Opis:
The article presents a method of shaping the transfer function HS of the analog control circuit for Buck converter in voltage control mode. Buck converter is operating in continuous conduction mode. The proposed method of shaping HS provides an effective damping of load changes to the output voltage of the Buck converter. Parameters of HS transmittance were chosen in frequency domain using Bode diagrams. Stability of close loop system was tested by using Bode diagrams of open loop transmittance.

In welding power systems with thyristor regulatory elements where stability and accuracy of the control of output parameters play a key role it becomes important to precisely detect moments of zero crossing in adequate phase voltage of power line. When we have strong mains with sinusoidal voltage waveforms, zero crossing detection of phase voltages is simple. It is different in Th case of mains phase voltage waveforms which are deformed and when switching thyristor bridge visibly deformed voltage waveforms. Such a situationwe have where the thyristor bridge is powered by generator. The article describes the digital control system of 20kW three-phase, 6-pulse thyristor bridge using virtual synchronization point. The system was tested in the welding machine with 500A of output current, powered by generator with output power of 13.2 kW. Despite a significant deformation voltage supply, system still worked correctly. The article presents the output voltage waveforms for typical control systems and a system using virtual synchronization with the deformed point power supply.

Opis:
The future of cars will be connected with "by-wire" systems. The Technical University of Liberec, Department of vehicles and Engines has developed a design of testing equipment for directional control system testing. The objective of the newly designed equipment is to incorporate a wheel with a real tire and a flexible mounting of axle components. The paper describes properties and control of the hydraulic circuit consisting of two double-acting engines with a unilateral piston rod and two proportional valves (Parker D1FP). Each of the front axle wheels is controlled separately. The paper illustrates relationships andpotential of steer-by-wire systems at the experimental equipment. The safe and easy control of a vehicle undoubtedly poses significant requirements. Satisfying them and improving the design to enhance the vehicle's stability have always belonged to the primary objectives of designer s. Consequently, the chassis characteristics, the mechanical features of wheel suspensions, the quality of air suspensions, but also speed control (including brakes) and the vehicle 's directional control have always been emphasised. The objective of the paper was to design a steer-by-wire directional control mechanism with a suitable arrangement. The comparison focuses on various design options to arrange the action members (actuators) of this mechanism.

Opis:
In this research work, a twelve-term novel 5-D hyperchaotic Lorenz system with three quadratic nonlinearities has been derived by adding a feedback control to a ten-term 4-D hyperchaotic Lorenz system (Jia, 2007) with three quadratic nonlinearities. The 4-D hyperchaotic Lorenz system (Jia, 2007) has the Lyapunov exponents L1 = 0.3684,L2 = 0.2174,L3 = 0 and L4 =−12.9513, and the Kaplan-Yorke dimension of this 4-D system is found as DKY =3.0452. The 5-D novel hyperchaotic Lorenz system proposed in this work has the Lyapunov exponents L1 = 0.4195,L2 = 0.2430,L3 = 0.0145,L4 = 0 and L5 = −13.0405, and the Kaplan-Yorke dimension of this 5-D system is found as DKY =4.0159. Thus, the novel 5-D hyperchaotic Lorenz system has a maximal Lyapunov exponent (MLE), which is greater than the maximal Lyapunov exponent (MLE) of the 4-D hyperchaotic Lorenz system. The 5-D novel hyperchaotic Lorenz system has a unique equilibrium point at the origin, which is a saddle-point and hence unstable. Next, an adaptive controller is designed to stabilize the novel 5-D hyperchaotic Lorenz system with unknown system parameters. Moreover, an adaptive controller is designed to achieve global hyperchaos synchronization of the identical novel 5-D hyperchaotic Lorenz systems with unknown system parameters. Finally, an electronic circuit realization of the novel 5-D hyperchaotic Lorenz system using SPICE is described in detail to confirm the feasibility of the theoretical model.

We study an elegant snap system with only one nonlinear term, which is a quadratic nonlinearity. The snap system displays chaotic attractors, which are controlled easily by changing a system parameter. By using analysis, simulations and a real circuit, the dynamics of such a snap system has been investigated. We also investigate backstepping based adaptive control schemes for the new snap system with unknown parameters.

In the paper, different structures of electric ladder networks are considered: RC, RL, and RLC. Such systems are composed of resistors, inductors and capacitors connected in series. The elements of the network are not identical and have nonlinear characteristics. The network's dynamic behavior can be mathematically described by nonlinear differential equations. A class of robust feedback controls is designed to stabilize the system. The asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system is analyzed and proved by the use of Lyapunov functionals and LaSalle's invariance principle. The results of computer simulations are included to verify theoretical analysis and mathematical formulation.

Opis:
This paper presents the concept and implementation of an electronic system for a switched-capacitor DC-DC converter with high voltage gain. The converter consists of seven switches, five of which being controlled like high-side type. This paper presents a non-typical bootstrap-based gate-driver system so that the converter can run using a single voltage source. The converter requires a special switching pattern to drive seven switches in a steady state and also during the start-up of the converter and the regulation of the output voltage. Therefore, an FPGA-based digital control system is used with various switching algorithms and protection functions implemented. The presented converter is an autonomic device that taps the energy from the main input. Therefore, the electronic system of the converter is equipped with a self-supply system with a wide range of the input voltage. The parameters of the converter such as voltage gain, voltages and power ranges can be scalable for prospective applications with the proposed control system.

Opis:
A novel 4-D chaotic hyperjerk system with four quadratic nonlinearities is presented in this work. It is interesting that the hyperjerk system has no equilibrium. A chaotic attractor is said to be a hidden attractor when its basin of attraction has no intersection with small neighborhoods of equilibrium points of the system. Thus, our new non-equilibrium hyperjerk system possesses a hidden attractor. Chaos in the system has been observed in phase portraits and verified by positive Lyapunov exponents. Adaptive backstepping controller is designed for the global chaos control of the non-equilibrium hyperjerk system with a hidden attractor. An electronic circuit for realizing the non-equilibrium hyperjerk system is also introduced, which validates the theoretical chaotic model of the hyperjerk system with a hidden chaotic attractor.

In this work, we have developed a new 4-D dynamical system with hyperchaos and hidden attractor. First, by introducing a feedback input control into the 3-D Ma chaos system (2004), we obtain a new 4-D hyperchaos system with no equilibrium point. Thus, we derive a new hyperchaos system with hidden attractor. We carry out an extensive bifurcation analysis of the new hyperchaos model with respect to the three parameters. We also carry out probability density distribution analysis of the new hyperchaotic system. Interestingly, the new nonlinear hyperchaos system exhibits multistability with coexisting attractors. Next, we discuss global hyperchaos self-synchronization for the new hyperchaos system via Integral Sliding Mode Control (ISMC). As an engineering application, we realize the new 4-D hyperchaos system with an electronic circuit via MultiSim. The outputs of the MultiSim hyperchaos circuit show good match with the numerical MATLAB plots of the hyperchaos model. We also analyze the power spectral density (PSD) of the hyperchaos of the state variables using MultiSim.

A new simple scheme of the diagnostic system is proposed.
