. In its contents attributes of data safety were defined and then the Information Safety Management System based on the PDCA model was described. In the following part of the paper the problem of data quality evaluation was analyzed, classification of data quality evaluation methods was presented and then the diagram of quality evaluation process was shown. Finally the issue of risk management, being a part of comprehensive approach to information safety management was discussed.

Podkreśla również konieczność odpowiedniej edukacji medialnej w tym zakresie.
The article presents the problem of the need of protection of the privacy of young people on the Internet, particularly with regard to the use of social media. The virtual life of „digital natives” often lacks adequate reflection on the possible effects of the private sphere of their lives being exposed too hastily. The author draws attention to the key threats and challenges of safety on the Web, which can be met by the young Internet user. The need for appropriate media education in this field is also emphasized.

Autor poddaje analizie potrzebę kompleksowego uregulowania w polskim systemie prawnym zagadnień ochrony i bezpieczeństwa danych pomiarowych pozyskiwanych za pomocą inteligentnych liczników. Analizuje on w tym zakresie przepisy i wytyczne unijne oraz obowiązujące przepisy polskie, w tym ostatnią nowelizację aktualnego Prawa energetycznego1, a także projekt nowego Prawa energetycznego. W konsekwencji wskazuje na potrzebę kompleksowej regulacji ochrony i bezpieczeństwa danych pomiarowych w polskich przepisach, realizującej zalecenia unijne w tym zakresie.
The paper analyses whether there is a need for the creation of a comprehensive legal framework for the protection and safety of smart meter data in Poland. Assessed in this context are EU legislation and non-binding recommendations as well as existing Polish legal provisions, recent amendments to the Energy Law Act and the new Energy Law Act. A need is indicated in conclusion for the introduction of a comprehensive legal framework for the protection and safety of smart meter data in Polish law, which would need to be in line with relevant EU recommendations.

Objectives: Cleaning products are considered less hazardous than those used in other sectors. Suppliers and distributors are less conscientious when it comes to informing users on health risks. The aim of the study was to elaborate on the usefulness and clarity of information in the safety data sheets (SDS) for cleaning products, and considering if the use of these SDSs can be seen as a risk factor towards occupational exposure to hazardous chemicals in the sector. Material and Methods: Safety data sheets were selected based on the risk level of the product assigned in an industrial sector scheme. 320 SDSs for cleaning products were reviewed. Constituent components found in the products over a given threshold were listed and available information thereof used to assess the perceived non-hazard consideration of the chemicals. Results: The contents of the SDSs was generic and mostly incomplete. Safety measures and health information lacked sufficient specificity despite varying compositions and concentrations of components. There is generally incompatibility between mentioned sections on the suggested non-hazardous nature of the products and health effects. Not all substances used in these products have harmonized classifications, which makes them open to various classification of the products and the suggested safety measures. This results in different companies classifying similar products differently. Risk management measures and suggested personal protective equipment (PPEs) are given haphazardly. Physical properties relevant to risk assessment are not included. Conclusions: The safety data sheets are ambiguous, and they lack relevant and important information. Inadequate information and risk assessment concerning the products can lead to workers being exposed to hazardous chemicals. Underestimation of the hazard contribution of the components of the products and the insufficient, non-objective mention of appropriate control and protective measures are the major contributing elements. There is a need to test the products in order to establish health effects and product specific safety measures.

In the contemporary enterprise all business processes can be carried out mainly thanks to company's information resources. Data loss in the case of disaster or system malfunction often results in disappearing the company from the market. In the paper possible causes of such scenario and methods how to prevent data loss and recover the system after disaster are presented.

Cytostatics not only induce significant side-effects in patients treated oncologically but also pose a threat to the health of occupationally exposed healthcare workers: pharmacists, physicians, nurses and other personnel. Since the 1970s numerous reports from various countries have documented the contamination of working areas with cytostatics and the presence of drugs/metabolites in the urine or blood of healthcare employees, which directly indicates the occurrence of occupational exposure to these drugs. In Poland the significant scale of occupational exposure to cytostatics is also confirmed by the data collected in the central register of occupational carcinogens/mutagens kept by the Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine. The assessment of occupational exposure to cytostatics and health risks constitutes employers’ obligation. Unfortunately, the assessment of occupational risk resulting from exposure to cytostatics raises a number of concerns. Provisions governing the problem of workers’ health protection are not unequivocal because they derive from a variety of law areas, especially in a matter of hazard classification and safety data sheets for cytostatics. Moreover, no legally binding occupational exposure limits have been set for cytostatics or their active compounds, and analytical methods for these substances airborne and biological concentrations are lacking. Consequently, the correct assessment of occupational exposure to cytostatics, the evaluation of health hazards and the development of the proper preventive strategy appear difficult. The authors of this article described and discussed the amendments to the European provisions concerning chemicals in the light of employers’ obligations in the field of employees’ heath protection against the consequences of exposure to cytostatics.
