Opis:
Purpose: Drawing on self-determination theory (SDT), this article aims to examine the impact of customers’ intrinsic and extrinsic religiosity on purchase intentions for luxury brands. Moreover, this study delves into the moderating effect of customer brand loyalty in these relationships. Methodology: To this end, we tested our hypotheses with a student sample (N = 169) from Pakistan. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), structural equation modeling (SEM), and moderation analysis techniques were used to analyze the data using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0. Findings: The results of data analysis indicated that a customer’s purchase intention for luxury brands is significantly influenced by extrinsic religiosity, while intrinsic religiosity has trivial influence in boosting purchase intention for a luxury brand. Our results for moderation analysis further show that customer purchase intention for a luxury brand is reinforced by intrinsic religiosity when customer brand loyalty is high but not when customer brand loyalty is low, whereas purchase intention for a luxury brand is fortified more by extrinsic religiosity when customer brand loyalty is low than when customer brand loyalty is high. Research Limitations: As with any set of cross-sectional studies, our research is not without limitations. For instance, the sample size in the current study is purposefully small. This limits the generalizability of findings across a wider population. Implications/originality/value: This study has provided a framework to explain how customers’ intrinsic and extrinsic religiosity affected the purchase intentions of luxury brands in the emerging market.

Opis:
The purpose of this study is to identify the social, epistemic and conditional values associated with automobiles and to examine their impact on customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. A sample size of 198 respondents was chosen from various locations near Jeddah in Saudi Arabia using convenient sampling techniques. A multi-factor customer perceived value questionnaire with a Likert scale from 1 to 5 was used to collect the data to determine the social, epistemic and conditional perceived values associated with automobiles and their impact on customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. AMOS was used to generate the result and to analyse the collected data. 5 items were reduced from the original construct to meet the standard loading during the confirmatory factor analysis. Then structural modelling was conducted on a full model and satisfaction as a mediator model. The findings were that epistemic value and conditional value have a positive and signifi cant impact on satisfaction. Also epistemic value and satisfaction have a positive and signifi cant impact on loyalty. However, social value has a negative impact on satisfaction and loyalty in the full model and the mediator model as well. Therefore, epistemic value and conditional value are important dimensions or values associated with automobile brands in Saudi Arabia and they affect customer satisfactions and loyalty.

Opis:
Purpose: The purpose of this paper was to identify the relation between passenger car brand image and consumer loyalty. Design/methodology/approach: A quantitative approach was used, and a questionnaire-based research was carried out. As a method of elaborating the results, cluster analysis was selected. Findings: It was discovered that the consumers from 2 clusters are significantly different both in terms of perception of car brand image and loyalty. In this way the existence of the assumed relation was proved. Practical implications: A practical implication of the study is claiming the role of brand image in shaping consumer loyalty in the passenger cars market. Originality/value: Authors’ contribution and novelty of the paper is the innovative application of the multidimensional exploratory techniques of cluster analysis in the area of research. In management practice, the paper can turn out useful to marketing managers in the automotive industry.

Opis:
Celem artykułu było opracowanie modelu związku wizerunku marki samochodu osobowego z lojalnością klientów. Przeprowadzono badanie ankietowe.
The aim of the paper was to propose a model of relationship between car brand image on customer loyalty. A questionnaire-based research was carried out. As a method of elaborating the results structural equations modeling was chosen. Brand image turned out to be a two-dimensional construct. Then a path model was built, according to which brand perception in a dimension “family trust” strongly influences customer loyalty, while the impact of a dimension “innovative dynamics” is statistically insignificant. A practical implication of the study is claiming the role and dimensionality of brand image in shaping consumer loyalty on passenger cars market.
