    Opis:
    Research background: Sustainability in organizations is a business approach to creating long-term value by taking into consideration how a given organization operates in the ecological, social, and economic environments. The organizational practices that eventually lead to sustainable development are referred to as sustainable organization management. Purpose of the article: The purpose of this paper is to examine the current trends in sustainable organization management over the time period of 2015-2022, highlight the emerging themes in this study area, and provide guidance for further research in the field. Methods: This paper uses bibliometric meta-data analysis to present an analysis of current trends in sustainable organizational management. An in-depth analysis of a sample result of 619 papers from the Web of Science core collection was conducted with the use of biblioshiny, the R-Programming Language package, and the VoS Viewer software. A global representation of concepts was created using the relational directory network visualization technique based on VoS Viewer software. Keyword cooccurrence relationships were determined; relational techniques were used to visualize bibliographic coupling density to identify thematic areas with little research; and overlay visualization bibliometric techniques were used to identify new and old research themes. Findings & value added: Emerging themes are modeling, tourism, and perceptions. Motor theme areas in the field of study include performance, impact, and management. The paper concludes that the study area of organizational sustainability management is still in its early stages and has great research potential, such as Africa as a study area, despite the fact that there have been few or no research findings. Future research should examine the role of technology and innovation in promoting sustainable practices within organizations and clarify how well an organization can survive global competition.

    Research background: Although agricultural competitiveness is not a new topic, it is worth noting that it has recently come back to the attention of researchers due to various factors such as climate change, food security, price uncertainty, or structural transformation. Consequently, a growing number of articles have emerged on this subject, leading to shifts in overarching research trends and the structure of research within this domain. Purpose of the article: This study aims to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the research constituents within the field of agricultural competitiveness. Additionally, it seeks to unveil the intellectual and cognitive frameworks spanning the years 1990 to 2022. This exploration will enable the identification of thematic clusters that both shape and guide the field, shedding light on current research trends. Methods: This research employs bibliometric analysis, specifically employing performance analysis and science mapping techniques like bibliographic coupling and co-word analyses. These tools are harnessed to scrutinize the constituents of research and the underlying intellectual and cognitive structures inherent to the agricultural competitiveness field. A dataset of 622 articles from the Web of Science database was subjected to analysis using the VOSviewer software. Findings & value added: The findings prominently illustrate a notable surge in research activity within this domain, with a substantial proportion of articles originating from the United States. The study further identifies six distinct research topics within agricultural competitiveness: (1) energy efficiency and bioenergy, (2) price fluctuation, uncertainty, and market behavior, (3) structural transformation of agriculture, (4) rural development, (5) policy issues, and (6) climate change. Moreover, the research offers insights into potential future research avenues. The uniqueness and value of this work stem from its pioneering approach, being the first to synthesize agricultural competitiveness research through an amalgamation of bibliometric techniques. Furthermore, the study contributes substantially to the theoretical advancement of agricultural competitiveness research.

    Opis:
    The article presents modern trends related to the development of currency risk management methods and the opportunities and benefits associated with their implementation. Risk is a factor that should be considered when conducting business. Because economic decisions should be made in accordance with the economic calculation taking into account the opportunity costs and the effects of internal and external factors. To emphasize the importance of this issue, it is worth noting that currency risk can be the cause of both significant losses and large profits, as evidenced by numerous cases in real economic practice. Actions taken to manage currency risk increase the company's financial security. The article presents the currency risk control system on the example of Polish shipbuilding companies. At the same time, contemporary solutions used in shipbuilding enterprises in Poland were assessed together with an assessment of their effectiveness.
    Artykuł przedstawia nowoczesne trendy związane z rozwojem metod zarządzania ryzykiem walutowym oraz możliwościami i korzyściami związanymi z ich realizacją. Ryzyko jest czynnikiem, który należy wziąć pod uwagę podczas prowadzenia działalności gospodarczej. Decyzje gospodarcze powinny być bowiem podejmowane zgodnie z kalkulacją ekonomiczną uwzględniającą koszty alternatywne oraz skutki czynników wewnętrznych i zewnętrznych. Aby podkreślić wagę tej problematyki, warto zauważyć, że ryzyko walutowe może być przyczyną zarówno znacznych strat, jak i wielkich zysków, o czym świadczą liczne przypadki w rzeczywistej praktyce gospodarczej. Działania podejmowane w celu zarządzania ryzykiem walutowym pozwalają na zwiększenie bezpieczeństwa finansowego spółki. W artykule przedstawiono system kontroli ryzyka walutowego na przykładzie polskich firm stoczniowych. Jednocześnie dokonano oceny współczesnych rozwiązań stosowanych w przedsiębiorstwach stoczniowych w Polsce wraz z oceną ich efektywności.

    Obecnie budowane instalacje wielkoskalowe zgazowania odpadów wykazują tendencję do korzystania z klasycznych, sprawdzonych przez lata technologii, takich jak gazogeneratory ze złożem stałym, gazogeneratory strumieniowe czy też gazogeneratory ze złożem fluidalnym. Równocześnie jednak sukcesywnie budowane są instalacje demonstracyjne wykorzystujące coraz bardziej zaawansowane technologie takie jak zgazowanie w stopionych metalach/ solach czy też zgazowanie plazmowe. Technologie te umożliwiają uzyskiwanie praktycznie czystego gazu syntezowego, pozbawionego większości zanieczyszczeń, co znacząco obniża koszty budowy i utrzymania węzła doczyszczania gazu. Prognozy, zarówno te z lat ubiegłych jak i te najnowsze przewidują ciągły wzrost produkcji gazu syntezowego a więc i tym samym ciągłą budowę nowych instalacji w tym i również tych zasilanych odpadami (w przeciwieństwie do trendu z lat wcześniejszych). Wpływa to na coraz większą atrakcyjność tych technologii, które stają się interesującą alternatywą dla klasycznych układów spalania paliw kopalnych czy tez odpadów.
    Currently building large scale installations for gasification of waste tend to use classic, proven for years technology such as gas generators with fixed bed, gas flow generators, gas generators with fluidized bed. Simultaneously demonstration plants are being developed successively, using increasingly advanced technologies such as gasification in molten metals/salts or plasma gasification. These technologies make it possible to obtain practically pure synthesis gas, deprived of most of the impurities, which significantly reduces the cost of construction and maintenance of the flue gas cleaning system. Prognosis, both from previous years and the latest ones, predict a steady increase in synthesis gas production, and consequently the construction of new installations including those also powered with waste (in contrast to the trend of earlier years). It influences to increase of attractiveness of these technologies, which are becoming an interesting alternative to conventional systems of fossil fuel or waste incineration.

    The article concerns the effectiveness of polish social policy in terms of reducing the impact of current negative demographic trends. In particular it consist of: the analysis of demographic trends of period 1989–2014 in Poland; the outline of polish social policy in terms of model of polish social policy and family benefits; evaluation of effectiveness of polish social policy in terms of reducing the impact of current negative demographic trends. The article is completed with recommendations.

    Silicon carbide (SiC) power devices offer significant benefits of improved efficiency, dynamic performance and reliability of electronic and electric systems. The challenges and prospects of SiC power device development are reviewed considering different device types. A close correlation between an exponential increase of current handling capability during recent five years and improvement in substrate quality is demonstrated. The voltage range of silicon and SiC unipolar and bipolar power devices with respect to the on-state voltage is determined based on device simulation. 4H-SiC unipolar devices are potentially superior to all silicon devices up to 10 kV.4H-SiC unipolar devices are superior to all SiC bipolar devices up to 8÷9 kV. The low end of SiC unipolar devices is determined to be around 200 V provided substrate resistance is reduced by thinning the substrate down to 100 žm. The influence of reduced channel mobility on the specific on-state resistance of 4H-Sic DMOSFETs and UMOSFETs is shown. It has been demonstrated that 6H-SiC DMOSFETs could be a better choice compared to 4H-SiC MOSFETs in the voltage range below 600 V utilising better channel mobility obtainable so far on 6H-SiC polytype. An impact of super junction (SJ) concept on silicon and SiC MOSFET specific on-resistance limits is demonstrated.
