    Stopa zwrotu w terminie do wykupu (YTM) jest podstawową i powszechnie stosowaną miarą efektywności inwestycji w papiery dłużne. Wykorzystywana przez praktyków definicja zakłada stałe płatności kuponowe i jednakowe okresy odsetkowe. Są to ograniczenia nierealistyczne. W prezentowanej pracy autor zajmuje się przypadkiem ogólnym, podaje wyrażenia na wartość wewnętrzną obligacji bez wymienionych założeń. W konsekwencji wyprowadza wzór na stopę zwrotu w terminie do wykupu w postaci uwzględniającej zmienne okresy odsetkowe, posiadający własności asymptotyczne zgodne z metodologią wyceny papierów dłużnych i dający możliwość dalszych przybliżeń.
    Yield to maturity is the fundamental and common used measure of investment effectiveness in debt securities. Almost always it is defined under non realistic assumptions, namely that coupon payments are constant and coupon periods are the same. In the presented work author concerns the general case. He gives the expressions for intrinsic value of bonds without simplifying assumptions. The implication of the resignation with simplifying assumption is deriving the formulas for yield to maturity in general case, taking into account various coupon periods.

    The paper describes a new technique which has been investigated in order to overcome the neutron saturation effect and to increase the neutron yield from the plasma-focus (PF) discharges [1]. The PF-360 experimental facility was constructed at the Andrzej Soltan Institute for Nuclear Studies (IPJ) in Swierk, Poland in the late 70s [4, 5]. Recently in order to improve the neutron yield from the PF-360 machine, it was proposed to use a cryogenic deuterium target, which might be placed within the plasma-focus region. For this purpose, we have been made a needle-like cryogenic target covered with a thin „heavy-ice“ layer. A considerable increase in the average neutron yield (from 1.7×1010 to about 2.2×1010 neutrons/shot) has been achieved for 122 kJ PF discharges when the needle target top was placed at a distance of about 100 mm from the electrode ends.

    The paper describes experimental studies of Plasma-Focus (PF) discharges carried out within the modernized PF- 360 facility, which was operated with an additional D2-gas puffing into the region of the collapsing current sheath and PF pinch formation, i.e. into space in front of the electrode outlet. The main aim of these studies was to increase a neutron yield from PF discharges by using fast deuteron beams, which are usually emitted from a pinch column and which can interact with additional D2-gas target.

    Opis:
    This paper concerns building integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), and in particular, potential advantages resulting from the use of this technology. The possibilities of integration of the BIPV elements in the building structure were presented, with particular consideration of photovoltaic roof covering. In order to demonstrate the legitimacy of using solutions of this type in real conditions, the subject of the analysis was the thin–film photovoltaic module, which constitutes an integral part of the photovoltaic roof tile. During the tests, particular attention was paid to changes in parameters of the tested object, depending on the way it is shaped in relation to the solar radiation, demonstrating in this way, the necessity to strive for the optimal exposure of the BIPV elements in relation to the sun.
