    Purpose. The article highlights the features and value of postgraduate training in the field of tourism. An important step to improve the efficiency and quality of tourism is an organization of professional preparation, training and retraining of professionals working in this field. Methods. As the tourism market is extremely dynamic, diversified and fleeting, only a systematic and continuous development of knowledge workers will ensure the adaptability and flexibility of the tourism business. Given the current educational trends in continuing education consider necessary to implement training for the tourism business training. Postgraduate seminar training allows employees to tourism businesses to gain new knowledge and skills, to master modern information technologies in tourism, new approaches to master the organization and management tourism activity. Results: Attention is paid to the basic concept of professional development and professional training – the professional development specialists forms professional development of tourism industry professionals and training in such forms as short-term training, self-study, internships, field education, informative tour.

    To sum it up it should be stated, that the usage of distance education technologies should be considered one of the most effective toolsets in professional education, continuous education and further training of civil servants in Ukraine. At the same time the following should be noted: Distance education at present is an innovation for civil service. Usage of certain distance courses by authorities is rather an exception than a rule. To our mind, limited usage of such a convenient means can be explained by the lack of legal basis for the system of distance education and the activity of institutions, offering it.
    Podsumowując należy stwierdzić, że wykorzystanie technologii kształcenia na odległość powinno być uważane za jedno z najbardziej skutecznych zesta wów narzędzi w edukacji zawodowej, doskonaleniu i dokształcaniu urzędników państwowych na Ukrainie. Jednocześnie należy zauważyć, że kształcenie na odległość w chwili obecnej jest innowacją w służbie cywilnej. Korzystanie z niektórych kursów na odległość przez władze jest raczej wyjątkiem niż regułą. Można przyjąć, że ograniczenie korzystania z tych wygodnych środków dokształcania można wyjaśnić brakiem podstawy prawnej dla systemu kształcenia na odległość i działalności instytucji ją oferującą.

    W artykule przedstawiłam travel coaching jako jedną z form edukacji ustawicznej ludzi dorosłych. Edukacja ustawiczna przejawia się w wielości form dostosowanych do procesu uczenia się w ciągu całego życia ludzi. Travel coaching jest rodzajem coachingu odbywającym się w czasie fizycznej podróży. Jego zadanie polega na osiągnięciu celów wyznaczonych indywidualnie przez uczestników. Pomaga w nabywaniu nowych umiejętności i kształtowaniu wiedzy potrzebnych w dorosłym życiu. Ponadto przejawia się w nauce, która ma na celu sprostanie nowym wyzwaniom potrzebnym do realizowania zadań zawodowych i osobistych ludzi. W związku z tym travel coaching może być nazwany formą edukacji ustawicznej.
    In my article I focused on travel coaching which is one of the forms of continuous education for adults. Continuous learning has many forms. They have connections with learning process for all human’s life. Travel coaching is coaching which takes place during a journey. Its aim is to concentrate on individual goals of participants. This process helps people in building new skills and knowledge. They are needed in adult life. Such, new abilities help in realizing goals in professional and private life. For this reason we can name travel coaching as a form of continuous education.

    Współczesne gospodarki stawiają wysokie wymagania społeczeństwom dotyczące ciągłej aktualizacji posiadanej wiedzy, kształtowania postaw w kierunku przedsiębiorczości i kreatywności. Rozwój koncepcji „kształcenia przez całe życie” (Lifelong Learning) stanowi jeden z priorytetów działań w edukacji na świecie i w UE. Badania wykazują, że dorośli Polacy kształcą się i doskonalą zdecydowanie rzadziej niż mieszkańcy pozostałych państw UE. Środki, które Polska otrzymuje na ten cel z różnych funduszy europejskich, nie zmieniają tej sytuacji. Zdaniem autorów, polskiej edukacji dla dorosłych potrzebne są innowacje społeczne, przez które rozumie się nowe idee, procesy, sposoby działania, których celem jest zaspokojenie bieżących i przyszłych potrzeb związanych z ciągłym uzupełnianiem wiedzy. Potrzeby i wyzwania w obszarze edukacji dla dorosłych stają się coraz bardziej „palące”. Celem rozważań jest ukazanie, jak innowacje społeczne mogą stać się dźwignią zmian systemowych.
    The contemporary economies pose high requirements before the societies concerning updating knowledge they have acquired, formation of attitudes towards enterprise and creativeness. The development of the concept of lifelong learning is one of the priorities of measures undertaken in education across the world and in the EU. Research shows that adult Poles are learning and training definitely more seldom than the citizens of other EU member states. The means Poland receives for this purpose from various European funds do not alter this situation. In authors’ opinion, the Polish adult education needs social innovations understood as new ideas, processes and practices whose aim is to meet the current and future needs related to the continuous knowledge development. The needs and challenges in the area of adult education are more and more urgent. An aim of considerations is to show how social innovations may become a lever for systemic changes.

    Ostatnie dziesięciolecia charakteryzują się wielkim przyspieszeniem cywilizacyjnym. Nie wystarcza już tradycyjna zdolność adaptacyjna społeczeństwa do zamieniających się sytuacji społecznych, gospodarczych i technicznych. W artykule wykazuję, że trzeba podjąć zamierzone oddziaływania edukacyjne, skierowane szczególnie do ludzi dorosłych, którzy nie nadążają za zachodzącymi zmianami. Celem opracowania jest uświadomienie problemu globalizacji jako scalania rynków, kapitału, a także nowej idei i mechanizmów funkcjonowania współpracy z uwzględnieniem wielokulturowości. W tym kontekście ukazuję strategię rozwoju edukacji ze wskazaniem roli nauczyciela.
    The last decades are characterized by a great acceleration of civilization. A traditional adaptability of the society to constantly changing social, economic and technical situations, are not yet sufficient. In this article, I am showing that it is necessary to undertake planned educational influences, directed particularly to adult people who do not follow up with those changes. The aim of this elaboration is to enlighten the problem of globalization as a market’s merge, the chapter of the new idea and mechanisms of cooperation functioning taking into account the multiculturalism, at the same time. In this context the development strategy of the education and showing the role the teacher is presented.

    Rapid development of information and communication technologies at the beginning of 21st century has influenced on improvement of communication, learning processes, scientific research methods. It has brought new possibilities for personal and professional development. It has also caused the phenomenon of information noise. The education of the users of information has become necessary. Information skills are crucial not only in the process of university education but also in lifelong education. In this area the most experienced are American universities, which developed the standards of student information skills. Many of these experiences could be implemented in Poland, because here this issue is becoming more interesting for scientists and librarians.

    The paper discusses the complexities of the professional training of music teachers in the system of continuous education. The formation of future professionals is considered on the basis of the subject-object interaction. The purpose of education is to improve the scope of continuous education; this will expedite the formation of the teaching staff capable of carrying out professional activities according to the democratic and humanistic principles. The implementation of the education policy is the priority function of the state aimed at the development and self-actualization of the individual.     Due to the commonly perceived need to specialize in one professional activity, the role of education is increasing. This includes accounting specializations which are important as professions of public trust. In connection with such expectations, the role of education among professional groups of accounting professionals at all levels is increasing. The article presents the educational requirements for the professional specialization on accounting against the IFAC International Education Standards and in the context of the deregulation of the accountancy professions in Poland. As a solution to the problems of appropriate education, the role of the Accountants Association in Poland (AAP) was pointed out, based on the courses provided by it, aimed at not only improving the qualifications of the individuals who are involved in accounting professionally, but also on the supporting ethics. The courses taught were analyzed in a cross-section of their participants in the years 2013-2016. The method adopted to achieve the intended purpose was the analysis of the available literature, the laws in force and the sources provided by the AAP. On the basis of the research, it was found that despite the absence of mandatory professional certification for accounting and bookkeeping, the professionals in this area do see the need for continuous education and take diverse action to raise the quality of the services they provide.

    Opis:
    The early school education stage is a particularly important period, in which the child has possibility to confront colloquial and formal knowledge. An important area of such confrontation is the so-called practical information and skills, including the concept of measure and measuring ability. At the elementary level the child passes from colloquial knowledge of measurement to formal knowledge and starts to understand the interrelationships between various measures. One of the basic threats in shaping the concept of measure in children is too early formalization of knowledge. The article presents the results of the pilot studies regarding the understanding by 7‒9 year old children the sense of measuring continuous magnitudes such as: length, volume, mass, time, temperature and surface area. On the basis of the results, it was found that the most difficulties for children is to measure mass, volume and surface area. Basically, the studied group does not understand the importance of balance on the beam balance, so they cannot determine the result of mass measurement. Based on the observation it was noticed that children mostly associate the measuring activity with length and special tools. They are not aware that we can measure with any chosen units and that we can measure different continuous magnitudes.
    Etap edukacji wczesnoszkolnej to szczególnie ważny okres, w którym dziecko ma możliwość skonfrontowania wiedzy potocznej z wiedzą formalną. Ważnym obszarem takiej konfrontacji są tzw. wiadomości i umiejętności praktyczne, w tym pojęcie miary i umiejętność mierzenia. To właśnie na poziomie elementarnym dziecko przechodzi od wiedzy potocznej na temat mierzenia do wiedzy formalnej oraz zaczyna rozumieć wzajemne związki pomiędzy różnymi miarami. Jednym z podstawowych zagrożeń w zakresie kształtowania pojęcia miary u dzieci jest zbyt wczesna formalizacja wiedzy. W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań pilotażowych dotyczących rozumienia przez dzieci 7-, 9-letnie sensu mierzenia wielkości ciągłych, takich jak: długość, objętość, masa, czas, temperatura oraz pole powierzchni. Na podstawie uzyskanych wyników ustalono, że najwięcej trudności sprawia dzieciom mierzenie masy i pojemności oraz pola. Zasadniczo badani nie rozumieją istoty równowagi na wadze szalkowej, a zatem nie potrafią ustalić wyniku pomiaru masy. Na podstawie prowadzonej obserwacji zauważono, że czynność mierzenia, kojarzą dzieci głównie z długością oraz ze specjalnymi przyrządami. Brakuje im świadomości tego, że mierzyć możemy za pomocą dowolnie obranych jednostek; i że mierzyć można różne wielkości ciągłe.

    W artykule przedstawiono wyniki sondażu przeprowadzonego wśród przedstawicieli podziemnych zakładów górniczych odpowiedzialnych za ustawiczne kształcenie zawodowe załóg górniczych. Zaprezentowany materiał empiryczny pokazuje, jak rynek edukacji pozaszkolnej oceniają jego odbiorcy. Tym samym uzupełnia wiedzę o przebiegu procesu ustawicznego kształcenia zawodowego. Drugi uczestnik procesu, tj. podmioty szkolące załogi górnicze w systemie pozaszkolnym, zostały opisane w innym artykule (Majer, Nowak 2011).
    The article presents the results of opinion poll carried out among representatives of coal mines reliable for persistent vocational education and training of coal mines employees. The study showing the assessment of informal learning market by services receivers. The analysis complete knowledge concern process of persistent training coal mines employees, as the opinion of second participants of the process, training institutions were describe in other article published by the same authors (Majer, Nowak 2011).
