    The Drazin inverse of matrices is applied to find the solutions of the state equations of the fractional descriptor continuous-time systems with regular pencils. An equality defining the set of admissible initial conditions for given inputs is derived. The proposed method is illustrated by a numerical example.

    Opis:
    Products of starch hydrolysis, such as crystalline glucose, glucose solution for second crop crystallization, hydrol and starch syrup, were subjected to the action of an immobilized preparation of glucose isomerase in a continuous process. The stability of the enzyme, its productivity and changes in colour intensity of the solutions were studied during the activity of the enzyme bed for 1-2 months.
    Produkty i półprodukty enzymatycznej hydrolizy skrobi poddawane były procesowi izomeryzacji ciągłej za pomocą unieruchomionej w złożu izomerazy glukozowej Sweetzyme-S o aktywności 213 IGIC/g i Sweetzyme-Q o aktywności 215 IGIC/g. Substratami były roztwory o stężeniu 40% s.s.: glukozy krystalicznej o 99,9 DE, glukozy przeznaczonej do krystalizacji II rzutu o 84 DE, hydrolu o 68 DE i syropu skrobiowego o 40 DE. Roztwory te przed izomeryzacją poddane były oczyszczaniu węglem aktywnym i wyczerpującej jonizacji za pomocą kationitu i anionitu, tak aby ich przewodność właściwa wynosiła mniej niż 10 μS.·cm⁻¹ a zawartość wapnia wynosiła 0,3-2,2 ppm. Po dodaniu 0,1-0,4 g/dm³ siarczanu magnezu jako aktywatora roztwory wymienionych substratów o pH 8,2 na wlocie i 7,2-7,5 na wylocie z kolumny reakcyjnej, były przepuszczane w .sposób ciągły przez złoże 7,5 g enzymu w temp. 65°C przy objętościowym natężeniu przepływu tak dobranym, aby maksymalny stopień izomeryzacji osiągany w pierwszych dniach pracy złoża wynosił ok. 49-50%. Czas procesu izomeryzacji, czyli czas kontaktu substratu ze złożem enzymu mieścił się w granicach 36-80 min. Badania wykazały, że osiągany w pierwszych kilkunastu dniach p,racy złoża stopień izomeryzacji był podobny i praktycznie niezależny od Wartości DE substratów. Okres żywotności enzymu, jt. do momentu spadku jego aktywności do 25% pierwotnej wynosił w zależności od substratu 1-2 miesiące. Duży wpływ na stabilność enzymu wywierały oligosacharydy znajdujące się obok glukozy w hydrolizatach skrobi. Stabilność enzymu, a tym samym i jego produkcyjność zmniejszała się proporcjonalnie do zawartości oligosacharydów w substratach. Natężenie barwy roztworów, wzrastające w procesie izomeryzacji, było zależne wprost Od zabarwienia substratów przed izomeryzacją. Natężenie barwy iromeryzowanych roztworów jednak korzystnie malało w miarę przedłużającej się pracy złoża enzymu. Przeprowadzone doświadczenia wykazały, że metodą enzymatycznej izomeryzacji ciągłej można bez trudności z produktów hydrolizy skrobi również o małych wartościach DE (40-84) uzyskiwać izosyropy słodsze od wyjściowych substratów. Do produkcji fruktozy jednak nadają się przede wszystkim roztwory glukozy o wysokiej wartości DE bliskiej 100.

    In this paper, we study a class of integrodifferential evolution equations with nonlocal initial conditions in Banach spaces. Existence results of mild solutions are proved for a class of integrodifferential evolution equations with nonlocal initial conditions in Banach spaces. The main results are obtained by using the Schaefer fixed point theorem and semigroup theory. Finally, an example is given for demonstration.

    The model for the free nonlinear oscillation of the slider-crank mechanism is very complicated and difficult to solve accurately using most of the existing approximate analytical schemes. However, the continuous piecewise linearization method (CPLM), which is a recently proposed semi-analytical algorithm, is capable of producing simple and accurate periodic solutions for conservative systems irrespective of the complexity of the nonlinear restoring force. Hence, this study applied the CPLM to solve and analyze the complex nonlinear oscillations arising in the slider-crank mechanism. The CPLM results were verified using numerical solutions and it was found that the CPLM solution was accurate to less than 1.0% for angular amplitudes up to 165°. Analysis of the frequency-amplitude response revealed the existence of asymptotic behaviour as the ratio of the crank radius to the connecting rod length approaches zero or unity. Hence, oscillation models for the observed asymptotic responses were derived and found to be significantly simpler compared to the original oscillation model. Finally, analysis of the large-amplitude oscillations of the slider-crank mechanism revealed the presence of strong anharmonic response.
