W artykule przedstawiono stan wypadkowości w kopalniach rudy miedzi w okresie 2007-2018 r., ze szczególnym zwróceniem uwagi na wypadki spowodowane zawałami, obwałami, opadami skał ze stropu i ociosów wyrobisk korytarzowych i eksploatacyjnych, zabudowanych obudową kotwową oraz wyrobisk niezabudowanych. Opisano genezę tego zagrożenia oraz podejmowane działania profilaktyczne, w oparciu o obowiązujące przepisy górnicze w tym zakresie. Na podstawie opisanych niebezpiecznych zdarzeń w postaci zawałów, obwałów i opadów skał ze stropu i ociosów oraz skutków tych zdarzeń w postaci wypadków śmiertelnych i ciężkich, zwrócono uwagę na przyczyny geologiczno-górnicze i błędy ludzkie polegające między innymi na nieprzestrzeganiu obowiązujących przepisów górniczych w tym zakresie.
This article presents the state of accidents in copper ore mines in the period 2007-2018, with particular attention being paid to accidents caused by roof falls, rock slides and rock falling off the roof and side walls of dog heading galleries and mining headings with and without rockbolt support system. This paper describes the genesis of these hazards as well as preventive actions undertaken, based on applicable mining regulations in this area. On the basis of hazardous events described herein, such as roof falls, rock slides and rock falling off the roof and side walls and their consequences, involving fatal and serious accidents, attention was paid to geological and mining causes and human errors consisting, among other things, in failure to comply with applicable mining regulations in this area.

Opis:
Artykuł poświęcono ocenie sytuacji finansowej trzech sektorów: sektora deweloperskiego, sektora budowlanego i sektora materiałów budowlanych. Badania objęły okres od 2005 do 2011 r., a więc ilustrują, czy i w jakim stopniu na sytuację sektorów związanych z budownictwem wpłynął kryzys finansowy. W ocenie sektorów wykorzystano analizę wskaźnikową, odchylenie standardowe oraz wycenę wartości dokonaną metodą zdyskontowanych przepływów pieniężnych oraz zdyskontowanych zysków rezydualnych.
This paper aims at evaluating the financial standing of three sectors: the developers’ sector (including investors), the construction sector (namely contractors) and the construction materials sector (suppliers of production resources). The research comprises the period from 2005 to 2011, so it illustrates the impact of the financial crisis on the situation of sectors connected to the construction industry. The evaluation makes use of ratio analysis, the standard deviation, and the DRI and DCF valuation of values. The research results contain information about the standing of particular sectors before and after the crisis. They also show the power of relation between individual sectors, and identify the differences in the risk levels as well as anticipated return rates.

L2 motivation is a relational phenomenon, shaped by teacher responsiveness (Lamb, 2017; Ushioda, 2009). Little, however, is known about the practices in which responsiveness is manifested. Drawing on research from the culturally responsive teaching paradigm (Petrone, 2013), and highlighting the role of empathy and perspective taking (Warren, 2018), the aim of this ethnographic case study of two lessons with a focus on poetry is to develop a relational understanding of the evolution of motivation. Analyses reveal how perspective taking has instructional and interactional dimensions, and how connections between lesson content and funds of knowledge with origins in students’ interactions with popular culture bring additional layers of meaning to learning. It is suggested that while connections that arise through perspective taking practices shape students’ in-the-moment motivational responses, they also accumulate in ways that lead to enduring motivational dispositions.

A set D of vertices in a graph G = (V,E) is a weakly connected dominating set of G if D is dominating in G and the subgraph weakly induced by D is connected. The weakly connected domination number of G is the minimum cardinality of a weakly connected dominating set of G. The weakly connected domination subdivision number of a connected graph G is the minimum number of edges that must be subdivided (where each egde can be subdivided at most once) in order to increase the weakly connected domination number. We study the weakly connected domination subdivision numbers of some families of graphs.

A dominating set D ⊂ V(G) is a weakly connected dominating set in G if the subgraph G[D]w = (NG[D], Ew) weakly induced by D is connected, where Ew is the set of all edges with at least one vertex in D. The weakly connected domination number ϒw(G) of a graph G is the minimum cardinality among all weakly connected dominating sets in G. The graph is said to be weakly connected domination critical (ϒw-critical) if for each u, v ∈ V(G) with v not adjacent to u, ϒw(G + vu) < ϒw(G). Further, G is k- ϒw-critical if ϒw(G) = k and for each edge e ∉ E(G), ϒw(G + e) < k. In this paper we consider weakly connected domination critical graphs and give some properties of 3-ϒw,-critical graphs.

Artykuł dotyczy problemów, jakie pojawiają się przy próbach opisu utrwalonych jednostek języka polskiego pochodzenia biblijnego. Autor opracowania zwraca uwagę na wysoce niejednorodny status genetyczny tych konstrukcji, które powszechnie uznawane są za jednostki o rodowodzie biblijnym. W tekście postulowana jest potrzeba odróżnienia konstrukcji o prymarnym rodowodzie biblijnym, dla których Biblia jest wyłącznym źródłem pochodzenia, od tych, dla których tekst biblijny stanowi jedynie medium, płaszczyznę upowszechnienia. W tym drugim wypadku mowa jest o jednostkach, które status spetryfikowanych konstrukcji zyskały poza tekstem biblijnym. Obiektem bliższego oglądu autor uczynił tę drugą kategorię polskich biblizmów, wskazując głównie na hebrajską i grecką tradycję retoryczną jako ważne źródła ich pochodzenia. Wśród typowych świadectw tej tradycji opracowanie wskazuje na takie figury i gatunki retoryczne, jak: chiazm, hiperbola, antyteza, synkreza, meryzm, abstractum pro concreto oraz konstrukcje o typie loci communes. Pochodną opracowania jest propozycja wprowadzenia do opisu rodzimych biblizmów dystynkcji oddzielającej płaszczyznę źródłową od płaszczyzny upowszechnienia tego rodzaju jednostek. W części końcowej autor wskazuje na dodatkowe możliwości badawcze, jakie wynikają z odwołania się do teoretycznych i praktycznych osiągnięć tradycji retorycznej w kontekście opisu rodzimego zasobu skonwencjonalizowanych jednostek pochodzenia biblijnego.
This paper deals with the problems which arise during attempts at describing fixed units in the Polish language which originate from the Bible. The author pays attention to a highly heterogenous genetic status of these structures which are commonly regarded as units of biblical origins. In this text, the need for distinguishing between structures of primary biblical origins (for which the biblical text is the only source) and those for which the biblical text is only a means, or level of popularization, has been postulated. In the latter case, we deal with the units which acquired the status of outdated structures outside the biblical text. The author investigates in detail this latter category of Polish biblisms, pointing mainly to Hebrew and Greek rhetorical tradition as important sources of their origins. Among typical proofs of this tradition, the paper mentions such figures and rhetorical genres as: chiastic structure, hyperbole, antithesis, syncresis, merism, abstractum pro concreto and structures of the loci communes type. A follow-up to this paper is a proposal to introduce into the description of native biblical units a distinction between the source level and the popularisation level of such units. In the final part, the author points to other research options, which result from the reference to theoretical and practical achievements of rhetorical tradition in the context of describing local resources of conventionalised biblisms.

In order to classify digital spaces in terms of digital-homotopic theoretical tools, a recent paper by Han (2006b) (see also the works of Boxer and Karaca (2008) as well as Han (2007b)) established the notion of regular covering space from the viewpoint of digital covering theory and studied an automorphism group (or Deck's discrete transformation group) of a digital covering. By using these tools, we can calculate digital fundamental groups of some digital spaces and classify digital covering spaces satisfying a radius 2 local isomorphism (Boxer and Karaca, 2008; Han, 2006b; 2008b; 2008d; 2009b). However, for a digital covering which does not satisfy a radius 2 local isomorphism, the study of a digital fundamental group of a digital space and its automorphism group remains open. In order to examine this problem, the present paper establishes the notion of an ultra regular covering space, studies its various properties and calculates an automorphism group of the ultra regular covering space. In particular, the paper develops the notion of compatible adjacency of a digital wedge. By comparing an ultra regular covering space with a regular covering space, we can propose strong merits of the former.

A graph G is called Hamilton-connected if for every pair of distinct vertices {u, v} of G there exists a Hamilton path in G that connects u and v. A graph G is said to be t-tough if t·ω(G − X) ≤ |X| for all X ⊆ V (G) with ω(G − X) > 1. The toughness of G, denoted τ (G), is the maximum value of t such that G is t-tough (taking τ (Kn) = ∞ for all n ≥ 1). It is known that a Hamilton-connected graph G has toughness τ (G) > 1, but that the reverse statement does not hold in general. In this paper, we investigate all possible forbidden subgraphs H such that every H-free graph G with τ (G) > 1 is Hamilton-connected. We find that the results are completely analogous to the Hamiltonian case: every graph H such that any 1-tough H-free graph is Hamiltonian also ensures that every H-free graph with toughness larger than one is Hamilton-connected. And similarly, there is no other forbidden subgraph having this property, except possibly for the graph K1 ∪ P4 itself. We leave this as an open case.

Let G = (V,E) be a graph. Set D ⊆ V(G) is a total outer-connected dominating set of G if D is a total dominating set in G and G[V(G)-D] is connected. The total outer-connected domination number of G, denoted by $γ_{tc}(G)$, is the smallest cardinality of a total outer-connected dominating set of G. We show that if T is a tree of order n, then $γ_{tc}(T) ≥ ⎡2n/3⎤$. Moreover, we constructively characterize the family of extremal trees T of order n achieving this lower bound.

The (total) connected domination game on a graph $G$ is played by two players, Dominator and Staller, according to the standard (total) domination game with the additional requirement that at each stage of the game the selected vertices induce a connected subgraph of $G$. If Dominator starts the game and both players play optimally, then the number of vertices selected during the game is the (total) connected game domination number $(\gamma_{tcg}(G))(\gamma_{cg(G)})$ of $G$. We show that $\gamma_{tcg}(G) \in \{\gamma_{cg}(G), \gamma_{cg}(G)+1, \gamma_{cg}(G)+2\}$, and consequently define $G$ as Class $i$ if $\gamma_{tcg}(G) = \gamma_{cg}(G)+i$ for $i \in \{0, 1, 2\}$. A large family of Class 0 graphs is constructed which contains all connected Cartesian product graphs and connected direct product graphs with minimum degree at least 2. We show that no tree is Class 2 and characterize Class 1 trees. We provide an infinite family of Class 2 bipartite graphs.

A proper edge-coloring of a graph is a coloring in which adjacent edges receive distinct colors. A path is properly colored if consecutive edges have distinct colors, and an edge-colored graph is properly connected if there exists a properly colored path between every pair of vertices. In such a graph, we introduce the notion of the graph’s proper diameter—which is a function of both the graph and the coloring—and define it to be the maximum length of a shortest properly colored path between any two vertices in the graph. We consider various families of graphs to find bounds on the gap between the diameter and possible proper diameters, paying singular attention to 2-colorings.

This article is an attempt to analyze the impact of the IoT concept on the operations of modern organizations and the implementation of changes related to its use. The main areas of possibilities arising from the development of this concept have been analyzed and identified in this context, and basic types of emerging new business models have been identified. Key obstacles and limitations of technical and non-technical, as well as internal and external nature have also been analyzed and identified.
Niniejszy artykuł poświęcony jest próbie analizy wpływu koncepcji IoT na funkcjonowanie współczesnych organizacji i implementacji zmian związanych z jej wykorzystaniem. W tym kontekście przeanalizowano i wskazano najważniejsze obszary możliwości tworzących się wraz z rozwojem tej koncepcji oraz zidentyfikowano podstawowe typy wyłaniających się nowych modeli biznesowych. Wskazano również oraz przeanalizowano kluczowe bariery i ograniczenia natury tak technicznej, jak i pozatechnicznej o charakterze wewnętrznym i zewnętrznym.
